It's been over 2 years (yes TWO) and this is my pool! We call. We text. We have paid. We get "we have you scheduled for next week". Then next week comes and goes... we wait. We were supposed to be done April 2023. I have photos of the progress and all text communication between multiple employees. We are on our third project manager and his response is no different. "The guy before me quit but we have you scheduled for next week". We have done all necessary requirements that were expected on our part. Finished yard, concrete perimeter, cover, spa cover, etc. the list goes on and on. If you want to never swim in an actual pool and look at a dirt/moss filled "pond" in your backyard I would say go ahead and call them. Note: we paid and contracted in March 2021! Here are photos from May 2022 and now June 2023... I have a beautiful backyard with a nasty dirty hole. They had promised we'd be done by May. We have been waiting on "plaster" since May 1st. I get it. It has rained a lot this spring, I get that, but at this point you'd think custom service wise we'd be first on their list. I will GLADLY update my review if and when my pool is completed with a final picture.* I'd also like to add they were supposed to dig it October 2021 and dug it May 2022... WORST business interaction I've ever had. They have so many pools to build, 68 they told me, that they don't need your business. They were: - Condescending - Arrogant - Rude - Demeaning - Unprofessional I don't recommend anyone get into a pool building process with them because it's terrible. AVOID, AVOID AVOID...AT ALL COST! The most unethical and dishonest contractor I have ever come in contact with. I am President of a 41 year old construction company and know construction. We wanted to build a pool for our new home we are building and when we were delayed a couple weeks due to weather holding up our project Seth's Dad Randy decided to step in and overrides Seth's commitments and demands a cost adjustment change order of over 8%. Claiming increases in cost. This when we as a General Contractor have seen a 5% decrease in rebar and 2-3% in concrete. Main materials used in pool construction. They tried to bully me into the increase. I realized how unethical they are and canceled the contract and found a reputable pool guy who should have our pool finished in a month. I would avoid this company at all cost. I am embarrassed they are in my industry. Truly are why contractors have a bad reputation. Extremely unethical. Instead of walking away with the deposit, they decided to also cancel the permit with the county that had been approved and I had paid them for. I had already had the permit assigned to the new contractor. Luckily the city worked with us to not delay the project. I have held off writing this review in the hopes Reardon would do the right thing. Our pool and spa is less than a year old. The plaster finish in the pool looks terrible with multiple large mottled areas, discolorations and even boot prints that have been there from the beginning. Both the pool and spa cover are damaged from scraping on the underside of the structural bridge. These are clearly due to their construction defects. For each defect they come up with different excuses why it was my fault. I have an Intellichem system that has consistently maintained the pool chemistry properly balanced, a Dolphin pool cleaner that runs regularly, and I always keep the covers closed when the pool and spa are not in use (for safety reasons with many young kids in the neighborhood). Reardon actually said the boot prints in the plaster were left because I didn't brush the pool enough. Now I know why they INSISTED on being paid in full the day the plaster was finished, before I was able to get in the pool and see all these defects. After many attempts to have Reardon repair these construction defects to no avail, I have started the process under Colorado's Construction Defect law to take them to Court to get some resolution. It will not surprise me if Reardon responds to this post, continuing to blame me for their defective work. read more

AVOID AT ALL COST! From day one, Reardon has been a nightmare to deal with. Their salesman, Mike, overpromised and under delivered on all aspects just to get the contract signed. Starting with excavation, half way through, with a huge crater in my yard, they wanted to renegotiate the excavation price and material volume to be removed. Even after we paid extra to have the original agreed upon amount removed, they still did not excavate as requested. My wife and I actually took up pick ax, shovel and jack hammer and removed another 40 yards of material by hand ourselves, so that the project would be completed properly! While I did expect some damage to my yard due to heavy equipment, they completely destroyed the front lawn and almost killed a tree. The entire lawn now needs to be replaced. Very sloppy work. The pool build itself seemed to go smooth...until... The pool coping was done in the wrong color and Reardon refused to fix until I was able to provide photo proof of our color selection. The salesman had written the wrong color down. Rather than simply fix the problem and move on, the owner, Randy, decided to bring us into the office for a dress down and hissy fit. He threatened to walk off the job before completion. Remember, his people screwed up, not us; the client. We had to go round and round with debate and arguments to get resolved. Only after we "bent the knee" did he agree to finish the project. The instruction on how to run and maintain equipment and water chemistry was quite lacking and consisted of a handful of equipment manuals and a 30 min verbal run through by one of their employees. We were left twisting in the wind, literally. Follow up service or customer care has been non existent. Their service techs do not call or text back, simply give you the run around. And nobody seems to know anything or be able to answer a question. They provided ZERO help with winterization and to date no help with start up. Overall, pool fit and finish are poor, non of the parts are standard size (skimmers and return lines) making winterization a unique challenge. The pool has settled/sunk quite a bit and even the switch to the auto-cover was faulty. I ended up replacing that myself rather than deal with them. And finally, opening this spring I notice the blue pool surface flaking off to expose bare concrete. Awesome. My wife and I have had to become our own pool techs, equipment experts and water chemists in the mean time. HORRIBLE...DO NOT USE. Con artists! read more

Nice pool. Terrible customer service. They could care less if they destroy your yard. Cost about $5000 to repair all the damage done by their trucks which is tough to swallow after spending way over $100K. They used particle board to try to protect these areas. I don't consider that to be a satisfactory attempt at protection when they were driving large dump trucks over it. Some steel plates would have done a better job. Months later we discovered electrical damage that an electrician can only blame on digging tools. The only dig done near that area was done by PASE. They were totally unsympathetic and blamed it on random chance. The foreman NEVER calls you back. I would be ok with some understanding and meeting us halfway, but take it seriously when they say they will trash your yard and chuckle about it in the same breath. read more
