I have heard mix reviews from this taqueria and decided to try it for myself. To begin with the floor is SUPER SUPER SLIPPERY!!! Be very careful!!!! I'm not sure if it's because they are super busy all the time that the floor cannot get properly cleaned or the cleaning supplies that they use make the floor slippery. Service is a bit slow. The menu is very simple and to the point. You are able to pick the style of tortilla you would want which is a good thing. I ordered corn bistec tacos on a double tortilla and OMG it's like if I ordered 10 tacos you are able to make two tacos out of one taco since they serve the tacos full of meat. The flavor in my opinion is a mixture of blandness and burned onion taste. The tacos come with a side of grilled onions but they are dripping in oil. The meat is not grilled which gives it a different flavor. Personally I do not recommend these tacos. read more

Food was delicious but the overall experience was a nightmare. We made our order to go since we we're in the middle of the Texas winter storm. We figured get our order to go and then go get a hotel room since we lost power at home. It took us hours to find a hotel room since everyone was scrambling to find a room. So after 3 hours later after he picked up or order, we get into our room and start eating. Immediately I chewed into my order of tacos when I find a piece of glove in my taco. I chew it and almost choked on it. We ordered two orders of tacos and a loaded potato with carne asada. After finding the piece of glove in my food, we got disgusted and immediately stopped eating. I called the restaurant to inform them of my finding and they made it seemed like I was lying because "I took long to call them". I explained why it took long to call. They asked for proof via a picture. I text them the picture with the piece of glove and they said they will give me credit for my order. I live 50 minutes away and it took me 2 weeks to go claim my credit. I get there and they tell me that they are only crediting my tacos. I explained to them that we immediately stopped eating after the experience. I didn't argue and just paid for the rest of my order. I'm very disappointed of how things were handled. These tacos taste better when you are drunk at 1 in the morning after too much dancing. Sober...well not so much. They were greasy. Not oily greasy but thick lard greasy. There was plenty of meat but not flavor. Bland. Even after adding the green salsa and lime..it just wasn't helping. I ate it because I was hungry and decided to eat the beans after. They were worse. This is my favorite Taco Joint in town!!!! I can't believe how delicious and huge the portions are. The best part is the simplicity of the menu. Tacos are available in corn (5) or flour (4) with your choice of bistek, tripa or "mixta" (mixed)....grilled onions and cilantro. Also available are tortas and papas asadas with your choice of meat which are gigantic by the way. The taste of these tacos are as authentic as tacos I've had in Rio Bravo, México for example. Tortillas are doubled per taco so you get 10 tortillas in total. Your tacos are so stuffed with meat that I separated the extra tortillas and made ten generously filled tacos for an enjoyment I can't describe in words.... I personally recommend the "Mixta" choice of meat because the "tripa" taste is a must in my tacos and their "tripa" is the best around these lands. I got a papa which I was I excited for because it was gigantic but even the cheese they used for it was low quality. The meat the use for the tacos is bistek and it's good meat very soft but it's tasteless. I wanted to try everything so I got tacos a potato and a hot dog and to make a long story short I only ate the hot dog. The portions are very big which to the eye it's appealing but food has no taste I do not recommend this place if you truly know about Mexican food and tacos. First off, this place is good- at times. It's really filling. I would share an order of tacos with my mom, and the potato, and we would even take some potato home. When this place is good, it's good. But lately it's been a mess. The potato was so damn buttery, it looked like oily, yellow soup; it was even falling to the side of the plate. So unprofessional, and that she would call me back, not the owner the worker (It's been a good 45 min and they closed at 2:30 am and I still haven't received a call back) So disgusted at this, completely unsanitary I can't imagine all the other scenarios that could have happened. What if it would have been a child eating this and they choked and died! Would they have just said to get the money back! Completely unprofessional of them and I am reporting them tomorrow! This taco place has terrible customer service. Me and my wife ordered over the phone to arrive to an order that hadn't even been placed waited almost 45 minutes to receive our food. The salsa had the taste of freezer burnt food. The tripa was way to over cooked and to top it off it was as if I dipped my taco in oil. They brought the tacos but took a long time to bring the lemon and salsas, and even more to bring the drinks. On their page they show that the tacos are very well serve but now on this location they must have change the taquero because now they are very poor.
