The hotel is near this Costco, so I decided to try to avoid the big lines and go there early. Great, no big lines, but still plenty of people pumping gas early. The station opens at 6 am and closes like maybe 9 pm, one hour after the store closes. Cheapest gas around and sure is less here than in California! Plus, if you have a Citi Costco card (doubles as a membership card), you get 5% off gas when you get it as a Costco gas station! I love they have those red and green signals posted on each pump island, telling you which pump on the island is available. You do know as well, that the pump hoses are long enough to stretch to the other side of your car id you pull in with your filler spot on the opposite side of the pumps. Just one thing I'd like is some windshield cleaning supplies, to clean while the car fills, but I guess that might slow the flow of vehicles ... sort of like when that big fat motorhome with a 75 gallon tank pulls in!

It is incredibly frustrating to pay these high prices just to throw half the box away 24 hours later. The quality control just isn't there anymore, and the food spoils way too fast. I'm tired of wasting money on items that rot immediately. Costco needs to fix their supply chain and improve their freshness standards, because right now, buying their produce is a total gamble.

My husband went inside and got some drinks and pay for the gas and the pump did not move ! The clerk came out too verify and she review the sales ticket ? She is like you already pump the gas ? Were like if its not working how did we pump it ? She tried pumping it too and it didn't work ? My daughter ask for the money back it was to hot and we had my grand baby in the car !! Finally they got the pump to work and when she went inside for the change the idiot guy kept giving my daughter an attitude, and finally the clerk give her the change after all this. When others raise their voices, and not use words to communicate it causes a big problem. We need to remember and have understanding for others in how we speak. Don't go to this shameful level. Fuel is normally much cheaper in Las Vegas than in California (but the smog over the city when we drove in may be a result). Costco fuel is $2.39 but we wouldn't wait in the line to leave town. You enter and it looks like any other convenience store with the checkout at the front but this store has nice looking (but I'm sure fake) stone arches. Hubs got the gas and I went in to check out the C-store. They have a large variety of goodies-coffee, donuts, soft drinks, hot dogs, sausage and breakfast sausages with buns and the toppings of chili or cheese and, of course, the usual candy and chips, pretzels and seeds. I recommend Terrible's. It makes a nice stop even if you just go in to walk around and look like I did.

Wow. I stoped by to buy a protein bar on my way home from work…read more I decided to play my change at one of the machines... There were none available, there were homeless people eating dinner? with their backpacks all over the ground and spilled sodas on two of the machines, crumbs everywhere and finally when one of them decided to stand up to let me play, the machine was all sticky. I wasn't greeted by anyone, nor acknowledged in anyway. I don't expect wonderful service at all gas station. And I do try to be very compassionate about the homeless situation and the predicament some people are in. But I felt uncomfortable, as they were so put out by having to move , I said don't worry I won't be long, just playing my change . And just got Sighs and eye rolls. Also the parking situation is not great. You can't park near the door , unless you are parked in a disabled spot, which is obviously fine, but because of the area in general, I'm very nervous to walk by myself from where I have to park to the door and back, especially at night.
