Sauce and great service gone to many other giro places and don't taste as good as this one

Food was fantastic! Delicious fresh Grecian salad w/chicken. There are other choices of meat. First time at this location since they moved from the corner of 78 and 124. This used to be the old Zaxbys location I called the order in since I'm on lunch break. Whoever answered the phone was very nice and explained they're at this location to prevent any confusion. I was advised no less than 10 min the order should be ready I arrived maybe 15 min after the call. The order was ready waiting for pick up. Total $12.75 .. 4 pieces of Pita bread is served with all salads Dining area is open concept whereas the Zaxbys had tables and booths. Casual setting (ambiance) . From what I understand they're closed on Sunday's It's about $6 cheaper than Mr Gyro and it's just as delicious. Salads are smaller and less meat. You may want to ask if there are larger salads. If you're on 78 looking for a good Greek salad or Greek food, stop by. I will be back! read more

This was such an authentic gyro. It was fresh, piping hot, and delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection and seasoned incredibly well. The gyro contained chicken that was juicy and cooked well along with tomato, tzatziki and other fresh ingredients. Overall so good! On top of the food being delicious, the service was quick and efficient. The woman at the front was sweet and allowed us to look over the menu without rushing me. The food took about 20 minutes to come out which is on the longer side of waiting but it was definitely worth it. read more

I didn't order myself from here but was given a gyro wrap and the potato wedges. Not sure about the price point either, review will primarily be over food This is a solid gyro that I haven't tasted for years. I've been to the Tucker location way back and it didn't taste this great. This location is doing something right, it's fresh, savory, perfectly spiced and fulfilling. I did minus a star because there's no lettuce or feta and cucumber in the tzseki (sp) sauce but maybe those aren't authentic? The potatoes tasted just like fresh potatoes cut up in slices and fried in spices with a salty-ish dipping cream sauce. Not even sure what the sauce is but looks like a Mayo, oregano, spiced based condiment. I probably wouldn't order this myself again but I'd order the gyro. I'd say it's worth a try if you're in the area! I also want to mention it was really fresh and was given to me earlier in the day around noon. Not sure how night time is. read more

We visited the Grecian Gyro & got the falafel plate which comes with salad & potatoes, an order of spanakopita, & the gyro hero loaded potatoes. I forgot to take a picture before we started eating. These pictures are minus a few bites! The atmosphere does seem like they do a lot of to go, but we were happy to sit inside & eat, also. Went here for 1st time and enjoyed my takeout so much went back next day. Has Greek salad w:gyro meet .

First visit and our ice cream came slow and melted. Ordered the peanut dipped cone and it was leaking when it was given to me and our Izzy frizzi was also melted. Had to hurry up and eat the cone in the car before I even left the parking lot as it was falling apart. Still might go back but next time if it's melted it's going back. Also, it's weird to ask for a tip before you even get your product. read more

Because they just opened I will give them a pass. When you first enter the establishment all the employees are very nice. They greet you as soon as you come inside. The order taker was also very nice and knowledgeable he tried to explain different items on the menu -we already knew what we wanted. They bring the food out to you to your table which was great and they seemed genuinely happy to serve you. The drawback was the quantity of food. My Gyro plate was full of lettuce ,didn't have many potatoes and the meat wasn't a large portion. The lettuce did not have hardly any dressing on it and I had to ask for additional tiziki sauce. I usually go to the one in Tucker and they load up the potatoes, the sauce and the meat. I am thinking because its new, maybe they don't know what the customers expect. Over all the food was flavorful and I did enjoy the meal but I won't come back anytime soon at least until I think they get the hang of it!! read more

I was in Snellville Ga and it was lunchtime I had a taste for a gyro and pulled up Yelp to find the nearest restaurant and boom here's where I decided. I went around 3pm it wasn't packed. I was greeted upon entering and offered a menu. I placed my order which was a Gyro with everything in it and Lamb was my choice of meat. I also ordered potato wedges and a water. Total came up to $12. I sat down for what felt like a minute and then my food was ready I really enjoyed the food and the service I will definitely be back to try their Greek salad Go check out my pics of this delicious foodie experience. read more

Just had lunch here. This was my 2nd visit to this location. I think my 1st experience was better. The food was fine (gyro wrap, slovaki wrap & Greek potatoes) but overpriced in my opinion. Also, they had just opened for the day but the store really needed a cleaning. The entire floor was sticky, the tables weren't wiped clean, & the small table beside the drink machine had rings of various liquid all over it. The worker was nice & she gave us a free baklava because my husband had never been there before. I don't think I'd return based on the dirty restaurant & the prices. *Forgot to add that the potatoes were barely warm & husband thought the pork was too chewy* read more

This was my first time here and I was happy to find a gyro place in my area. I wasn't disappointed although with some tweaking I think the gyro could have been even better. The seasoned potatoes were hot and fresh with a nice Greek seasoning on them and a white sauce for dipping. The same sauce however I think was used on the gyro and because of it I was missing an authentic tzatziki flavor usually found on gyros. Tzatziki is a yogurt base with grated cucumber, garlic, some lemon juice and a dash of some olive oil maybe. It's the acid balance against the fat of the meat that gives that nice tang and balance needed, I really missed it. Lettuce doesn't come on the sandwich, you have to ask for it. Again, a small tweak would make a difference in the sandwich. The lettuce and tomato were put on the bottom of the sandwich with the hot meat placed on top of them. That resulted in the lettuce and tomato completely wilting, losing that freshness against the meat and becoming a limp afterthought. The cool tzatziki with the crisp tomato and lettuce against the warm, yummy meat is what makes a gyro so unique. I'll be back, but I'm hoping they will revise their sauce to a more authentic version. And the potatoes were delicious! Very friendly staff too! read more
