I cannot say enough good things about this company. Our pool installer gave us a shotty heater that continually failed when we needed it most - during freezing winter temps - so we had Tony's install a new pool heater for us. They were efficient, priced fairly, and got us up and running quickly. We've had the heater a year now and it's still quiet as can be and has not had ONE single problem since it was installed. No more stressing over frozen pool pipes. I am so thankful to Tony's and the peace of mind they provided us where our installer failed. Very rude and unprofessional. Scheduled a pool opening months ago, knowing they get booked up and chose between two dates they gave us, then one day before the opening date they claim to not have it on the schedule. On top of it, literally yelling at my wife when she said that was poor service. Their only solution was to schedule us in two months later! Also left Tony several messages for a few weeks to ask about some other items they were supposed to get back to us on, but never did. Secretary at the office just hung up when explaining our lack of appreciation for the poor service. Avoid at all costs and switch while you can. These guys definitely need some more competition and anyone with half decent customer service could basically take over their entire customer base with very little effort. read more

We inherited using this company when we purchased our home. Before escrow closed, we were able to have inspections done. Tony came to the house, went through all of the pool equipment throughly with my husband and said everything was in perfect working order, and would send us the written report. Tony has been servicing this pool for years. Less than one week after we moved in, something went wrong with one of the pool pumps so my husband called Tony , he came out and within five minutes said " oh this pump is shot it's got to be replaced ". 0ver $900 later, and, still had not received the written report, we felt like our hands were tied. We have just relocated here didn't know anyone didn't have any referrals or recommendations. We chalked it up to sometimes things happen and went from there . It never got better in fact it went downhill from there despite our many chances that we gave them to make things right . In one instance they said that they had performed work for the previous owner two weeks before we moved in and when we looked at this specific part it was obvious it had not been touched in several months if not longer . His own pool guy texted him the pictures while they were at our house . When I asked the young man what Tony said he wouldn't say . Yet they billed us an additional two hours of labor of which they did nothing but said they had done it before . Where I come from that's just not the right thing to say or do . Tony himself said he would fix it.......that was over 5 weeks ago and he hasn't stepped foot here nor called back to speak with my husband. At one point, my husband told Tony that I wasn't very pleased with the service and that he should make a point of speaking with me . Tony assured my husband that he would come to the house and talk to me face-to-face . That was at least 3-4 weeks ago and he hasn't shown up yet. After them servicing our pool for about a month my husband called Tony and asked him to send us copies of the bill as they were charging our credit card but we had not seen any type of invoice or summary. Once again nothing ever happened no phone calls no emails nothing in the mail so I called the office and spoke with Laura his wife , she assured me she had mailed them to me yet we have never received them . I then asked her to just scan and email them, to which she said "I'll have to have Tony carbon copy you ". What year is this again? Sorry, that was snarky. I had to call again the next week as I had not received them. They always have an excuse, "we just got a new phone system", "we can't control our pool guys". Enough already. And....I'm still waiting on the remaining invoices. I have called the office on several occasions and when I do actually get to speak with a human, they are NOT very nice, they are definately not customer service oriented. When we called to cancel our service with him as we're we're very unhappy with the very poor quality of the service and staff, Tony said "I have over 400 pools, I can't hold everybody's hand ". I filled out the company's contact form, received an e-mail wanting to know where I was located in the city I lived. I responded back and never heard another word from either the company or the author of the e-mail sent to me. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Tony's pool service is the best service we have found in Denver. We have had them winterize our pool and spa a number of years now. This past year we had them replace our Coverstar pool and spa covers and they did a fantastic job. We have never had an issue with their service. One year, I had an issue with a pump and Tony took me calls several times to help me isolate a pump issue on our pool and was extremely helpful in the process. I would recommend them and we will continue to use Tony's pool service. read more

Absolutely do not use this company to service your pool. We were referred to them by the previous owners of our house and have been sorely disappointed. The company will charge outrageous amounts of money for items they fail to perform, pad their labor hours, and do not perform to any type of standard. They lack communication, professionalism, and any customer service. I WOULD NOT recommend them for any service: routine cleanings, opening/closing, or any type of repairs. read more

Had Tony's Pool Service come out and inspect a pool that was on a property we are purchasing. He was able to get there quickly and did a great job explaining the equipment and suggested some repairs to be made for safety and function of the pool. Tony is a super nice guy seemed to really know his business. I would use him again in a heartbeat. read more

So disappointed. Initially I was very impressed, they came out the same day I called for a repair of my pool pump leaking. Neal came out and was very nice and professional and supposedly fixed my problem. The "glue" had to dry so he said not to turn on the pump for a few hours. When I did finally turn on the pump, water was squirting out of one of the replaced pipes. I called for him to come out and fix it and they said they would try but they are backed up. About 3 days later they came out and he said it just needed to be tightened. In the mean time, my pool heater was not firing up, the pilot light was on but would not ignite the burners. Neal took a look at it and said it was the thermocoupler. He replaced that and it fired up while he was here but after leaving it went out at some point. I called him back he came back a few days later and was here for about 15 minutes and he said it fired up when he opened the cover. That was the last time it worked. I have tried to trouble shoot it myself and I read that the thermocoupler may be the problem if the pilot light was out-which it wasn't. So now I am left with the impression of poor service. In the mean time I got a $379 bill for replacing the thermocoupler (a $15 part) that was in addition to the $200 bill for the pump leak which seemed to take him more then double the time. I do not even want to call them back as I do not want another charge for a service call and time that does not fix the problem. read more

I was disappointed with Tony's Pool Service. My hot tub had a slow leak and so I called this company to check it out. They initially quoted me $225 to fix the leak. I gave them permission to fix the leak at that price. However, after they fixed the leak, I received a phone call and was told that I had to pay $336 instead. Come to find out, they didn't even perform a thorough investigation of my hot tub. My hot tub still leaks and they want to charge me $90/hour to remove foam in order to find the leak--the leak that I had to point out to them. Not sure how good this company is when it comes to pool service, but I'd recommend using somebody else to service your hot tub. Their poor business practices have cost them a repeat customer and somebody who will not only deter people from using their service, but will also speak poorly of them in the future. I just don't want others to be hoodwinked like I was. read more
