When I posted my videos and photos of this restaurant on my IG, everyone reached out to me asking how it was because they had always wanted to try it here. I gave my honest opinion: Positive: -Beautiful interior with a lot of space for diners -Delicious foods with big proportions -Plenty of parking in a lit plaza Negative: -VERY slow service -Not greeted -No smile -Not very friendly Restaurant opens at 11:30 AM. I got there at 1 PM with my Aunt and there was nobody there. I went to the other side of the restaurant lingering and wondering if we should just go find our seat or stand there. There was another couple that was seated already. A server finally came out to deliver foods, don't even acknowledge us, and after putting her foods down, walked away. I had to stop her and asked if we seat ourselves. No hello, welcome, or anything. She didn't smile and only gestured something and walked away. We were confused and walked back to the other side where a man was at the register finally. We asked him the same thing and he went to go get the server lady. She finally took us to our booth. Again, didn't ask us if it's our first time, if we had any questions, nothing. The didn't let the lack of enthusiasm deter my mood because I am there to try out the foods. It took forever for the server to come back to get our order. Foods did arrived in a reasonable amount of time, big proportions, and everything tasted as good as it looks. Took us 2 hours from beginning to end dining there even though there were only 3 couples eating there, including us, during lunch on a Wednesday. That's how slow service was. I can't even imagine how it'll be during a big crowd on weekend nights. The prices were on the same level as Delbar and Rumi's. However, the other restaurants has top notch service. The service here acts as if we're doing them a favor by paying them for the foods. I will probably not come here again even though it's close to my area. If it still stands by next year, I will probably give them another chance. read more

We've been here a few times. While we like to try different places, we haven't been out in a while and thought we should go where we know the food is great. They've expanded since we were here, so it wasn't as difficult to get a reservation. I've tried a different dish every time I've been here. They were all wonderful. Today I ordered Qaliya and rice. Wife ordered tikka kebab. Qaliya was delicious, and a rather large portion. Owner is always here, and very friendly. Staff is good, and service is excellent. I highly recommend this place. read more

I can't believe I waited three months to try this place after a friend recommended it--I've seriously been missing out! This is hands down the best kebab and Mediterranean food I've had to date. The decor and ambiance transport you straight to the Middle East, and the service is both friendly and incredibly fast. The naan was perfectly thin and soft, and the portions were very generous. I love this place! I get the lamb every time I go! This is a favorite place for my husband and my son as well

I only ever ordered takeout from here, but it's probably the most delicious kebab joint in the area. The meats are flavorful, and the sauces they give you bring it to another level. My only gripe is with the inconsistent portion sizes for the price. It is quite expensive at $22 for a chicken kebab meal, and sometimes they give you half of the bread, and sometimes it is literally a sliver. read more

What a great find! We were looking for a new place to try and were so glad we discovered Nature Village through Yelp to celebrate a friend's 65th birthday. While it was a bit tricky to locate--better signage would definitely help draw more customers--once inside, we were welcomed by the warm and vibrant atmosphere. The Turkish-inspired decor is absolutely beautiful, and the cozy, intimate setting made it feel extra special. The hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. The managers or owners personally came by more than once to check in on us, making sure we were enjoying our food and having a great experience. Their warmth and attentiveness truly added a special touch to our evening. The menu offers a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes. We started with a mix of appetizers: hummus, falafel, and the appetizer combo. Just a heads-up--the bread isn't included with the hummus, so we had to order it separately, but it was fresh and delicious. For our main dishes, I had the Quzi and my husband had the butter shrimp--both were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The yogurt sides (one spicy, one mild) that came with the Quzi were a surprising highlight, adding an extra layer of taste to the meal. Even though we brought our own birthday cake, we couldn't resist trying the tiramisu, which was creamy, rich, and absolutely worth it. Tried the Erbil kabob, Mahshi kabob, and qouzi. The kebab was juicy, the basmati rice was delicious, and the naan/iraqi bread was freshly baked. The real highlight for me were the sauces that came with each dish. I have an obsession with good sauces and those 2 paired reallyyyy well with the dishes. What a beautifully eclectic, reasonably priced and uniquely delicious Kurdish fusion restaurant! As a Mediterranean and Persian foodie, this place really knocked my socks off. Nature Village is one of the best middle eastern restaurants I've tried in Atlanta and I wish it was closer bc I would be going there so often!! Since my parents didn't have any plans for Christmas Eve, we came here for a nice family dinner. The decor is absolutely beautiful and looks like it came straight out of a movie, and the setup made each booth feel very private! We split the quzi, qaliya, and special platter between four of us and it was plenty of food! All of the meats were so tender, sauces were amazing, and the rice was cooked perfectly. Their desserts looked so good but we were stuffed so I definitely have to come back to try their rice pudding! This restaurant is located in a mostly empty little plaza strip The restaurant is smaller than it seems and looks in pictures, this is a small cozy facility. The settings are beautiful inside. As for the food I ordered the chicken platter ($16.99) I think I assumed it would be a chicken shawarma plate but it was actually just sliced chicken breast marinated. This came with a salad and rice. The chicken had some sweetness and complex seasoning to it and I can't say I enjoyed it too much. It also came cool/warm and not piping hot/hot My friend ordered the chicken kabob but was accidentally given tandoori chicken, the tandoori chicken was not per their taste and overly smoked where the taste was like charcoal and we found out they were actually given the wrong dish and immediately got the right dish. The chicken kabob made with minced chicken tasted less Smokey and better than anything we had tried so far. Service was 5/5 All in all, it's a beautiful place and I see all 5 star reviews so I am confused as to why the food lacked the day we went but I think this was a one time trip for me, on to the next! read more

A charming neighborhood Middle Eastern spot with a cultural atmosphere. We ordered the chicken tikka and beef stew, both are flavorful. Initially, I was going to take off a star because our server didn't check on us until the owner came by and I asked for water. I was also a little bummed they didn't have Persian ice cream on the menu, but the owner, who was very kind--told us they do have it and just haven't updated the menu yet. He gave us a complimentary serving to try, which made the night for us. Service hiccup aside, the owner's generosity won us over. Came here with a party of 7. Love the ambiance of this place. It's so nicely decorated and cozy. The people are really nice. I did feel a little weird that our waitress was chewing gum as she was taking our order, but she was helpful and nice. Waters were always refilled at a good pace. I ordered the Parda Biryani. The rice is nicely seasoned, but the dish is just really really dry. I literally used alllll the sauce. I wish I had more space to keep on eating. Absolutely the best meal I've had in this area in a long time. We ordered baba ganoush as an appetizer, and it was perfectly Smokey and flavored. So this little gem is in a shopping plaza on Satellite Boulevard, sort of across the street from the Walmart on Lawrenceville - Suwanee Road and Satellite Boulevard. My friends and I went there on a weeknight. Our of them had gone there before with her family and told me it was a mix of foods of different regions from the Middle East. We gotta the Butter Shrimp, The Falafel, The Lentil Soup, Sesame Kulera, Mandi and The Nature Village Mixed Platter for 2. For dessert we split Tiramisu and Rice Pudding. We. each had a Karak Chai. The Butter Shrimp portion wasn't very big and we finished that first. It was delicious and had a good spice but didn't have much heat. The Falafel was fresh and was better than most places. The sauce that came with it was delish too. The Lentil Soup I wasn't a big fan of. To me, it didn't have much taste at all. The Sesame Kulera was so good - hot and fresh bread out of the "oven". The Mandi was half a chicken that was served over a bed of rice. With were red. and either we're tasty. The sauces that came with the plate helped though. Without the sauce I think the chicken might have been a little plain. The Nature Village Mix Grill for 2 is for 2 if you have a decent appetite. It came with several different kebabs, some waffle fries, spring rolls, chicken wings and rice. All the meats were pretty tender and delicious. The Tiramisu was yummy as was the Rice Pudding. The Karak Chai was also delicious. No real complaints about the food at all. The water they serve has a mix of Cucumber and Lemon in it so it is refreshing. The staff is friendly. I am not sure if it was management or the owner (might have been one and the same) made rounds to the tables to speak to the customers to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. He was knowledgeable about the food prep and was so happy we were enjoying his food. The decor is really nice inside and I was completely in love with all the colorful hanging lamps. Even the seating areas were colorful and decorated with pillows and very comfortable. I would definitely go back. There is plenty of parking, the food is delicious, the staff is nice and for those of you who need a Halal restaurant, it is Halal. I would say give it a go! read more

My friends and I stopped at this Mediterranean restaurant on our way back from Helen, GA, and it gave all the vibes from the food to the aesthetics and great customer service! Everything was delicious! The gentleman who was our hostess checked on us several times, and even blessed us with a rice pudding dessert at the end of our meal. The random search for us to find somewhere different to eat definitely paid off! A Royal Feast Tucked away in a small industrial-looking strip mall in Suwanee is Nature Village. The restaurant is convenient to I-85, about a ¼ mile past the Wal-Mart on Satellite Blvd. Nature Village offers a wonderfully diverse menu of halal Middle Eastern cuisine. From classic appetizer favorites like hummus and falafel to more hard-to-find Quzi (saffron rice with lamb), there is something to tantalize every taste bud. The boat pizza served as a dinner appetizer for us. We also ordered the Special Platter with three types of kababs, wings, borek, falafel, a whole lot more. Simply delicious and the platter was perfect for our social meal with friends. The masgouf (marinated fish) looks simply delicious and is the next menu item to try - it requires an order of a day in advance. The ingredients are clearly fresh and high-quality, and the portions are generous. The owner is a fantastic host and will take the time to explain the menu items and share some stories. Make a reservation...this is not a requirement but after watching several people get turned away for lack of seating and no reservation, it is highly recommended! The place is small but feels like you are sitting in Morocco. Service was excellent. I even observed the owner make accommodations for 4 people that drove from Smyrna, without a reservation. Walk inside and it's a completely different feeling from the outside - vibrant and colorful with cute booths and an amazing friendly staff. I recommend for date night or family lunch. The price may seem high but an entree will probably serve two people so SHARE!!! It's got a great communal feel to the place with the cozy booths and great food presentation!!!! One salad and one entree is probably good enough for two people. Chicken Tikka is one of my favorites because the chicken is grilled perfect. Chicken has nice char but moist in the middle. The veggies and rice complements it nicely. Perfect dish. The Qaliya is so good but get the naan on the side it gets wet from the stewed meat. And the naan is so so good here. The samoon is also excellent you can't go wrong with either but I love the naan. Kids portions are also pretty good size. The chicken tenders were really good definitely not like any other kids meal - the best ones I've had in a long time! If your kids are apprehensive about the food here then try the tenders. The baba ghanoush was refreshing and fresh so good. The beef borek was excellent the pastry wrapping was so well done. The food here is light and fresh - not heavy so you feel good even after you eat a lot of food! They just opened and setting the bar high. If you find indian/pakistani food too much to handle- please try this food. The spices are not overwhelming and meat flavor takes precedence. It's been about five months since we made the 1 hour drive over to our favorite restaurant, but we had a chance to go over the weekend and again, they did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing... maybe even better than we remembered! Since our last visit, we had an opportunity to travel the Middle East for a month and can honestly say Nature Village still has the absolute best Middle Eastern food. While we thoroughly enjoyed every meal we ate during our trip to Egypt, Jordan, Qatar and the UAE, we compared everything to the cuisine served here and Nature Village consistently came out on top as our favorite. This past weekend, we had the opportunity to try probably the best dessert I've ever had in my life. It is the baklava with saffron ice cream. Seriously... just order it when you're there as the flavors are amazing together. The waitstaff are all very kind and especially the owner who remembered us from our previous visits, was warm and welcoming and even gave us a big hug. Ooof! So so good. If you are wanting traditional Iraqi kebabs, this is the place to go to in Atlanta. It's in a strip mall in Suwanee, so when you drive up to the restaurant, it does not look like much. But once you enter you will see the mediterranean aspect in design, menu and ofcourse the food. Parking is pretty easy, so you can just drive up and park in front of the restaurant. Now, coming to the star of the show - the food! Oh so delicious. We were a large group of friends - 22 in total - so we possibly ordered everything off the menu. What stood out was the kebab platter and the mandi biriyani. This was genuinely the best middle eastern food I've ever had! And I've had my good share of different cuisines but this has got to be my top. The lamb had a very flavorful taste and it was extremely tender, making it easier to eat and enjoy the overall meal. I came here for my sister's birthday and she loved it so much that we're coming back next week! My little brother had the ribeye, and I've never had steak so tender before, it was so delicious. I had the lamb chops, cooked medium, and it was the best lamb chops I've ever had in my entire life. I'm not even exaggerating when I say this place is good, affordable, and very very nice.
