The massage portion of the facial was amazing and easily the highlight of the service. However, I don't feel the service was worth the price point. While the esthetician was kind and explained her steps, the actual treatment felt rushed, as if my face was just being "played with" rather than treated. Several of the masks and cleansers caused a burning sensation that wasn't addressed. Most disappointingly, I woke up today with my skin looking worse than when I went in. I also received zero aftercare instructions. I wasn't told whether to wash my face, what to expect regarding irritation, or how to maintain the results. Overall, it felt like a waste of money for a professional treatment.

She's better and her prices are half of what Sabine was charging.

I have always been extremely hesitant to have facials or anything which requires the use of products on my skin as I have very sensitive skin & am allergic to ingredients commonly used in skin products. We have had multiple conversations over the years about what services and products are going to be the best for me & I trust Sam implicitly. And I have never regretted any of those decisions. I did extensive research online and settled on Spavia as the place I wanted to have my first experience and I'm really glad I did. Based on the reviews, I chose Luciana and everyone is absolutely right. She is wonderful! She talked me through everything she would do, gently suggested items she thought would help me on my skincare journey but was never pushy at any point, I felt so comfortable throughout the whole session. First, the ladies at the front desk were super welcoming and gave me an iPad to sign in on, that asks a few questions about your skin background, etc. They also ask you what kind of scents you want, what kind of music you want to listen to, and what you want the pressure of your massage to be. The atmosphere was calming, ambient and clean. They give you lockers for your items, a nice fluffy robe and slippers to change into, and free amenities while you wait, like tea, water, weighted neck pillows, etc. While The Retreat room was super nice and relaxing, I didn't have to wait long at all. Luciana came in very quickly afterward, and explained everything to me. We went to a room, where you lay on a table with a little heated blanket and a foam roller for under your knees to support your lower back while you lay. The experience was heavenly. Luciana was gentle with my skin, the massage was so nice. I almost fell asleep on the table! After everything was over, I got changed and headed back to the counter to pay for my experience, Luciana had set out some skincare products that she felt would suit me based on our time together, but again, there's absolutely no pressure to buy them. She didn't stand there and wait for me to make any selections. She simply placed them on a table and walked away. I ended up purchasing one of the two items, a gel cleanser. Whenever purchasing a skincare item you also get to choose a free little gift that they offer which was super nice! As far as what I got, I got the acne purifying facial which comes with a face, neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage and lasts about 60 minutes in total! And it was only $139. For that experience I almost felt like I was stealing! With the skincare product I bought (without the tip) the total came to around $180 (but its a LOT of product). If you want to tip in cash, which I did, they give you a nice little envelope to place it in, with a 'to' and 'from' section to fill out. I've already scheduled my next appt and told friends and family about this place. Can't wait to come back!

Andrea surrounds herself with an amazing staff of women who are kind and amazing at their craft. Laurie, who helped me make my most recent appointment was accommodating and easy to schedule with. She also let me know ahead of time what COVID protocols were being followed. I know during this time the idea of having someone close to your face can be scary but Andrea and her staff take every precaution. Temperature checks are taken at the front and Andrea wore a mask and shield when she did my brows. They are also sanitizing between each of the services. I felt safe and at ease throughout the entire process.
