I originally found their online aisle planner website difficult and hard to navigate at first and learned to really appreciate it down the road. It wasn't that it was hard to navigate more than I didn't take the time to explore all the different features. It was a life saver for me and later turned into my wedding bible because it housed all my vendor information, payment schedules, important dates, seating chart, checklists, and more. Fast forward to the month before the wedding. Christine was amazing and set up all our final vendor meetings, etc. she made sure all the vendors talked to each other and coordinated everything with the hotel. She took care of all the vendor logistics, COI, etc. Which at the time, I didn't realize was a lot. She was crucial in selecting our decor and creating the timeline. The day of the wedding comes and Christine was there bright and early setting everything up. We had an attendant, Tiffany, assigned to the bridesmaids, another one dedicated to the groomsmen, Christine setting up in the reception hall, and later, Diana, a runner and they all were amazing! They were there the entire time of us getting ready and making sure we could connect with Christine as she handled the vendors coming in. They made sure we were taken care of, checked in, and never left. Diana was also a life saver and had my shoes ready for me to change into after all the photos. I could go on for days and never capture how much Christine and her team truly helped us. They helped set up, tear down, managed my family and guests, managed all the vendors, and handled all the melt downs. They were the absolute best hire! We ultimately chose partial planning based on our venue, Kijamii Overlook at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and she found us incredible vendors to complete our day. We had an initial phone meeting, and I immediately found Christophe to be incredibly personable, friendly, and easy to talk to. We met in person for the first time on our wedding day, and he was every bit as pleasant, warm, and joyful in person as he had been on the phone. He also captured beautiful drone footage of The Wedding Bowl overlooking the beach as well as La Valencia, which added such an incredible sense of place to our wedding film. About a month after our wedding, we received our finished video, and we could not have been more pleased. Watching it brought all of the emotions of our wedding day rushing back. I found myself emotional all over again as we relived those moments through his work. What impressed me most was the way Christophe told the story of our day. The editing was so thoughtful and beautifully done. The film began with a fun, lively energy and gradually transitioned into something softer, more romantic, and emotional. He expertly wove together footage from the different locations and parts of our day with meaningful audio clips from our ceremony. The transitions, music, scenery, and little moments all worked together beautifully. I especially loved that our video didn't simply feel like footage of our wedding presented from beginning to end. We really were impressed with the food and so glad we went with Abbey as that was important for us to have really good tasting food. Worked with The Wild Thyme Co for my 10/18 180 person wedding at the Darlington House! Through…read morethem, we booked our rentals with Event Party Rentals with whom they partner. We worked with Rachel and Jordan and booked about 1.5 years in advance. They were communicative and very flexible with my multitude of changes throughout the year and a half working with them. I was even able to add a cake tasting and cake later on and change certain rentals very close to wedding date. They were patient and accommodating and willing to make just about anything work! My guests were incredibly happy with the food and the service, and my husband and I absolutely loved the waiter assigned to us on wedding day! The only thing that went wrong was half of our string lights (required by DH) went out for the entirety of the seated meal due to an installation error. I'm not docking any points from rating as this was a genuine mistake and WTC reached out to their EPR contact right away to have them return to site and get it fixed. It did take about an hour+ to resolve but WTC was very apologetic and even provided a a partial refund for the lighting. One thing we were bummed about was that cake service occurred during the main dance floor time and if cake wasn't accepted from the server, it was a missed opportunity. According to my guests, about 90% of people didn't get cake as it wasn't left on tables and most people were on the dance floor. 2.5/3 sheets cakes remained at the end of the night. One big win was TWC was so organized and accommodating for the many dietary restrictions/allergies we threw at them and served our guests appropriately. We received no complaints and guests and family said it was handled seamlessly! All in all, my husband and I were so pleased with our decision to work with WTC and will forever cherish the role they played in making our day amazing!
