We felt this was the most important vendor to make sure was right for us since depending on your photos, that's the best way you can make those memories and details you put into planning and those wonderful emotions last forever for future generations to see. I have always really had an appreciation for great photography and photographers and I can not tell you how long I have researched during wedding planning to find my favorite photographer in Chicago! It was a hard and overwhelming task because there are a lot of talented ones in Chicago. No one matched her quality for her price, in my opinion, and her artistic eye combined with the gorgeous and striking way she makes black and white photos look and color photos so beautifully vivid made me sure she was the right choice for us! We've received so many compliments on our wedding photos. People have been saying, "You have the BEST wedding photos!!" and so on, and each photo she gave us really is a beautiful work of art. I love her eye for design and color. As an Artist myself, I really can appreciate her extreme and unique talent. We have absolutely no regrets, and felt so lucky that we got to work with Theresa! We'd do it again in a heartbeat. She was also easy to get a hold of, very thoughtful, sweet and very professional. She made everyone, including my young nieces and nephews, feel at ease around her. She was gracefully non intrusive throughout the whole day and night but whenever we needed her she was right there. One more thing I want to add is that she's excellent at taking charge/giving direction to groups and for photo shoots without being too bossy or anything! It was great so we didn't have to feel confused about how to pose or where to take photos. She definitely knows what she's doing!! We felt very taken care of. It is many years later and I can honestly say she ruined our wedding. I have zero pictures of the…read morering bearer , many guests and family members who escorted people in church. We had to pay to retake our photos at Holy Name and the Drake. She claimed the church told her she couldn't take pictures. They said it wasn't true. I had special monogrammed desserts at our rehearsal dinner and we got zero pictures of the monograms. Many of my friends had videos or images where she was just standing around. It's honestly very sad because it was the most important day of our lives. She refused to refund us and then was mad so didn't give us a wedding album. We did, however, like how our wedding video. In all three of our events, Millicent displayed a strong passion and vision through her creativity and organizational and professional skills. For the most part, we provided her with our own ideas and locations. In areas where we needed suggestions, she was quick to provide and improvise. We provided a general schedule for our events to ensure we do not go overtime. Millicent was on top of the schedule and did not rush the process even when we went slightly overtime with the engagement photo shoot due to the gloomy, rainy weather and busy weekend traffic.
