So we came here as a family. There were about seven of us. We were greeted at the door. We sat in the area where they were doing karaoke. Overall, we had a good time. It was fun. The music was good. The food was good. Drinks were good. Our waiter there was great. We did not have issues with him. Now, what happened afterward was the big problem. I spoke to the waiter, and mine knew our bill was over $400, so I spoke to him, and I noticed that they were going to charge us an extra $30 or so because we were paying with a credit card. I politely ask that I'm not gonna be paying for their credit card fees, that's on them with their financial tuition. The manager came up and said, " Well, we can't do anything. You have to pay for it unless you have cash, then it'll be a lower price. I continue to tell the manager that's not right. If you want customers to accept your fees, you should increase food prices. We were gonna pay it anyway, but then another waiter came in and gave his two cents and started explaining that it was our banks that were doing it, and I told him no, it's not. I told him I worked for a bank and I know how it works. He kept arguing with me. I knew the manager didn't say anything as that waiter walked away. I was still dealing with the manager, and then that one waiter who had butt in called my mom and my aunt stupid ladies. Still, he said it in Spanish, which I know. I started arguing with that waiter, telling him, "You do not say that stuff to my mom." He continued to say negative things about my family. As this was happening, the manager was still not doing anything. Overall, we had a good experience until the end. I don't think we'll go back to this location unless they retrain their employees. Everything that was said and done is unforgivable, so if you wanna visit this restaurant, great, just be mindful that they have some employees that are very rude and ugly, and that the manager wouldn't do anything anyway. Food was over priced and did not taste very good and service was bad. The fajitas taste like they were bold and not cooked over a fire grill. The fish tasted like it was old fish and the cabrito had a lot of skin and very little meat. I will not be going back. read more

We had a great lunch at Rebecca's. We ordered the cabrito and it was delicious. Meat was so moist and well cooked. It came with boracho beans, grilled onions, chile toriado and tortillas.The boracho beans were so good too and the price is what will be bringing us back for more. It was only $38 dollars per plate. Had seen this restaurant a few times when in the area and hadn't had a chance to stop by, however today was the perfect opportunity as I had time to waste. Upon walking in I was greeted promptly and sat with a breakfast menu, the selection is not extravagant but gives you decent options for a fair price. I decided on a barbacoa taco which I was just expecting a taco on a plate however it came with all the sides and also a bowl of beans that were very flavorful and the perfect compliment to the barbacoa taco. I am also impressed with the attentiveness from the staff and waiters and would definitely return at a future date to try the dinner menu. I recommend giving it a try. read more

Came here for my stepdad's Birthday thinking it was still Cabritos Nuevo Leon but, unfortunately it isn't. Noticed the outside sign said they had Cabritos so we stayed. I wish we hadn't. As we first walked in we were quickly seated as there were maybe only two tables there & we were only a party of 4. I had brought a birthday cake but, they didn't even offer to take it to the back & put it in the refrigerator until we were ready for it after our dinner. Our waiter was fairly attentive & somewhat friendly but, customer service in general from everyone (including owners & management just standing around/laughing in the front) failed to make a good impression on us. The food lacked flavor & is way overpriced! To start we ordered large guacamole (it was 3 small scoops) & choriqueso (not sizzling & extremely oily more than usual that it actually made me a little nauseous). They are very stingy w/the tortillas, they only brought us 2 flour & 2 corn (for both appetizers). We ordered more corn (they brought 2 at a time) and in the end found out they charged us 75¢ each tortilla! The salsas are not spicy, the charro beans taste like they're from a can & I had to add sweetener to my "sweet" tea. The pork chops are really thin & the cabrito had no flavor. All of our plates came w/a scoop of guacamole, had I known that I wouldn't have ordered the $12 appetizer. I Paid $140 for a Birthday meal that completely lacked! As for my pics...they may look pretty but, NOPE NOT WORTH IT!!! The only nice part was that they had a musician on keyboards who sang Las Mañanitas & Happy Birthday to my stepdad. Food was very bland and dry. Very small portions for a botana that was made for 4 people.

Love this place. Their caldo de res is the best in the city. And their pozole, machacado and pappa/chorizó are the bomb. Most importantly, they are timely and package food to go like champs. read more

Decided to try this place out. We noticed there wasn't a lot of people so decided to stay. We were quickly seated and were given our drinks, chips and salsa. As we skimmed through the menu I noticed that a lot of items were pricey. As we ordered our server brought us beans a la charra. Sad to say they tasted as if they were going bad and ended up leaving it there. Turns out they are the ones that decide if you should have charro beans or refried beans. Our family ordered three different plates. And after waiting over 45 minutes for our food we were ready to leave. As our food finally arrived and we had our first bite. I was like hmmm... this food has no flavor. The rice was pale and had no flavor. I don't believe this place knows about spices or salt or pepper.
