We got to know the kind and welcoming front desk receptionists, many excellent CNA's like Lorena and Amahd, the outstanding PT Priya and OT Danny. Now, I know the priority is the patient, but, Pacific Hills Case Manager, Juana Magallon, went above and beyond to make sure that we, as a family, had all our questions answered and helped us navigate a system with which we previously had no experience. So mumsy took a bad fall at home and broke her right femur (leg) close to her hip. We had to call…read morethe ambulance and took her to Saint Louise Hospital in Gilroy Ca and then transferred to Santa Clara Valley Medical Hospital in San Jose Ca. She needed surgery to have some titanium pins put into her femur to help her recover. She was then sent to nursing facility in Morgan Hill called Pacific Hills Post Acute and this is where her next days will help her recover and try to get her walking again. She get's physical therapy and medication and meals and towel bathes from the staff. All of them are great employees and do a pretty good job putting up with the elderly patients in need of some medical care while they are recovering from EVERYTHING. I have been there twice already visiting mumsy and pretty impressed by all of the work everyone does around this facility. A lot of young staff and older and different nationalities. The front office and RN's & LVN's and MA's and CNA's and Case Mangers and Admissions staff all very helpful on helping our mother.

She absolutely LOVES her therapists and literally asks when she gets to go back to the "indoor park," as she calls it. Between illnesses, a surgery/health event, and occasional school conflicts, there have been times when we needed to switch to virtual OT sessions or adjust our schedule. My daughter and I researched numerous facilities in and around Morgan Hill, California, for many months. We were looking for the perfect Assisted Living residence for my 90 year old Mom. A large part of our decision to select Westmont of Morgan Hill was due to the confidence we felt in its Nurse Director, Ria Hernandez, to deliver the level of care and service we were looking for. Ria does an amazing job of keeping her Care Team functioning at peak performance in providing excellent care and genuine concern for my Mom and all the residents at Westmont. We are at the facility several days a week and are so delighted that Ria and her team are constantly checking in on Mom to make sure that she is comfortable and is receiving all the services she needs to feel safe and "at home." The facility is very clean and well maintained and we especially appreciate all of the creative, decorative touches the team provides at each and every holiday event. The residents there all seem happy and well cared for. It's like one big, happy family! The nurses, therapists, and all of the staff were kind, compassionate, and incredibly patient throughout his stay. The facility is very clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, home-like atmosphere. Everyone genuinely seems to care about the residents and works hard to provide the best possible care. We are truly glad that my husband was able to recover here. Whenever we had questions or concerns, the staff responded promptly and were always willing to help. The only minor drawback was that the facility's attending physician generally visited in the evenings, which made direct communication somewhat difficult at times. Other than that, we were very pleased with the care provided. The activities offered to residents were enjoyable, and the meals were good as well. We were also impressed by how professional and efficient the case manager and administrative staff were throughout the entire process. Thank you to everyone who helped my husband during his recovery. Leaving a one star review only because I can't leave a zero…read more We had a horrible experience at Woodlands when bringing my grandpa here for rehab after his 3 month hospital visit. We were deciding between multiple options for rehab, and ultimately picked Woodlands because of the amazing reviews it had. However, there was not a singular positive experience that I could share. My grandpa got released from Good Samaritan Hospital with a strict diet plan and placed into rehab to gain his strength back. The first night the staff talked to us for over an hour asking questions about diet, exercise, medication and etc. We explained how he is strictly on a thick liquid, sugar free and small piece/ground food diet and must be monitored when eating due to his HIGH risk of aspiration. We come to check on him the next morning and see a plate of whole pasta pieces, chunks of honeydew and orange juice placed in front of him, which he was eating alone. Our over an hour conversation was clearly a waste of time as the staff did not listen to us at all. We experienced this situation multiple times. Helen would call multiple times, not even an hour apart, asking what his diet consists of, to not even listen and serve him whatever they had that day. The nurses would take my grandpa out in his wheelchair to stroll around, and one night as we were all visiting, one of the nurses brought him back to his room and we realized how he was disconnected from his oxygen tank. My grandpa went 10 minutes without an outside oxygen source and the nurses only came to help after we had to scurry looking for them, as they clearly did not realize themselves. My grandpa's breathing started to sound crackly and raspy, making us think he aspirated again. As we urgently requested to Helen for a doctor to come and check on him, she kept telling us how the doctor is busy but on his way for about an hour. She then proceeded to tell us how calling 911 might be a better idea. As we rushed him to the ER, we were told he aspirated and had to stay in the hospital again for another 2 weeks on antibiotics in order to heal. Woodlands caused my grandpa to go back to square one, ruining all the progress he made in the hospital. It's hard to see how so many people had good experiences at this rehab center, when for my grandpa it only caused him to get worse. I truly wish we did not bring him here in the first place, as it only weakened and damaged my grandpa further. It's sad to see nurses not care about an elders well being, and not be more prompt in this environment.

We were referred to Allied Therapy by San Andreas Regional Center for a group program for our son…read more I am actually concerned for the well being of the other children in the program and day care. The staff were inexperienced, unmotivated and unskilled and this was with me present, I hate to think what goes on when there are no parents. The program is in a room of Holly Oak elementary school, the room is clean and organized with toys and activities. That is the only positive. Present were children needing extra help as well as some children for regular day care. There were four members of staff but it was apparent that only one of them had any experience in helping children with special needs. Most of the children were not accompanied by parents, one young girl was ignored by all staff as she sat crying until I invited her to join my son and me. The young child obviously had some emotional issues that needed professional help and yet no one seemed to know what to do (this program is supposed to help such children) On our second and last day the same child kicked my son and lashed out and scratched another little boy. The four staff members just looked at each other and didn't handle the situation at all. The little boys cut was never attended to. At one point we were to do an obstacle course, basically three or four pieces of foam filled shapes were brought out and the kids were left to move across them on their own..NO DIRECTION or help given! Again, this program is to help children with some special needs! When we went outside to play, there were no hats or sunscreen applied to anyone except the two children with parents present. When we told the staff member in charge that we would not be returning they were incredibly rude. How do such centers exist and receive funding? This was an awful experience and I can't believe that in the heart of silicon valley this is the kind of care available to our children.

My son constantly praises his "teachers" and it brings me much joy and comfort that he is adapting to this social/classroom setting so well. No bedside manner, no respect to patient or family. There is also a Nurse Kaur in the PCU that makes cracks based on appearance and refuses to assist family on simple requests. She is rude, unprofessional, and when she realized I was observing her actions, she flipped her name badge around. She allowed my brother's heparin drip to run out and instructed a nursing student to change the heparin. There are good people in this hospital, however, the few bad eggs drag them down.
