It needs to be highlighted today. We witnessed greatness! The best of Las Vegas and Henderson can be found here sometimes with individuals that don't have anything better to do but be ungrateful to others! The staff are wow!! When others raise their voices, and not use words to communicate it causes a big problem. We need to remember and have understanding for others in how we speak. Don't go to this shameful level. Let's use kindness to dissolve the hatred in the world. The individuals that come here to collect a paycheck have a heart and duty that they give to others each day they put their uniforms on. No matter what sort of work or service you perform use the smile to make it right. Make others feel happy and confident . Fuel is normally much cheaper in Las Vegas than in California (but the smog over the city when we drove in may be a result). Costco fuel is $2.39 but we wouldn't wait in the line to leave town. You enter and it looks like any other convenience store with the checkout at the front but this store has nice looking (but I'm sure fake) stone arches. Hubs got the gas and I went in to check out the C-store. They have a large variety of goodies-coffee, donuts, soft drinks, hot dogs, sausage and breakfast sausages with buns and the toppings of chili or cheese and, of course, the usual candy and chips, pretzels and seeds. I recommend Terrible's. It makes a nice stop even if you just go in to walk around and look like I did.

The selection is actually pretty varied and they have quite a few different items and brands. But with that being said, the aisles are packed and it's pretty cramped in here. It is clean and organized though, so it's easy to find what you are looking for. The produce only comes on a few days so be wary of that. The people working here have always been fairly friendly. We've gotten take out at the food line. It's pretty good and not too expensive.

I even feel safe to go at night because it is so lit up and I feel visible when I'm there. They have music playing and I can just use my card and I don't have to go inside if I don't need to. They have Lotsa pumps and especially in the summer time, in the heat, it's nice to go at night to fill up. The perk is the car wash and the convenience store inside. They are super friendly and the service is helpful. I like to get a big drink their or road trip snacks, too. So check out this location. I recommend it.

I went in to fill a prescription today, knowing in advance that my copay would be $96.99. When Jaiman saw how much I was going to have to pay, he told me to wait a minute. He went to his computer screen and after a minute or two he told me he located a coupon for my medication and with the coupon, my copay was reduced to $36! Can you imagine? This young man should be commended for what he did for me! It's so wonderful when a young adult takes the time to help a senior (I am 76). Good work Jaiman and good work Walgreens for hiring this young man!

Regardless of the sketch factor, the guy working was friendly and when I asked where the nearest liquor store was, both he and the customer next to me attempted to help by pointing me in the right direction.
