Located in a quite shopping strip this is place you might easily miss, so drive carefully. The place was very very dead when we entered. Instantly I knew what I wanted, gyro with their little potato pieces. We ordered to go and food was ready within 5 minutes. The moment the lady handed me the food I could feel the steam coming from the bag. Boy was I excited! Our portion was the perfect size.(wish I had taken pictures but was so hungry didn't bother). Fresh greek food that hits the spot. Food: I am a huge fan of their greek salad. Always fresh with no slimy rotten pieces of green (my salad people know what I'm talking about). They are not stingy when it comes to the toppings either. There is ample amounts of kalamata olives and feta cheese. The vinaigrette dressing is a little more on the acidic side. So those of you who suffer from a little acid reflux, you have been warned. In addition I had the lentil soup and falafels. Falafels are a little on the drier side, but dip them in the most amazing tzatziki sauce, and you are golden!! I would def try one of the meat platters as a first timer. It comes with the most fragrant basmati rice and a little side greek salad. I have been here numerous times and have always been pleased. Cherry on top-they serve up some BIG PORTIONS. A foodies fantasy!!! Service: You order at the front and they will bring you the food. Food comes out in a timely manner. Drinks and other things are mostly self serve. Now they do have delivery.... but it is not always reliable. I have had a couple of times where they would not deliver due to staffing. But there is always Uber Eats and GrubHub my friends. This place is awesome! I found it on ScoutMob. It's more than just a neighborhood Mediterranean place. It's a little hard to find via Google, but it's located in the small lot behind the big lot that has Carvel/Chipotle. It is right next to an Urgent Care center and close to Gold's Gym. The cashier, seems like owner is really nice and helpful. They have a lunch special, but you can't use your scout mob on that because it's already discounted. I ended up getting the vegetarian platter to try a bunch of different things at once. Everything was really fresh and flavorful! They only had two falafels on there, but there is more than enough stuff to make up for that. It also came with hummus, baba ganoush, tabouleh, a greek salad, pita bread, and sauces. I could be completely wrong, but my measuring stick for good Mediterranean has always been, ironically, their sides. Hummus, falafel, and baklava, so with taste buds eager, I took a step inside. I ordered their lunch special to go, which came with three types of meat (kufta and shish kabob, as well as typical gyro slices), an order of rice, salad (typical feta, olive salad), pita slices, a couple of containers of sauce to dip and a drink. Additionally, I ordered a small Hummus, a couple of falafel, and one baklava (lunch and dinner time?? Yep!) The good: I loved the baklava. Great flavor, extra flaky and light. My only gripe is the serving size was a little small for the price. I really enjoyed all three of their meat selections. I don't think anyone can go wrong with a gyro sandwich here because the meat was all pretty flavorful, tender and filling. The not so good: Gotta say, while I did like the cool green insides of the falafel, the flavor of it was fairly bland, which was a shame. Same can be said about the hummus, which was not "bad", but definitely not the best either. I actually didn't finish it. I think the price point for the lunch special is a great deal with that amount of food, but some individual items can sting a little. Inside, i'll say right off, it's not at all what I expected. Olive is REALLY clean, nice tables, spacious and not the little crammed hole in the wall I was expecting as I walked to the door. Kudos. While i'm at it, Olive shares a parking lot with a few other restaurants, but don't let that fool you because during the lunch hour, parking can be pretty packed in the area of the Olive store front. Service is pretty quick (From ordering to walking out the door took me less than 10 minutes), and staff didn't flinch when I added things to my order, after placing my initial order. I do like the addition of Olive, as this area was kinda lacking in the Mediterranean department. They do a lot of things right, and their meats alone have me interested in grabbing one of their sandwiches. I don't have any particularly Greek style restuarants in my area so I decided to venture out a bit and try these guys. My first meal with them was a test expecting another lack luster meal, but I was pleasantly surprised. The meat was very flavorful and the included salad was fresh and crisp. I also wanted to try the calamari appetizer with my my first meal but I did not want to spend too much for the first meal. I was so satisfied with the first meal, I decided to order again a few days later. This time I got the beef kabob and the calamari appetizer. I got home and the amount of calamari they give you is very generous. I tried a few and I was instantly hooked. I pretty much made a meal out of the calamari itself. It's nearly perfectly breaded and perfectly seasoned. Add a squeeze of lemon and dip them in the tomato basil sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I ate so much calamari I was too full to eat the entree so I saved that and the remaining calamari for the beef l next night. The calamari didn't last until dinner as I couldn't wait any longer and ate them for lunch. I ate the beef kabob meal for dinner and even warmed over it was again very flavorful. Even the salad was delicious, I was so delicious in fact that I ate the tomato wedge itself and I usually don't eat large tomatoes. I definitely will be ordering from this restaurant again and I certainly don't mind the drive. I've been twice with my sister and the second time was harder to get there than the first since it is in a labyrinth of a shopping center. The food taste great and fresh and the portions were relatively large. I've only tried a couple of things go on their menu but so far all have been good but both times for me the guy at the entrance didn't seem to happy but he was never rude. Their prices are not bad but I find it interesting how the exact same dish and portion is so much cheaper earlier in the day. I love this place! They have very friendly staff & amazing food! Their prices are fantastic & their food is so tasty! I've been here twice & I have gotten the mixed grill platter & the half shish/kufta kabob sandwich. Their german potatoes are always fresh and are really great. Their salad is good & their tzatziki sauce along with their hot sauce are the best! The kufta is my favorite meat they have then the shish kabob is the second best. However, their gyro meat is alright & their hummus is good. They have really good falafel. I would definitely recommend this place who wants to try something new & eat some really great tasting food! The gyro sandwich (4.5/5) from Real Olive was so delicious! Highly recommend. It was stuffed with lots of gyro (lamb and beef) and the price was really fair! Well-prepared and good quality meat with lovely taste. Also tried the Greek Salad (3.5/5) and the Greek Potatoes (3/5). Greek Salad was very fresh - but personally not quite a fan of the purple-ish dressing. Greek Potatoes were mediocre... nothing too special. It wasn't really garlicky and was extremely lightly flavored. I definitely won't be getting sides from here next time but will most likely be returning for their yummy gyro sandwiches! read more

This place will totally throw you off fr the front. At the time of me writing this the front awning had broken where they have outdoor seating, so that threw me off. Inside nothing is really that clean or they were just having a bad night. The tables were messy and the floors hadn't been mopped in a while. But let me tell you... The food is reallllllly good! My wife and I had no idea what to expect as it was our first time. Both of our orders were spectacular. If you can get over the environment of it all then you will enjoy the food they cook. We eat here at least once a week and the owner is always present and they are very accommodating and you can tell he appreciates his customers. He has a pleasant demeanor and my husband has dietary restrictions that they can accommodate. Additionally, the food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. The kabob meat and chicken breast are clean and tender. Their Babagonuj and Tzatziki (sorry if I spelled those incorrectly) are the best!!!Their rice is never re-heated. They also make a delicious new hot sauce that's incredible but I can't eat but a little bit because it's SPICY HOT! If your local and spending $25 or more, you qualify for delivery.
