First message... three days later... NO RESPONSE FROM ANYONE-
Coco R.

Where do I begin... it is 3 am and I am up for a second night in a row because the thermostat automatically drops to 71 and it's literally freezing but let me begin from the beginning of this trip. I WILL ABSOLUTELY UPDATE THIS REVIEW ONCE IF I EVER HEAR FROM MANAGEMENT. I also decided to leave tonight and not stay one more night due to it just being unbearable. I had to book a hotel and pay more money which would of been avoided had someone just responded to my messages. Day 1 ARRIVAL: Corridor: Walls were filthy- not sure of this is a tactic to keep your deposit but I will update and see. Kitchen: Pans were put away with food still on them. I had to literally wash the pans. The same with the grill it had oil and wasn't cleaned. Spider webs all over bar area. The chairs are literally coming apart (straw is falling apart and is dangerous) and will stab you on the butt when you sit. The straw in one literally poked through my pants and pierced my skin. Be careful! Washer: It has mold! The door to the dryer was literally placed with no warning that it can collapse on you. I am glad I didn't bring a toddler with me. Bed sheets: Loft- I had to rewash one set because it was stained. Master bedroom: the thin cover has HOLES ON IT (gross!) I think with the $1.5 K paid maybe they can afford to replace it. Master Bedroom: Bathroom has mold on knobs. Knobs are $20 common! It is pretty disgusting. They do provide some stained towels and toilet paper. Under the master bathroom was full of pet hair!!!!! I brought a mini poodle. All of us where full of pet hair which appeared to be from a labrador or retriever. The windows don't lock. Most of the latches are completely broken. There is a bunch of junk in the closet. WiFI: UNSTABLE! I called way in advance to ask about the WiFI and they said they had not issues. I had to use my personal hot spot for most of my stay. Outside door lock- It took me a long time trying to figure out how to lock the condo since no instructions were provided. I called every number provided and no response. I called the emergency number but Sara did not know how to use the lock and said that the maintenance guy had other matters to handle. She was polite and tried to help but Not being able to give me a solid time when someone could come and help since it wasn't an "emergency" was not okay. I thanked her anyway. She asked me to leave the condo open and that he would lock it at "some point" during the day. I ended up having to use YouTube and managed to figure it out. I called her back and let her know I figured it out but we ended up missing our reservations and had four very unhappy kids. I am not sure why management did not response. I would hate to say that I was dismissed due to my last name (Spanish)... not sure. I am a world traveler and will say that this is the worst and most neglected I have ever felt and that says a lot for someone whose visited multiple countries. I have stay in Mammoth every year; this unfortunately was the worst stay and most expensive out of all of them. They are QUICK to respond prior to your stay but once you arrive you are completely ignored. Positives: Top floor bathroom was nice. There was toilet paper and towels.

Had to use microwave light to see and cook

Beware this is not a reputable company. I would not list my rental or rent through ready 4 rentals.

Ready 4 Rentals took over managing my condo 5 years ago from another rental company in town and I could not be happier.

Nomadness Rentals maintained great communication from the moment we made the reservation and…read morethroughout our stay. We didn't have any issues during our stay at the #570 Modern Mountain Retreat in an Idyllic Creekside. The condo had everything we needed and had no issues. It was well updated and the decor was pretty and modern. The available appliances were great (toaster oven, air fryer, large Hamilton crock pot, large tub washer/dryer, etc.) and in good working order. I must highlight, the kitchen knives were good quality and sharp. Quality plates and silverware. Parking was easy and convenient. The hot tub was the building adjacent from our rental. We very much enjoyed our stay. Dog friendly. We will definitely reserve this rental again.

St. Mortimer -- READ Nomadness Rentals on Trustpilot before you book. Terrible support…read more At first impression, the unit is cute, quaint, and centrally located. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. During a 3-night stay, we experienced numerous maintenance failures and extremely poor support. This unit is clearly not well maintained. The first night, the circuit breaker tripped and we lost power and lights in most of the unit for 12 hours. I called and messaged repeatedly and could not get help. Cooking in pitch black wasn't easy. There was no after-hours emergency number on their voicemail at the time (this appeared only AFTER the incident when I complained). I requested compensation and received none. I was even told there were "no issues," despite being on the phone during business hours and receiving verbal instructions on how to fix it myself. This involved first finding the circuit box outside, then resetting the switches & GFI buttons inside. Finding the unit was also unnecessarily difficult. It's in Building G. We searched for 45 minutes in the dark. This information is buried under "Amenities" instead of being included with check-in instructions. When I pointed this out, I was treated like I was the problem. Additional issues included a TV that randomly stopped working (outlet broke), an extremely finicky furnace (we fixed a broken wire), a broken wall heater, an unsafe and unusable couch bed (claiming it is 'fine' should reflect their standards) pellet bags piled in the living area, flimsy fixtures, a shower door that wouldn't close, and loud furnace/vent noises at night. They want to argue with me because they say it's an easy fix. Well this isn't my house. All I know is the power is out and I have no help in the dark. Don't know where the box is don't know the switches. Plus this was fun- they had a lock in the circuit box! No accountability. Bottom line: poorly maintained unit and terrible management. Their response below alone has been just as dismissive as they have always been. Beware

You ever were disappointed and let down when one of your favorite go to spots go out of business or…read morethe owners get too old and their kids move on... so you're sad because another favorite place bites the dust? Just found out Graphic Conclusion is no longer there because the owner died and the wife didn't want to take over...So after the Pandemic and we came up to Rock Creek and Yelped "Pie in the Sky"and it no longer existed... I was bummed... another establishment bit the dust... the Pie in the Sky lady no more.... until today... I kept yelping "food", "burgers", "restaurants" for Rock Creek Lake... nothing... Ineresting Rock Creek Lakes Resort came up... okay, let's look at pictures... hey, Twin Lakes Resort has a good place to eat... even Convict Lake has a nice place to eat... there were some pictures of food... hmmmmm... pulled pork sandwiches? After further investigation, I checked out their website... they got smoked meat? Really... no pics, no menu... even on Yelp... nada... No matter... I will Google maps it and see where this lodge is at... wouldn't you know when I got there it was the Pie in the Sky location... so I dropped everybody off to try their breakfast first... sorry, no picture of the breakfast because I started talking to a long time customer, whose daughter even worked there... she told me the history of Pie in the Sky and told me that their daughter and son in law took over the business... and the Pie in the Sky lady, the daughter's mom still bakes the cobbler... and another daughter in law now bakes the pies... and the son in law built and manages the smoker in the back... she told me to take pictures of the smoker... so I left my bar stool and went out to the back... sure enough Steve, the Pit Master and owner was prepping the brisket and his smoker was getting ready... I asked him what kind of wood they use and he told me they get almond logs locally... very cool... He informed me they make their own BBQ sauce right there... wow... no ribs today, but maybe tomorrow... and today he wanted to roast some corn in the little smoker... after talking I went back in and started talking to the lady customer again... completely forgot to take a picture of my breakfast... I remember the bacon was delicious... and noticed she had French toast... next time... it was too early to buy the BBQ and the pies, so I needed to return at 10:30 when they sell them... at 11:00 my wife and nephew were done fishing and decided to go with me... we came back and I order all the meat available to try... the brisket meal which came with chili and coleslaw... the pulled pork with the same sides and 1/4 pound of Tri Tip... and finding out that the Pie Lady made the cobbler I ordered the peach and berry cobbler along with the Coconut Cream Pie and the Lemon Cream Pie... Finding out that Pie in the Sky never left and was now taken over by family made me very very happy... I took a lot of pics with explanations with scores on all the food... My big surprise was the chili and the lemon cream pie... both got a 10/10... A big thanks to the daughter and son in law taking over the parents business... not only taking it over but making really awesome changes without sacrificing the love and charm of Pie in the Sky... it's cool because Mom and Dad still come around and help out with the business... Oh... here's another interesting thing... I asked Steve if he wanted me to make a Yelp for the restaurant and he said he has one up... It's called, Miller and Son's BBQ Sauce Brewing... when I went to their site there was no reviews no pics... so I was the first to put pics on the site... now I will go there and write another review at that site... so there you go... Pie in the Sky is now Miller and Son's BBQ Sauce Brewing... and I did go home with both the Original and the Velvet (tinge of coffee flavor) both are delicious and I will put that on my slow cooked meat... hahahaha... no offset though just a Traeger... Hoping more people who loved Pie in the Sky will find it again!
