After they used it all.(thank you God) & Yes 5 years later, I'm still stunned by my experience here. However the blessing is. I love my new dentist & for less money then they quoted me, for doing work that wasn't necessary, I love my smile and my new dentist. I was able to get some cosmetic work done , for less than I was quoted here for work that apparently didn't need to be done. Thank you for sending me off to find a good dentist! I'm gonna give them 1 star for that reason.

I ageed and she verified my insurance. Then 2 days before the appointment some one else calls me from there to tell me that my insurance would not cover the Premier dentist. So I was forced to cancel my appointment. I have not been able to get a dental appointment in 3 years in Kalamazoo.

I don't like that they charge more for cleaning services than Delta Dental allows but all else. Is top notch. I've been to other Portage dentist that not only try and talk you into unnecessary treatments to pad their income and Doc Kip and all the staff have a positive, welcoming, and listening level of engagement. In Portage I dealt with arrogant self important Dentist that thought all others were beneath him and not entitled to ask questions. Kip invites the conversation and you will also learn a little about his family too. Highly recommend.

I called and got an appt. within a couple days. I saw Dr. Mallory who was new to me. He looked at my bridge and my mouth. He determined my bridge was broken and could not be cemented back on. His treatment plan was almost $6,000 out of pocket. I got a second d opinion from another dentist who said the bridge was not broken and cemented it back on. There was no charge because insurance covered it. Needless to say, I have found a new dentist and will not be returning to Drake Dental.

In short, her way or the highway. On May 27th, during my regular cleaning services, a small cavity was found by the hygienist and later confirmed after a full mouth X-ray evaluation. Before the X-ray, I was assured that the procedure was necessary and fully covered by my dental insurance. I asked about that not once by twice to make sure my understanding was correct. A surprise came when I was presented with a bill and additional payments. It turned out that four different X-ray pictures were taken but only two were fully covered. A greater surprise came when I wanted to scheduled an appointment to get a needed filing for the tooth with cavity. I was informed that I must take a panoramic X-ray, required every 3 years (?) and pay for that in full before I could get any new service, including the now very much needed filling. There was no way to negotiate to get the filling now and, possibly, the panoramic X-ray before my new October scheduled cleaning. I was denided that which I find very unethical, unprofessional and very wrong. I have to quickly find a new dentist to get very much needed filling now when my cavity keeps deteriorating.

They are even doing a promotion right now that if they like their Facebook they will give you a free fluoride treatment!! The dental hygienists are very friendly and kind! They will work with you to do what is best for you and at an affordable cost! They talk to you but don't ask you a ton of questions while they have tools in your month. The dentists are nice and quick! Don't prolong your visit by making your wait. They are kind and give you a lot of positive feedback instead of critiquing you. There is a tv and radio for you to pay attention to if you want. And every room feels pretty secluded, so you don't need feel as vulnerable as at other dentist offices I have been to. Thinking it might be dental-related, I started calling around trying to find help. Since I'm not a full-time resident in the area, I needed a practice willing to take on a new patient in an emergency situation. After several calls and multiple offices turning me away, Centre Smile Dental said, "Of course -- come in now." From the moment I walked into the Paw Paw location, I was welcomed with smiles and compassion. I filled out paperwork, had X-rays done, and before I knew it, after thorough consultation with Doctor Joseph, I had two teeth extracted due to a severe infection. People don't realize how dangerous a mouth infection can become if left untreated -- it can spread to the bloodstream or even the brain. Within 20 minutes of the extractions, I already started feeling relief. I'm incredibly appreciative that Centre Smile Dental was willing to see me on such short notice, especially right before a holiday weekend and being an out of towner. When I went in there she came up with a plan that would help me get things fixed but wouldn't dent my pocket. She gets to know you as the patient in a way that's like you're at the hair salon. The front desk lady, Olivia is absolutely amazing I've asked her to print things and questions that may be hard to answer and she gives me an answer with a smile on her face. All the front desk ladies do. The hygienists and the dental assistants are absolutely amazing as well. I got over my fear of dentists and needles in my mouth because of this place and the amazing people who are employed here. I definitely recommend coming here.
