I wasn't upset because mistakes happen, but when I came back in to address this issue, they wanted me to pay for the service. They claim that it was coincidence, but the trauma site would not have gotten infected if they had not inflicted that trauma on me in the first place. I had a few cavities filled here and Dr. DeRose offered to fill in a slightly misshapen area on an otherwise healthy tooth that I expressed concern about - but it did not NEED work. There is a tiny hole in this filling that catches debris that I can't properly clean. Dr. DeRose's work created a new issue for me and wants me to pay to correct it because the initial faulty work on that tooth was done for free. They wouldn't discuss it logically, but rather kept repeating "he did you a FAVOR!" Which, yes he did, and I really appreciated that! However this favor created a new problem that I didn't have before. When asked, they said they'd correct it for free *had I paid for the initial service.* So evidently he does not accept accountability for work he doesn't bill - trapping me to be financially accountable to fix his "favor." They kept accusing me of just wanting free work, which is not the case. I've paid hundreds of dollars to them for their services no problem. I just don't think I should have to pay them hundreds more to fix the issues THEY created. I would not recommend this place to anybody because of the damaging service and insulting demeanor in which I was treated when trying to resolve these matters.

I don't like that they charge more for cleaning services than Delta Dental allows but all else. Is top notch. I've been to other Portage dentist that not only try and talk you into unnecessary treatments to pad their income and Doc Kip and all the staff have a positive, welcoming, and listening level of engagement. In Portage I dealt with arrogant self important Dentist that thought all others were beneath him and not entitled to ask questions. Kip invites the conversation and you will also learn a little about his family too. Highly recommend.

Dr. Etheridge is the most skillful and caring dentist I have ever met. If there is one thing I am petrified of, it's dentists! But...he made me feel safe and did his utmost to perform the necessary dental work pain free. His staff are absolutely wonderful. I had an emergency and they worked me into his extremely busy schedule and never made me feel as if I were a problem. So yes, I highly recommend Dr. Etheridge and his great staff.

I went there, they took copies of my BCBS card... no one in the office said a thing! Don't use this dentist! They will overcharge you the first chance they can get. Lobby only had old people in it... I proceeded to have the work done and have had pain ever since in the areas she "fixed" One crown popped off within a month and she put it back on and it had fallen off because she hadnt made sure the bite fit together properly. I have contined to have pain for two years and went to a new dentist today. All nine of the areas she had done have to be redone because they were done improperly. Because these teeth had already been done once my insurance will not pay to have the work redone and fixed so I am out a couple thousand of dollars.

My insurance company sent them 2 checks $500.00, they sent them back to the insurance company for no reason. Not fond of the dentist at all. Moving on!
