Less than one star. My dad died and they will not let us cancel his deliveries and future payments (it was his account, not ours). They are also charging us for all deliveries in the months after his death, all of which are after we requested the deliveries stop. This is disgusting. They are trying to take advantage of family who lost a dad. They will not stop delivering and will not give us our money back and will not stop blowing up our phones. read more

I had been happy with this company for awhile but then I was constantly receiving notices that the prices were increasing on the water, delivery, and cooler rental. I called to cancel my account and delivery and was told they would waive the rental fee for a year so I decided to stay. They backed it up with an email. Then without any notification at all I was charged rent again. It was at a much reduced price and when I called to inquire I was told that because of the type of cooler I had, they could not completely waive the fee. I told them to cancel my account and pick up their cooler. Then on top of it all, they charged me a $50 cooler restoration fee. I am so happy to be done with this greedy company. read more

I started water delivery service with ReadyRefresh while we were having our office rebuilt. (set up autopay with company credit card) From the first install, cooler was broken and had to be replaced. Every month the driver would drop off "promotions" which I thought were free, but then would get charged. Called and had to tell them to stop doing that. Would drop off cups and then charge us. Had to call and have that stopped as we never asked for cups. I would tell customer service, that we only want water, but they kept this up several months. I finally called and said that if it continues we would cancel. This company claims that if they have deliveries in the same area you won't get charged a deliver fee ($9.99) Our business neighbor (across the hallway) and our company received a water delivery on the same day. I called and asked to have the $9.99 removed and they said no. Construction is over and the office wants to keep the water delivery service, but I cannot continue with this company. I cancelled the service and they are charging a recondition fee of $50 after 7 months of use. Please, run from this company. Go to Poland Springs direct or another water company. We are a small business and use ReadyRefresh to supply bottled water for our employees. The service is horrible. Deliveries are delayed without notice, there is no opportunity to talk with a dispatch service to ensure delayed deliveries are delivered on an appropriate day, often the initial delays are extended again without notice, and complaints or problems are handled "in 5-7 business days." Hold times to speak with customer service are obscenely long, and they are unable to offer help, explanations or any kind of compensation. Awful service- We used this for a corporate delivery and I placed an order but it was never delivered. I was then notified that we had a small balance due of $150. I tried to pay online and they disabled our account and sent us to collections. I was chatting with customer service for HOURS trying to get access to make a payment and they couldnt figure out how to help me. They then charged us $299 for unreturned equipment, even though we intended to continue using their services?? I paid off our balance and tried calling and was told there is another fee to "reinstate" our account. When I asked how much it was, I was put on hold for over 15 minutes- that should be an easy question to answer. Definitely much easier to deal with Amazon Fresh or order elsewhere at this point. I have never dealt with a more UNRELIABLE service. Their website allows you to order and schedule delivery for out of stock items, without advising you that the items are out of stock. The customer service number connects you to somewhere overseas where they have no idea what the problems are or how to resolve. All they do is apologize. I tried using this service several years ago and cancelled all deliveries because they were so unreliable. I once had a delivery rescheduled without my knowledge, and it was delivered to my front door while I was on vacation. Now, years later, I thought that maybe they had improved but it seems like their service has only gotten worse. I just had 2 deliveries scheduled and still nothing has been delivered. Ready Refresh delivered four big bottles to my house today 1/10/2022. I am not now and never have been a Ready Refresh customer. These four big water bottles belong to someone else. I called Ready Refresh1-800-274-5282 and got someone with very poor English who refused to have the water bottles picked up and delivered to the correct address. He would not transfer me to a supervisor because I was not a Ready Refresh customer. I argued for several minutes and when I asked for his name, he hung up on me after putting me on hold for three minutes. IF YOU HAVE A VISA CARD, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFO. Why, you ask?? After canceling my account two months ago (which was painstaking enough to even get someone on the phone) I realized today that they did not in fact close my account! They just canceled the recurring deliveries. I tried in vain to delete my credit card info off of my account but they don't let you. I tried calling them for a week but nobody answered. I emailed them and they responded by saying I should call them to close my account. WHAT!? I contacted my credit card company (VISA) to cancel my card and send me a new one so that ReadyRefresh couldn't continue to charge me for a service I had been trying to cancel. Well IMAGINE MY SURPRISE when VISA told me that they have an agreement with certain companies, including ReadyRefresh, that if you have any sort of subscription with them, VISA AUTOMATICALLY SENDS READYREFRESH MY NEW CREDIT CARD INFO EVEN IF I SPECIFICALLY SAY NOT TO!! VISA said that if I had an issue with ReadyRefresh that I needed to cancel my account on their end. I explained to them that this company is a fraud and I've tried to cancel with them before and they wouldn't do it. Visa's only response was that there was nothing they could do except send a request up the chain that I would like ReadyRefresh to not receive my new CC info and it may/may not be approved. Even if it gets approved, it's only valid for 15 months. NOPE. I canceled my VISA account all together and will be shopping around for a new credit card company because that is the only way to get rid of these con artists. If it was possible to give them 0 stars, I would. They constantly don't show up when I have confirmation numbers from customer service stating the water will be delivered on a certain date. Tuesday I called because we never received our December delivery, and we had only 3 five gallon jugs left. For a busy medical office, I knew that amount would not last until our next scheduled delivery of the 31st of January. I requested a sooner delivery - 20 five gallon jugs (our usual order) plus two cases of distilled water. I was told they would be delivered Thursday, and again was given a confirmation number. Well Thursday came and went, and it turns out, they only delivered the distilled water! They came in when I was in a meeting and sneaked out without delivering the full order. I have one bottle left, and they say they cannot deliver until Wednesday. Furthermore, they said that the full order was delivered Thursday. So now the delivery driver is lying and saying he dropped off our full order. Customer service is unapologetic, and this business model is ridiculous. I am not surprised that this company has a 1.5 star rating. I'm now looking into Belmont Springs. I hope Ready Refresh goes belly up - it's what they deserve. Never have I been more disappointed in a company. The water is refreshing, the taste is memorable and my hydration is constant; but, they sit on a throne of lies. As a punctual person, when nestle provides misleading and downright inaccurate delivery times it's as if they put salt in my water - killing me one sip at a time. How do I know that they deliver THREE HOURS before they say they do? How do I know that they run ahead of schedule and deliver my liquid gold before they promise they would? Even though we could not do anything about it within the alleged warranty timeframe because of ongoing health issues in the world. Terrible business! I've been trying to get in touch with customer service for 2 weeks (tried calling and emailing) with no success. I moved to a new place and needed to change my delivery to a new address. The website offers no way to change delivery to a new address. I called customer service, the automated phone always says there's a 25 minute wait. After an hour of waiting, some guy came onto the phone and then hung up on me before I could say a single word. I tried calling back, waited another hour and got no answer. Then I tried sending them an email. After 10 days, I've still yet to receive a response on my email. Have been a customer for years at my business to get 5gallon bottles delivered. My account rep is constantly changing without notification so I do not know who to contact, when you call the main office you are minimally on hold for 20 minutes before you speak to someone. When I want to make changes to the quantity I am having delivered, it takes more than one of these long phone calls to actually get them to update the account. Mid August they raised the cost 1/3 without notification other than the bill that jumped up 33% and when calling to question, it took 40 minutes to get the info and they had no idea who my rep was. Ive used the Ready Refresh water service for the past two years. Their website is pretty poor and was a pain to make changes on, but the service was regular and decent I have recently moved and set up service in Oxnard, CA. The first delivery day a no show, the second day a no show, the third day a no show. I finally cancelled the service and requested my equipment picked up, another no show. I have called repeatedly, so clearly neither the drivers nor management can do their job properly. I've rescheduled my pickup for tomorrow again. What a waste of my time and energy. read more
