There was a couple waiting to be seated before us - we waited a good 10 minutes before the host ever showed up. When he did, he strolled up with no sense of urgency and give the people before us their menu and pointed to where they could go sit themselves down. He motioned for us to go to a different part of the restaurant and shook my head. When we got to the table he said, " Is there something wrong?". I responded with, " yeah, the lack of urgency on your end". He proceeds to tell me the protocol for sitting people . He starts to raise his voice and I let him know that i get it, i understand how it works and he cuts me off and says, " no you don't, no you don't" turning this into an argument.
