Mike came to rekey my new home and his service and professionalism was 5 stars across the board. I had the rekey service done thru my home warranty service, but he explained to me that the service he was doing would normally cost 99$ including service call. I asked locksmith 4 less for a quote prior to contacting Realty Rekey and they wanted 1200$ to rekey 4 locks! I'm not sure what happened to these guys, who appear to have good reviews and literally use the slogan "trust is key." There is nothing trustworthy about this company. Their phone number always goes to voicemail, their email address is literally defunct (bounces back), and they stood us up for our 4-hour window appointment after being assigned by Fidelity National Home Warranty. Why does Fidelity contract with a company that cares so little about its customers? Incredibly disappointing, absolutely avoid hiring this company at all costs. read more

Scheduled through my home warranty, there was no option for a broken doorknob, so I scheduled a rekey. I didn't know what to expect and if it was covered. I paid another $85 for a brand new knob and deadbolt. He had it with him, took only 5 minutes. Very happy I no longer have to open the door with a butter knife. Nick came to complete our work order even though it was past the scheduled time window due to circumstances beyond his control. We needed to have our front door, side door, and garage door rekeyed, and he was able to get them switched out very quickly! Awful experience. This service came with the home warranty so I wish I had read about them before. It took them 2 weeks to get a time for the rekey appointment. The technician never rang the door (even though I spoke with him and told him was in the house). He didn't pick up the phone even after I confirmed the person was there. When I reached out to customer service they assured me I should wait because he was on his way, I called them one more time to double check and still assured me he was on his way. They guy never showed up. I called again later at night (after a 4 hour window they give you) and told me they were going to call to reschedule. Five days after that, they did not only call me back but they said they had already closed the request and there is nothing they can do. I just called another company and they offer to be there in 30 minutes! Overall terrible service. Never again. read more
