Love this pool! Great prices, clean, and secure with lifeguards on staff. The deep end of the pool…read moregoes to 12 ft deep! Wish the pool had a bigger grassy area for patrons to lounge and sunbathe on towels and blankets. Disappointed that they didnt have proper shower and changing areas in the restrooms. All they had were toilet stalls in the womens restroom. The city only offers two outdoor rinse-off showers for everyone to use. They probably made it bare minimum like that for safety reasons.

After hitting Kitty Hollow…read morein Missouri City and Oyster Creek in Sugar Land, we decided to try to find Memorial Park in Sugar Land. Well, Siri had trouble finding Memorial Park. But she did point us to this one. It's an older neighborhood in Sugar Land and it looks like it's been there forever. But it's totally worth finding: - Well maintained bike/jogging trail that goes for a couple of miles - Skate park for the teenage boys in your family - Tennis - Baseball/Softball fields that are well maintained and used by the Little League - Sand Volleyball - A public pool The pool is pretty basic but it ranges from 3 to 12 feet and has 2 diving boards. It's also dirt cheap. Sugar Land residents pay $1 for kids under 18 before 5 and $2.25 for adults before 5, $0.50 for kids/$1.00 for adults after 5. Non residents can use the pool for a little more: $1.25 for kids under 18 and $2.85 for adults before 5, $0.65 for kids and $1.25 for adults after 5. We eventually found Memorial Park in a newer part of Sugar Land. But the pool at City Park is a good option for the summer if you don't have ready access to one in your neighborhood and the trails are well maintained. If your kids are into skateboards, the skate park has shade and looked pretty popular.

Although I had a few drinks, my partner and I chose to eat beforehand because we were unsure if food trucks would be available due to the holiday. The team at the bar was very friendly, providing great drink recommendations, and other staff members consistently came around to collect empty glasses, keeping the area tidy. We reserved a cabana, which was a great decision, especially when the rain came later in the day, as it kept us covered. There was plenty of seating available around the pool and in grassy shaded areas away from the pool. Bathrooms and showers were also accessible if you wanted to change clothes. One suggestion I would make is to have a more diverse music playlist. While the venue advertised that pop music would be played, it didn't always match the preferences of everyone there, especially given the diverse group of guests in attendance. Also, make sure to bring your ID; otherwise, you won't be allowed in. I had to make a trip back home to retrieve mine, even with a valid photo ID. If anyone managed to get in without an ID, please comment below and let me know! Overall, I would recommend this club.

Everybody seemed to have good energy and there was music playing as well. The servers were nice when we went to order our drinks. I will definitely come back again if I were visiting Houston. If you are looking to swim, this would probably not be the best place. This is more so a hang out swim club. They also have cabanas to rent, but the chairs and hammocks are free of charge and first come first serve.

I was searching for a location for my birthday celebration at the turn of new year. Instead, I found a Sunday brunch location. I think I'll bring my friends over to enjoy the show one Sunday morning. If it was summer, I'd come next day to take a soak in the pristine pool. Unfortunately, it was freaking cold in Houston in January. I stayed at the bar instead. I can't wait to come back in the summer.

i absolutely love that there is a queer beach club in the city!…read more the staff is friendly, the space is clean, the food and drinks were meh. the crawfish egg rolls tasted like the crawfish needed to be cleaned and the wrap was rather messy. rating fries is absolutely silly, so i will not. the drinks definitely could've been a little stronger when i visited, me and a friend rented a cabana. it was a pretty slow day.. so it wasn't crowded at all. now, allow me to explain this : a cabana is $250/day rental in addition to the day rental, patrons are expected to spend a minimum of $250 regardless of how many ppl are in your party. i am highlighting this because when we checked in, the host did not explicitly explain this very important detail. luckily my friend and i were there for a long time so racked up a significant tab without knowing the fine print. but we still were unable to meet that $250 min. spend. however, because of the miscommunication, the manager assured us that we were ok, and we were just $80 under the min. spend. they were really friendly about the process. but to avoid any confusion, next time i will just opt for a day bed. a major plus; there is usually a dj! i love a live set! also.. dont forget about their drag brunch on sundays! xx
