The store is…read morealways well stocked with both new releases and back issues, and it's the only shop I've found that consistently carries a large inventory of Spawn back issues, including several key issues. I've checked out other comic shops around the Valley, but none of them seem to have the Spawn selection that Collector's Choice does. They also have a great selection of graded comics and variants, which makes browsing even more fun. One thing to know before visiting: new releases and back issues are handled as separate transactions. So if you bring a mixed stack to the counter, expect to do one transaction for the new books and another for the back issues. I've never asked why they do it that way, but after shopping here several times, it's just something I expect. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. During my last visit, the owner was interacting with customers by offering 25% off any item in the store to anyone who could correctly answer his random comic trivia question. Nobody got it right while I was there, but it was a really fun way to engage with customers. For the curious, the question was: "What was the final issue of Conan the Barbarian published by Marvel?" Answer: #275. If you're a comic collector--especially a Spawn fan--this place is absolutely worth checking out.

There is a new little cafe at the back with cimfy couches and chairs. They have a long gaming tablein thw back of the store and la list of planned events. I love the art on the walls too. The oragami comic book pages and the wonder woman are my favorite.

Never give your business to this store. You'll be left disappointed. I called them in February…read morebefore putting in an order for the Magic the Gathering: Final Fantasy Collector Booster Box to verify that they had enough allocation and that their online listing for it was not a mistake. They told me that if it is up then they have allocation. Fast forward to June when the set releases. I had to find out via reddit that Strange Adventures said that they do not have enough allocation to fill orders and instead would do a *raffle* vs queue order. They said they would post who won the raffle the following day. This never happened. They also said if you want to get a refund on your preorder, you need to *e-mail* them (vs them initiating the refund). There's also other reports of customers getting charged post-announcement as well. I've sent an inquiry e-mail days ago with no response. Fortunately, I finally found out that I could cancel the order from the Shopify web page directly (I don't think I saw the option via app) and was able to do so there. ONLY FANS... Listen,…read morebub! ONLY real FAN boys and girls know about this O.G. comic book store that's been in the valley over the decades. The best way I can pay homage to a business that was a memorable part of my childhood is to say this is one of the BEST comic book stores EVER. The store has had multiple locations around town back to the first location circa early 1990's. Atomic Comics still serves as a haven where kids of all ages can immerse themselves in fantasy and adventure and stimulate their imagination. The shop has all things comic and pop culture from figures and toys, books and graphic novels, cards and games, clothes and accessories, even a section for manga and anime. The vibe of this place is a clean, fun, safe space where kids can escape and decompress. I would even say it is a therapeutic experience and positive for mental health zoning out to comics. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and personable and willing to strike up a conversation with patrons. If you need another reason to gather here, the store hosts a variety of events and tournaments which you can explore on their website for schedules and info. If there was a nuclear fallout, Atomic Comics would be one place where I wouldn't feel bad about hunkering down. Deciding to come here is not splitting atoms. Do yourself and kids a favor, create memories and make this a tradition with your children like my dad did, and stop in to get your kid to get a comic book (or 2) every week. You'll love it, 3000! Nuff Said!

When asking about a specific comic, you don't get a "point" in the proper direction -- they walk over to the section and hunt down your comic with you and if they don't have it, they offer alternative solutions for you. On top of the great service, they also have great prices. Most of the time they're offering lower-than-cover-price deals, which makes buying here a real treat. To me, Greg's has a real incentive to make me want to drive the extra distance past some other closer comic shops.

"I had this one, wish I kept this one, cannot afford this one" - LOL Greeted as we walked in and told if we had any questions let them know, after that I was left alone to look & bin dive in peace (wife left to go to next door Dollar Tree) . "She really liked the Dollar Tree" so I actually beat her up the car. Just FYI in case your significant other is not a comic nerd. Store had plenty of old stuff & wall items to browse, along with current/new releases. There was some decent bargains to be had. I picked up some not so common books for a $1 so made my experience very good. Friendly Staff who interacted with customers as much as the customer wanted/needed. I am not local, but will definitely visit again my next time in the area. A solid Comic Book Shop !!!

I was originally told they would create a free sample shirt for me within two days. Instead, it took over a week. Even with the delay, the sample shirt turned out nice, so I decided to place a bulk order worth over $400. I was told I would receive my shirts within one to three business days, but I ended up waiting eighteen days while dealing with repeated mistakes and miscommunication. During this time, I made multiple trips to the store because the promised timeframe had already passed, and I assumed my order would be ready. Each time, it was not. After all the inconvenience, I expected some form of compensation, whether a refund, a discount, or at least acknowledgment of the delays and the unnecessary back and forth. Instead, I found myself having to repeatedly hound them just to get them to address the issues and attempt to make things right. One of my designs was printed on the wrong shirts, and instead of taking responsibility, they tried to place the blame on me even though my designs were clearly planned and communicated ahead of time. The kids shirt I ordered also had a logo that was not fully pressed, with the edges visibly lifting off the fabric. This entire process has been a headache. If you want your shirts done correctly and within the timeframe you are promised, I strongly recommend going somewhere else.
