    I'ver been renting from CMA for almost two years. The firsyt year was ok, no problems to fix. This…read moresecond year I'm learning different. i'm having problems with the gararge door not working. They send a tech out, he fiddles with it a bit and it works great until the next morning. A couple of the techs told me the unit needs to be replaced. I've been dealing with this since early September. The last tech cmae out, rigged the thing to work temporarily and told me it needs to be replaced. Next morning, sure enough it didn't work. I called the office and the new lady in charge of maintenance practically accuses me of sabotaging the unit! She said, "the tech says it was working fine when he left." I said, "sure, it works fine until the next day then quits altogether. She says the tech told her it didn't need to be replaced. So, the company they use to fix these things is lying to them and to me. It makes no sense, why would I want the thing to not work? And why would I keep calling if the thing worked? These people are frustrating and don't give a damn about the tenants. Anyway, she says she will get ahold of the owner to see "if" they will fix the door. If? You would think the owner would want their property properly maintained, but CMA fudges in the owners behalf. Of course, all the owners are giving them a great review here. Why wouldn't they? They're saving money off of repairs and the tenantsd are the ones who are suffering! I'ts now been another tweo weeks and I've heard nothing back. I'm wondering if I can break the lease because the garage was one ogf the main features that I wanted and now I can't use it properly.

When you call their phone number, you're prompted to press an option to either speak with someone or leave a message--but instead of actually connecting you, the recording just loops over and over again. No matter what option you choose, you end up right back where you started. If this is how they handle communication with potential tenants, I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for current renters trying to reach them for important issues. Very disappointing experience and a RED FLAG! In addition, I was asked to pay $60 for an application so I could be approved to tour a property for rent!! WHAT A SCAM!

    We signed with Lee because he was local and promised to work for us. We followed his…read morerecommendation regarding pricing though I felt that it was too high. After 45 days of few showings only by agents in his office, I told him to drop it. I didn't know that his girlfriend was interested in the property. Coincidentally, when another offer came in, it got delayed due to an internet technicality and his girlfriend put in an offer $25,000 higher. The closing was for 10 days and a cash offer with no inspection. The buyer and my broker (a couple) did a one hour walk through the day after we accepted the offer and were not concerned about any issues that we pointed out, including a well that had produced only 100 gallons a day since being drilled in 2016. We had no correspondence for 8 days from the buyer. After we signed the closing papers, the buyer then changed the offer, reducing it by $25,000, the same price as the other potential buyer! The broker, buyer, and my agent all claimed that the buyer had no knowledge of the other offer. They claimed that the well was an issue even though they had been made aware of that at the signing of the listing contract 90 days earlier. I think coincidences happen but there were too many this time. Lee was also touted as a strong Christian , but you be the judge. I cannot suggest more strongly against using Code of the West.
