The folks here are really great. I needed to go my ear re-pierced some the holes had closed up years ago and they made it really easy. I walked in and picked a set of earrings and off to see Eric, who literally made it painless. He gave me post-care instructions, and asked that I come back in 8 weeks for a follow-up visit and to shorten the posts. We just shortened the posts and it's been great. I've followed their care instructions and have been very happy. If you need a place where they keep standards high to protect you as a client and make things easy, this is your place. Hmm ... no one asked for a sharp needle to be brought out into a busy lobby. I simply asked what size needles were used and whether we could see one. That's completely different from what you're suggesting I asked. Regardless, Sam's attitude was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Instead of helping a nervous first-time customer he made us feel like our questions were an inconvenience. His behavior alone was enough to lose a customer. You can say what you want, but based on how we were treated, I believe we experienced racial bias. Whether you agree or not, that's how the interaction made us feel, and it was unacceptable. read more

While this shop has APP members, the experience of coming to this studio lacks what other studios/APP members provide. Lots of parking outside. The studio is very small. Because they take walk-ins, it can get very busy. When I went, it was incredibly loud and packed, and the counterstaff did not attend to this issue (they could have asked those not in for a service to wait outside, made the line to the counter clear, etc). The counterstaff seemed friendly (but didn't appear confident when I asked her what size jewelry posts I got after my appointment). There is a good selection of fine jewelry, both titanium and gold which was great. For my downsize, the piercer didn't close the door behind us, so there was a lack of privacy. I also wasn't presented with the new backings of my jewelry or shown that they had been properly sterilized by their autoclave/statim, and it felt very rushed. I got multiple piercings downsized and for some reason, the piercer utilized a backing from my flat to downsize a lobe piercing. I'm not sure why they did that, as 1) the gauges of the jewelry were different and 2) this left a lot of room extra room between my jewelry and my lobe. Please keep in mind that all of my piercings are well healed over 5+ years and I wanted the most snug fit possible, and was not given that. I should have said something in the moment about this, but as a more reserved person, I'm not one to complain when someone already seems like they're rushing me. After the downsize, I went back to my main piercing studio (over an hour away) to get my lobe properly downsized. I really feel like I wasted my time here, both in waiting over 45 minutes for a downsize and in not getting a properly fitting end. I was honestly shocked at my experience due to the reviews this place has. But maybe I am pickier than most when it comes to these things. Bottom line though is at least they safely pierce and have good jewelry. If you don't nitpick like me, you'll be fine going here. read more

My girlfriend highly recommended coming to Rebel Rebel in Anaheim as she had gone here before, and I was not disappointed one bit! The person working in front was so nice and helpful in choosing what end to get for my lip labret piercing and helped answer any concerns I had for my other piercings! I went the first time to get new jewelry for my existing lobe piercings. I knew mostly what I wanted, but it was a very calm welcoming experience that let me look at my own pace. I didn't feel like I was being rushed at all. When I picked out what I wanted, they included the installation with the purchase. They used an autoclave sterilizer to clean the jewelry and then put it in for me. I returned when I decided to get my double lobes done. When I picked the jewelry, the piercer let me know the pros and cons of the piece, the piercings, and even the expected heal time of getting two at once. They prepped the room, sterilized all the equipment, used fresh disposable gloves, and then dotted the piercing location. They let me check it over for a few minutes and made sure I was really happy with it; they even offered to re-do it if I wasn't sure. When I was happy with everything, they put on new gloves. The piercer had me take deep breathes and talked me through each moment of the piercing with clear and verbal explanation of what they were doing. They made sure I was okay and checked in a lot. Once they put the jewelry in, they walked me through aftercare instructions and told me when to come back for downsizing. I am really happy with the jewelry, the piercings, and how it turned out. Will definitely be going back for other piercings. I also looked up the piece later and found that they were selling at a fair price compared to the manufacturer and distributors. Feeling deceived that I paid $100+ for a single stud solid gold earring that isn't fully gold since they use titanium backings AND charge extra $15 for a downsize to titanium again. Never was informed about the downsize charge and was told to come in to downsize a month later. Don't buy gold earrings here. Not worth it. My backing should match my earring. So! Third time here. This time i was able to get a double tragus piercing, and Eric was able to squeeze me in right after my friend's appointment. After choosing jewelry, a short amount of paperwork, and a quick look at my anatomy, Eric took me to the back and was able to fit two piercings on my tragus on one side. The process was quick, efficient, and as always friendly. He answered any questions I had about care, the healing process, and gave me an explanation on his APP certification when I asked. I'd like to add- 6/8 of my piercings have been done by Eric. I had two original lobe piercings, one on each side, before adding the 4 more and making them into triangles. I've been to several piercers but had the best experience at this shop with Eric and Margaret. Eric explained the process for the rook from the beginning to end, and how it's different from others. He was mindful of my breathing, ensured I was well prepared and had no issues during the process. Eric was patient, even with all my questions, and went over the aftercare. Walked in on Saturday 07/18 as a walk in around noon time, the studio was super busy so I figured it would be a wait which I did not mind. I had told the person with long hair what I was here for, he said I would need to consult first as I've had this piercing before and sometimes scar tissue can get in the way. He did tell me there was a lot of people waiting and to just hang out. After most of the people in front of were called in it came down to me being the last person waiting ( was waiting for about an hour at this point). The lady in the front, asked "what I was here for". I was baffled and i nicely said "I've been waiting for my turn for my belly piercing", they said they thought I was just there waiting for someone , after an hour????. The piercer himself was super nice and explained the entire process. I received no apology from the 2 in the front , and also got no after care instructions ( I had heard the girl give after care instructions to everyone else). What an amazing friendly and informative shop. We did a walk in visit hoping we might be able to get in. We were greeted with the most friendly staff. They were so informative and knowledgeable about what we wanted and what would work best for us. I got my helix pierced and my husband got his ears repierced, but luckily he didn't need to get it repierced with a needle and was able to do it with just a backing. They didn't charge us for it, as I've been to other places and they would charge you a fee for a piercing no matter what. Lots of great jewelry to choose from no matter what your piercing.
