This stay was unbelievable. After only two days there, my father fell and laid on the floor of the bathroom for at least 45 min. Had my aunt not come and discovered he was in the bathroom, who knows how much longer her would have been there. They say he never pressed his call button; but his roommate tried to get him help as well since he had been gone so long. They did not respond to his call button either. When questioned, they always say "they didn't press the button". Which is not true. I've watched people press the button like their life depended on it (which often it does), to get no response. I've ended up walking the halls to get assistance. Unfortunately, they are overextended, so they just say "yes, I'll be there". Then they help 4 other patients on the way. I will say that there are many individuals who are kind and the rehab staff is really good. We appreciate them. That said, they need to work on edible meals fit for humans and they must address the staff to patient ratio. They could also use a lot of work on the dietary needs of the individuals. Example Breakfast: rice krispy cereal, orange juice and coffee cake for a person with diabetes. Does that sound nutritionally optimal? Do better!

She consistently goes back and forth on what she says and doesn't say. It's super confusing. And when private sessions cost so much, it's not fair that people like Hiral can swindle money from families that put their child's development first. They rarely seemed busy and now it really makes sense because Hiral is the definition of fake it till you make it. During sessions, she was extremely aggressive in her approach with our daughter and it was the opposite of every other therapy session that I've witnessed. It doesn't work for younger kids and she wasn't able to recognize that. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH OT Park and Hiral. It's clear she's more interested in fake videos on social media than really helping kids and their development. My daughter and I researched numerous facilities in and around Morgan Hill, California, for many months. We were looking for the perfect Assisted Living residence for my 90 year old Mom. A large part of our decision to select Westmont of Morgan Hill was due to the confidence we felt in its Nurse Director, Ria Hernandez, to deliver the level of care and service we were looking for. Ria does an amazing job of keeping her Care Team functioning at peak performance in providing excellent care and genuine concern for my Mom and all the residents at Westmont. We are at the facility several days a week and are so delighted that Ria and her team are constantly checking in on Mom to make sure that she is comfortable and is receiving all the services she needs to feel safe and "at home." The facility is very clean and well maintained and we especially appreciate all of the creative, decorative touches the team provides at each and every holiday event. The residents there all seem happy and well cared for. It's like one big, happy family! We gladly refer friends and relatives to reach out to Ria if they are contemplating moving a loved one into Assisted Living or Memory Care. Saher is very caring, but her shortcomings far outweighed her attributes. She admitted to being disorganized; claiming that remembering appointments and important rules of our home were too difficult for her. With indoor pets and two elderly residents; safety is of the utmost importance. The rules of our home are set up to maintain safety and are very simple. She was often unfocused and spent the scheduled appointment time socializing rather than providing the services for which she was hired. I was greatly disturbed by her care of my elderly friend who is physically the more compromised of the two. She asked him to help her set up a heavy and cumbersome massage table, compromising his safety! This was very dangerous for him and she was aware of his limitations prior to requesting his assistance. With her expertise, she should not have enlisted his aide for such a task. If she cannot manage such tools independently, she should not be using them. The most upsetting incident that happened with Saher is when she let my elderly friend fall WHILE doing PT with him. This was irresponsible and negligent. Her scope of duties is to ensure that the exercises are done as safely as possible and within the reasonable ability of the client/patient. Upon subsequent visits she started soliciting me to help with the exercises. I am not a trained Physical Therapist and I was busy with my own tasks. She should have brought help, planned and executed more appropriate activities and/or avoided exercises that required two people to manage him. Lastly, we received numerous invoices 5-6 months after we had ceased working with her. She was astonishingly disorganized with her paperwork; which caused me an unreasonable amount of extra work to research and cross reference her invoices. They were out of order, some were already billed, some were unclear, some were from her forgetting to bill. It was very confusing. It saddens me to have to leave this review. Unfortunately, the care we received from Saher was not the quality that I expect from an out of pocket PT and I ultimately found her to be unsafe for my friends. That in conjunction with her unprofessionalism has prompted me to leave this review.

There was multiple instances in which HIPAA guidelines have been violated by Jeannie, the executive director. It's concerning to know that someone who has the authority to hold someone accountable for violating HIPAA guidelines is setting the example that it's something that is acceptable. I was in the kitchen cooking along with the chef, and clients/staff walking in and out. She admitted that she was at fault for taking a personal call at the dining room table and confirmed that she did in fact see that there were other people in the room while she disclosed a patient's medical history, including their full name.The HIPAA guidelines have continued to be violated even after I expressed their concern. There have also been microaggressions stated by this individual like assuming a client doesn't speak English because they speak multiple languages and stating they dont look like their ethnicity and specifying what ethnicity they "look like". More than often she is not updated on the patient's progress. There's a level of professionalism that is not being met. I don't believe it's appropriate to comment on one's progress without doing their due diligence to have the most updated information before inserting her opinion/suggestions. There is also a lack of communication when changes are happening. For example, when Norma, the in person therapist was no longer with California Mental Health it was never something clients were made aware of. All the clients were in the dark waiting for her return. Clients were told by the director that there was additional support coming in so that we would have more support. It was worded as if Norma would be coming back. The fact that she was gone was not acknowledged. There hasn't been a therapist in California Mental Health for six weeks. The accommodations and support on the website do not provide a realistic expectation of what it's like to stay here. Unfortunately, not every insurance covers clients to stay here so potential clients should make an informed decision before paying an insane amount to basically live in what felt like an Airbnb with roommates. Most of my stay consisted of no groups and down time. With that being said, the website should describe a more realistic expectation. Groups don't happen most of the time. There is a lot of down time to the point where you are better off renting out an airbnb at a more affordable cost. There is a lack of communication by both Jeanne and the program director, Josh. The staff is often unaware of changes and left in the dark about daily client activities. Josh is not reliable with client requests. It typically takes about a week of constantly asking before there are any art supplies approved/delivered. Example #2 Instead of fixing the master bathroom California Mental Health thought it would be appropriate to provide pliers to turn on/off the bathtub.Its interesting that they will confiscate any "sharp" objects including tweezers, but find giving clients pliers acceptable. This ended up causing a massive water spill which a client ended up fixing temporarily while the plumber came to the house. Example #3 Clients were also put in an uncomfortable living situation due to a new client consistently banging their head on the walls. Both the staff and clients expressed their concerns which were completely brushed off. We were all forced to deal with outbursts. It did not feel like a safe environment. Example #4 I was uncomfortable sharing a room with my roommate due to very intense outbursts and was put in a position to address the room change directly with the roommate even after expressed my concern. This led to a lot of tension in the house. The other client turned very passive aggressive towards me even after moving rooms. It is unfortunate that a place one goes to find peace there is an overwhelming amount of added stress. This is not a residential home I would recommend to anyone. I would like to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation to the A.M/P .M/NOC staff. They were all angels! If it wasn't for their kindness and genuine personalities I would have left. They went above beyond in all aspects.
