My husband visited the Hamilton Mill location for a CT scan. He was charged $350 for a scan with contrast. We paid the bill. Later, our insurance covered this for just our $35 co-pay. His visit was in Oct. It's march and I still cannot get a refund of the $315 they owe us. I cannot get to a manager or anyone who is capable of resolving this issue. They agree they owe us the money. If you use this facility, please confirm the CPT codes they will bill and check with your carrier to avoid this type of issue. read more

You've got to be kidding. No matter what you're seen for they require a covid-19 pcr test at $225 out of pocket unless you have insurance. Appears to be there money grab, if you're requiring it to be seen the the cost should be on the clinic. And don't tell you the test takes them 45 minutes to run. Had pcr test 19 days ago and it was negative and took 15 minutes to run. Also haven't been seen by the NP because that's all that's here today. If I could give this place a 0, I would. I've never had such awful care. Everyone is SO unprofessional and I always ran out of my prescriptions and when I'd call my doctor for him to refill them, he never answered and was so unbothered by it. I ended up having to buy them out of pocket. Michael Johnson was my doctor and also called himself "a cheap bastard". I tried calling multiple managers and left detailed messages of my frustration and no one ever called me back. So no.. I do not recommend this place AT ALL. read more

So, I initially had a really poor service with the doctor at this site where the doctor refused to see me even after passing the COVID-19 screening that they give to each patient. I had chest tightness(which I later learned was from anxiety) and although the nurse at the front cleared me to be seen the Dr(Dr Syed I believe) refused to and said I had to go to the emergency room. This left me with an over $2000 bill and even the emergency room was shocked that he would send me there. When I went on the online platform to check my chart from the "visit" I had with the doctor, he falsified my symptoms and added more than I ever said. That was the first bad experience I had some months ago. He was abrupt, insensitive, and lied. Then, just today, my mother took my brother to get a check up and as we waited in the car for the COVID-19 results, the Dr(Dr. Syed I believe again) calls and says, verbatim, "Is this-- um I'm not going to be able to say your name" then proceeds to just spell out the last name rudely. Again, just a sense of insensitivity and lack of care for your patients. I'm not sure what training the doctor has, he may be licensed to practice medicine, but this office should limit his interaction with patients because he isn't kind and in a time like this, people are already nervous to come into a doctors office. We had a very bad experience with Dr. Ebner when she worked there. We quit her and started to see Dr. Poddar there. My mom was placed on hospice through this practice while Dr. Poddar was vacationing in India. I left 5-7 messages to speak to her since her NP actually placed my mom in hospice at my request. This was a big deal to me. Even the fact that I was another physician didn't matter to her. Finally, about a month later, I got a call from Dr. Poddar out of the blue and I told her my mom was placed on hospice and why. She was unconcerned. She never again checked in us to see how mom was doing (had been a patient for several years). My mom died 5 months after being placed on hospice. MD disinterested. OK medical care, but would expect a bit more investment in patients that are not URGENT CARE. This is really an URGENT CARE center. read more

My appointment started about 15 min after the scheduled time. Staff were friendly, and the nurse practitioner was knowledgeable and thorough. They have the ability to do diagnostic tests such as labs, X-rays and ECGs (although the precordial ECG lead placement was incorrect). Overall, this urgent care should be able to appropriately handle most complaints that might otherwise be seen by the emergency department, and you'll have a significantly shorter wait time than if you went to the hospital. However, after receiving the bill I would no longer recommend this location for routine preventative care. The charges were over $800. Fortunately my insurance paid most of the bill, but the price was increased by unnecessary testing such as a screening ECG (which is not recommended by the USPSTF guidelines). I still had to pay part of the cost out-of-pocket. read more

I had a cold and my ears were plugged up along with my nose. My doctor could not fit me in so I went to Reagan at Hamilton Mill, Ga. I was told I would have to sit in my car and get a covid test. The nurse came and did the swab and said it would take 20-30 minutes and stay in my car. After 43 minutes I went in and was told to go ahead and sit for a couple more minutes. I was then ushered into a room. A woman came in-did not introduce herself or her position. I went over what I had been doing and said I was taking vitamins. She looked at me in disdain and said vitamins don't help a virus. She was so condescending the entire 8 minutes she was with me. I am 74 years old. She sent a prescription for congestion and sent me home. I went to my own doctor a couple days later, got a shot, scripts for cough and antibiotic. read more

A physician should uphold dignity and honor to his/her patient. I found this to be untrue with Dr. Ebner. After several complaints regarding the poor treatment and lack of bedside manner. I feel I'm a victim of patient profiling due to retaliation. I learned that Dr. Ebner falsely put statements in my medical profile based on retaliation of several verbal complaint about her awful bedside manner amongst other profiling that I will not mention. I was treated and have proof that Dr. Ebner made a false allegation in my medical chart. This type of behavior of bogus slander and claims can lead to consequences of improper medical care, and distrust of physicians. After 4 years of being a patient of this practice. I will not be returning to a place that allows this type of profiling. I plan to file a complaint to the Georgia Composite Medical Board. read more

The staff is very kind and understanding. Unfortunately, they are horrible at communicating results and/or answering the phone. I went to see them due to a possible broken nose, and I initially received anti-inflammatories, an x-ray, and a limited amount of information. A week passed, and I did not receive results from my x-ray, even upon calling the clinic multiple times per day. No one answered the phone or called me. My mother had to go in for an appointment and decided to ask the nurse practitioner about the results. Apparently, for a week, the results were invalid because the tech had done the wrong x-rays, and no one called to inform me. I was then instructed to return the following day for more x-rays and was told that I would not have to wait or pay an additional fee. Unfortunately, I had to wait for an additional thirty minutes in the waiting room to be called for x-rays. Now, this injury happened a week and a half ago. I have been in continuous pain and refused to go to the hospital because I did not want to pay additional money if it was just bruised. Avoid this place for Covid testing! After seeing all the signage outside their clinic and due to convenience of their location to my house I scheduled my kids for a Covid test here. Upon arrival I was asked to pay $150 per child. I questioned the price because I have insurance and had already met my deductible for the year. The representative stated that I could leave if I had changed my mind. The $150 per child was considered an office visit charge. We never saw a doctor, only a nurse who quickly checked their temperatures. Most clinics consider the nurse checking vitals to be a "triage" not an appointment. Two weeks later I received an additional bill for each child for $115 each! Northeast GA urgent care only charges a copay and does include a visit with a doctor who performs and exam that includes testing for Covid, Strep, and RSV. read more

Today I tried Reagan Medical at the five forks location. When we went in the ladies up front told us that there would be a wait but they would keep us informed on how much longer. It was about an hour and 20 minutes but so worth it. We had the pleasure of having Nurse Kerri.. She was as sweet as she could be and very caring. I will never go back to this office. I waited over two hours to be seen. The receptionist put my visit in for the wrong location. After two hours, I went and complained so that I could get service. The front office was aware that some patients were assigned to a different office even though those patients were sitting in the lobby waiting. Instead of checking on their patients or verifying their own sign up sheet, the receptionist carried on about her day. When I left almost 5 hours later, there was one other patient who had signed in before me, and she was still waiting to be seen. Meanwhile, the receptionist was playing bouncy ball. I understand being busy with sick patients but when your office knowingly has an issue with your computer or receptionist, you fix it. A quick scan of the lobby or simply crossing off patient's name as they were called back would have made a huge difference but apparently those simple tasks required too much effort and interrupted the bouncing ball game. read more

Told to pull to the side on building because he couldn't come in. Was swapped for a Covid test after telling them he was negative. I was surprisingly impressed with this Dr's office. They were able to schedule me for a same day, new patient appointment, which is unheard of from my experience. When I arrived I was welcomed by a spacious, clean waiting room and greeted by a friendly smiling receptionist. I waited all of 5 mins before I was seen. The nurse was gentle and very sweet, as was the Dr. had an X-ray done on this visit and discovered the person administering the X-ray was not qualified. This was both scary and disappointing, but I would still recommend Reagan Medical.It's a great practice and perfect for general care issues, such as sick visits, check ups, physicals, etc. read more

This was pretty dreary and from the moment I walked in and I wished I had left! It is very cold and uninviting. The receptionist seemed bothered to check me in. When another client asked how much a sports physical was and was surprised by the answer, the receptionist crossed the patient's name off the waiting list and wrote "no money" next to his name for all the world to see. So unprofessional! When I got back to see the doctor things didn't really get any better. Their blood pressure machine seemed broken and pinched my arm so tight I had red marks and bruising after my visit. The two assistants that were taking my vitals were contradicting each other and I could see them rolling their eyes at each other in disagreement. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is because the wait, all things considered, was not that long and I had a very straightforward medical issue that the doctor was able to prescribe a simple antibiotic for. Raegan medical in Dacula is a place that I have been being in my family of 5 to for any urgent or immediate medical services that we can't get an appointment for our regular physician. They have also been very thorough, nice and have access to xrays, testing and other services needed for most immediate urgent needs. We have never had a bad experience. This is the first time I am impressed by a doctor's office visit. I don't give out five stars very easily because usually a business has to earn them in my book, and let me tell you these people deserved and work for each and every Star. Judi Vose at the front desk was wonderful and nurse Collins was so attentive and took care of my needs and got all my scripts emailed to my Pharmacy Superfast. I came looking for medical help and Dr. Hamid Syed was only consumed with the thought that I had COVID. I was telling him and assuring him I don't because I have barely been around people. He wouldn't let it go which was irritating so I agreed to take the test so he could then do his job as a doctor and treat me. The nurse came in and did the test, she was amazing and gentle which I appreciated because I was feeling so miserable. Sure enough 15 min later the test came back negative!!!! When he returned I told him i didn't appreciate his approach and now that it was negative could he actually treat me for what I came in for. He then made it all about him and his safety. Then asked me to put my mask back on! I just tested negative. Needless to say it went downhill from there. He asked the nurse to come back in and be a witness to what was going on and I was trying to tell him clearly we are misunderstanding each other, lets start over. He said for his safety he couldn't treat me and asked us to leave. He said I was being aggressive. He considered my honesty of how he made me feel as an act of aggression. So as sick as I was I had to find a location that would actually treat me and help me feel better. The PA and nurse were rude and only wanted to do a fast covid test so they could get paid. I bet they are charging everyone for the test and it is not needed in most cases. I went in for a TB test and was met with unprofessionalism and rudeness. I had scheduled an appointment as I didn't want to wait 2hrs. for a 5 min test. I was met with a cold greeting from the receptionist who didn't seem to know what I was talking about when I said I scheduled an appointment. I showed her my confirmation and she acted like it didn't matter. So I asked how long will I need to wait since I had an appointment and she said behind everyone else treating me like a walk-in. Well, I guess I'll just add to the rest of the disappointed and unsatisfied commenters on this site. The Reagan Medical Centers are poorly operated. For starters, the call center staff are "somewhat" professional in terms of customer service (they aren't mean or rude but seem beleaguered, nonchalant, and without enthusiasm. Maybe this has strongly to do with the duration of the pandemic and it's taxing work conditions- who knows? But I'd think that the actual healthcare workers (ie. nurses, NP, and PAs) would be more susceptible to worker's fatigue and not the people sitting down answering phones most of the day..but I could be wrong. Regardless, the call center staff have an astounding lack of knowledge of any health topics, poor listening and communication skills, don't take or leave notes, nor do they return calls from voicemails that are left. Honestly, If they change their call center standards the quality for the center may increase by at least 40 to 50%. Doctors and NPs refuse to talk to patients; when you need vital info about a diagnosis or next steps for treatment, they are only accessible via a voicemail, and you'd be lucky to get a response in the next 24 to 48 hours. Doctors respond via their own internal portal with vague notes and rely on the call center staff to convey those responses to the patients - but only after you've call the call center back for a day or two for updates and HOPE that the doctor has responded. It's just a very poor system that could really benefit from other health organizations and their triage process. Wether a life threatening emergency or not, "bottlenecks" and communication shortfalls matter more in health care than in any other organization, I'd imagine. read more

Waiting times are awful! Despite making an appointment I had to wait for 2 hours to be seen. The front personal was not helpful at all. If you need a Covid test go to another place, but the 15 minutes advertised are more like 3 hours and 15 minutes of wait. Needed a general doctor so I decided to try this location out. First appointment was 3 weeks ago for stomach, back and head pain that would not go away. Ended up having to see an outside facility a week ago for a CT scan and the results were sent to Reagan Medical the very next day AND several other times as well due to Reagan saying they did not receive the scans. I finally had to go to the Imaging facility to get my CD and paper print out of my CT results to take to Reagan personally. Dropped them off at 1145am and was told the Doctor would call me back today. FINALLY got a call back at 9pm from a nurse who literally READ the SAME paper results I had given them. I even asked if anyone looked at CD and the nurse said NO. Said the results they found were minimal and I should be in NO pain at all. SO...after over 3 weeks of being in pain with no answers...I did not even get a call back from the Doctor, the Doctor did not even look at my CT scans, and even after telling them I am in A LOT of pain...they responded with "Well you shouldn't be in pain." I went to pick up my scans today and the women in the office would not even look at me yet even ask how I was doing. This is not how patients should be treated..heck..this is not how anyone should be treated. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Treat this place as it is called..Urgent care. Not Personal care. Do not go here expecting someone to actually care about what they are doing. You are just a pay check to them. That is how they treated me. read more
