And Cherry on Top - he won't talk to you or pick your calls. Only text... and robotic responses like crew is working very hard, as diligently as they can, etc when no crew will even be working (again, he doesn't know. You gotta tell him. Meaning text him, as he won't talk). Do yourself a favor now, and find someone else. Or you will see if for yourself, the day after you sign the contract.

While the company may have access to subcontractors capable of good work, my personal experience was that the overall communication, reliability, and quality control were severely lacking. Throughout my project, communication was inconsistent at best and completely absent at worst. There were frequent excuses, last-minute cancellations, and ongoing delays, which caused a project that was originally estimated at four months to drag on far beyond the timeline. Repeated attempts to get clear updates were met with attitude, evasiveness, or no response at all. In my case, Adam personally installed cabinetry in a basement kitchenette. The installation was done so poorly that cabinets had to be redone, and several pieces were left rubbing against drawer faces. When concerns were addressed, I was met with unprofessional behavior and frustration rather than accountability or solutions. The constant nickel-and-diming, lack of transparency, shifting stories, and unwillingness to take responsibility ultimately forced me to end the relationship and hire someone else to finish the job properly. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Adam Williams or Atlanta Remodeling Specialist. After 4 years of living here I made the decision that I needed to open up the front entry room to the living room and the living room open up to the kitchen to create a much more seamless open living space. Old houses can be tricky so I knew it would not be easy. I interviewed many contractors and ultimately landed with Adam and his team at Atlanta Remodeling Specialists. To make this open concept work we needed to remove walls, put in two load bearing beams, rearrange and add to the kitchen, build up a subfloor, and then match flooring trim and cabinet colors. I'd like to think that I am pretty handy but I know my limits. So that's where these pros came in. I had a pretty clear image in my mind of what I was looking for and Adam and his team delivered! Every day they worked they kept the house as clean as they could so I could continue to live there during the process. Communication was top notch and easy to get questions answered especially because I often was at work while they worked on the house. During the project I also needed to have part of the roof repaired from a leak and Adam was able to set that up and a team was up there fixing it within 24 hours. I am incredibly thankful for the hard work this team has put into making this house more functional and the value they have added. I encountered issues with Northside Remodeling during a basement renovation. I learned they had…read morehandled the permit application for our renovation without our knowledge or approval. They named themselves as the contractor on our permit without us contracting with them. After reaching out to the county for a copy of the application, I discovered that details were added to our form after my signature, without any notification to me. Not only was I surprised to see Northside Remodeling and Willie Middleton's name on the permit & application, I was extremely surprised to find my signature on a document I didn't fill out. This unexpected change left me feeling very uneasy, questioning the level of honesty with this business. The basement project itself was rife with issues - rough-in plumbing done incorrectly, window egress not installed to code, framing not complete or installed correctly. In Georgia, the licensed contractor on the permit is accountable and responsible for the work to be done to code. We have since had to hire a new contractor and pay additional money to fix these errors. It wasn't the smooth experience I hoped for, and I personally would want to find a company that emphasizes clear and upfront communication.
