At this point the person that supposed recieved the arrangement left work since they delivery never arrive in the time frame the agree on. The person may not see the arrangements till Monday where mostly will no look fresh anymore. Update: I got a call from the store that they were 2 hours later for the lots of deliveries they have. I mention that the person was no longer at the location so they offered to change the delivery location. 2 hours later the flowers bee received and look beautiful. They definitely went the extra mile to make sure we were happy at the end of the day.

Leslie is AMAAAAAAZING!! I was SO overwhelmed when it came to wedding planning and Leslie really helped me hone down my ideas and get to the real details of the style I was going for. She did a gazebo installation, centerpieces and bouquet for my April 2012 wedding and I still get compliments on how beautiful they all looked! Leslie is EXTREMELY meticulous and detail-oriented and thinks of little elements that I would NEVER have thought of. I had showed her some different images of styles I liked and she was able to run with it and come up with similar arrangements that were stunning and still uniquely me. She even made a pinterest board for me that she would consistently update with ideas she had and new styles she had seen that she thought I would like. When you hire her, she REALLY puts in the time and effort to make you happy. I planned my wedding from overseas and so it really made me feel at ease knowing Leslie was doing the ground work to get every detail in order. Additionally, Leslie gave me all these little extras on the day of the wedding that I was not expecting. She made up little posey bouquets for my sisters and nieces and put up lots of little vases with some of the extra flowers she had left over from the arrangements. I was working with a tight budget so it was really thoughtful and kind of her to add these little details to make the wedding look even more beautiful! I've seen Leslie's work for other weddings and I can also tell that she is extremely adaptable and can work with all kinds of styles. Leslie is an absolutely wonderful and kind person, and exceptionally talented in her work. I got married in May, and I had to do most of my wedding planning from Chicago. I had already gone to several vendors in the Orange County area (including "premier florists" and "trendsetters"). But when I met Leslie and saw her work, I was immediately impressed by her professionalism, her kindness, and her knowledge and talent. Her work is really beautiful, and most importantly, she listens to you and incorporates what you wants into her magic. I had a vision of my flowers being elegant and yet modern and sexy, and within a few minutes of my talking, she had already showed me how she could make my ideas a reality. Unfortunately, in the midst of the wedding planning, we ended up changing venues and downsizing our original plans, however, Leslie stayed on and despite my constant changing things and worrying about the details, she assured and reassured me that everything would like fabulous. And it did! My wedding bouquet was a GORGEOUS assortment of exotic flowers and roses. I received so many compliments on the bouquet, the groom's/groomsmen and the bridesmaid's flowers. I was so stunned to see how beautiful everything looked . The centerpieces looked expensive and regal- she uses top of the line vases/crystals and flowers. I really can not express how impressed and how happy I was with everything. I couldn't have been more impressed with or stunned by how beautiful the flower arrangements and fabric treatment looked on my wedding day. I poured over countless portfolios and found several florist's whose portfolio included a few amazing designs, but when I looked at Leslie's portfolio there wasn't a single design that was less than spectacular. Her portfolio shows endless range, she could clearly do any style flawlessy, and it was her range that assured me that no matter what I wanted, she would make it perfect. I had a clear picture of what I wanted, but had a lot of trouble describing it; she pulled the idea right out of my head and put it in front of me on the wedding day looking more beautiful than I ever imagined. Leslie was one of the only vendors involved in the wedding who truly did everything to make the process as easy as possible; she is a true professional. She was in constant contact with me, always asking the right questions to find out exactly what I was looking for. If there was a certain flower I didn't like she came up with alternatives and she steered me away from things that wouldn't work well. She was always punctual and well organized, knowledgable and endlessly skilled. Where do I begin?!! Leslie was AMAZING!! We hired her for our December 10th wedding and we could not be more THRILLED with our flowers. Leslie was INCREDIBLE to work with and had BRILLIANT ideas. We had so many compliments on all our flowers. She did an incredible aisle with glass lanterns in the sand. Beautiful centerpieces and absolutely beautiful bouquets. I only had one request and that was a bridal bouquet full of peonies.......They are not in season in December, She made it happen!! flew them in from Holland or someplace far away. The flowers that Leslie created for my daughter Sara's wedding were unbelievably gorgeous! She did an amazing job on every detail! The wedding was at the Disneyland Hotel, which in itself made it magical, but with the help of Leslie's beautiful flowers, the venue was transformed to make it a true Fairytale Wedding! Our guests have told us that they were blown away and were thankful to have attended such a glamorous, fun and memorable event. Now all of this couldn't of been possible without Kelsey and her team at Kelsey Events. From our first encounter with her, we knew she had the confidence and drive to help us with our big day, so we hired her! She carefully helped us out months before our wedding with the planning and process. We had the chance to meet a couple of times in person before the wedding and were always able to contact her through email, phone and text. It was awesome to know when deadlines should be met to develop a timeline especially for a 300-350 guest list. As the big day grew closer, Kelsey was there during the vendor walk-thru at the reception site as a sort of ring leader to move us through the process and get everything coordinated. She also helped us out with all of the legalities and contracts that had to be completed by each vendor as well as ourselves. Kelsey even showed up at our wedding rehearsal where she didn't need to be but it was assuring for us that she wanted to know the whole scope of the big day - kudos to her! She has a thorough and detailed work ethic which enables her to be on point while keeping the bride and groom cool, calm and collected - after all, we're virgins in this realm while she's a seasoned vet! BIG DAY! So when the big day finally came, Kelsey and her team were able to pick up items from us for the reception site at the butt crack 'o' dawn so they could expedite the set up process. She had all of the vendors contact information to make sure that they arrived in a timely manner to do what they were hired to do while making sure the bridal party was getting ready in time for photography. Kelsey also made sure the bridal party was on time and coherent with the game plan - that meant we couldn't get drunk which was a good thing! We already wanted to party but she made sure the business of love got handled first. After the wedding ceremony, we were blown away at the look and feel of our wedding reception - all of that planning and hard work were present and it was nice to see that pie fully baked! Kelsey made sure the next series of events were on time like: introductions, first dance, speeches, cake cutting, video, etc. When guests were trying to figure out where to place the present/card if they had one for us, Kelsey not only took care of that but also made sure that when the mail box/gift area of cards were full, she emptied it out and put those gifts in a safe place making sure we would receive those at the end of the evening - one of those unexpected things you don't think about and it's a good thing too! In the wee hours of the morning, once the guests vacated the venue, Kelsey helped us clear the venue of all our personable valuables and then the night was finally over. Some people say that your wedding day goes by so fast, for us it was a longgggggg day! Ultimately Kelsey is a consummate professional and we'd recommend her ten-fold especially at The Vibiana where we held our wedding reception. We can't thank Kelsey enough for being there for us and making our memories last a lifetime. HOLLA!

I'm writing from the perspective of a client who did not receive all the goods that were agreed…read moreupon/paid for and received a fraction of the refund I deserved. First, Cali Roots Design is a budget-friendly floral company with a lot of talent. Their prices are hard to beat and for the most part, I was very satisfied with their work. However, my mistake was not requesting mock ups ahead of time. Danielle and I met once to discuss what I wanted and would send each other inspiration photos, but I didn't actually know what my floral pieces would look like until the day of the wedding. She was not always easy to reach, and sometimes took days-weeks to respond. I asked her to send mock up photos the week before the wedding, but never received any. Admittedly, I'm not particular with flowers and was overall happy with what was provided. The altar pieces, boutonnieres, bouquets, driftwood pieces were all beautiful. However, I paid $1200 for 12 table center pieces ($100 per table). What was provided (see picture), although pretty, was simple and didn't seem to equate to $100 to me compared with the value of other items ($100 for bride bouquet, $60 for bridesmaid bouquet, $18 boutonnieres, etc). I was able to keep the flowers and vases, but had to return floating candles and their holders. About 2 wks after the wedding, I asked Danielle about this. She called back almost immediately and stated she was appalled about what happened. After talking with her team, she told me that there had been a mistake - that in addition to what was pictured, I was supposed to have received 3 full vases of flowers per table (essentially 36 floral vases had not been delivered). Danielle had not been present on my wedding day for unclear reasons. According to her, her team had singlehandedly decided not to include those 36 vases on the day of the wedding because they felt those vases would "overcrowd the table". Neither I, my husband, my wedding coordinator (or Danielle, apparently) were notified of this. We were never given an adjusted invoice -- the reason why this even came to light was because I asked Danielle after the fact. I never saw those floral vases during the set up and still don't understand how 36 prepped vases slipped through the cracks, unbeknownst even to Danielle. Naturally, I asked for a refund on what was not delivered. She initially offered to send me a gift and credit me for two future centerpieces (two! when she owed me 36). When I told her that I preferred a refund (there are few, if any, circumstances in my life where I would need that many floral vases again), she stated she'd need to calculate costs and get back to me, and that it would be difficult because she had already paid for those flowers and labor (lol!). The following morning, I received a Venmo payment of $300 without any prior discussion or agreement (bearing in mind that I paid $1200 for these centerpieces and did not receive the bulk of what was promised). When I asked her for an explanation of how she arrived at $300, she said her company never gives refunds per our contract (which is not stated in any contract between us) and that she was being generous by giving a 25% refund. Her rationale for this was that her team helped set up the center pieces (what little there was of them) when this was not part of the agreement (this had been my wedding coordinator's responsibility, but Danielle's team saw that she was swamped and decided to help her). Although this is not lost on me and I am grateful for the beautiful work that was done and delivered, that shouldn't undermine the mistake that was made. Danielle failed to deliver on ~$800-900 of goods that were promised, which trumps any policy/contract and violates consumer law. She treated this situation as if the mistake was not hers and as if I, as the customer, should bear the brunt/take the loss. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in how Danielle handled this situation. I trusted her in good faith and tried to be patient (and even accommodating) throughout the whole process. She is unprofessional and ignored my repeated attempts to reach out to her, and most notably breached consumer law. Although the merchandise was just flowers (and my guests had a great time regardless), this was still a business transaction that was poorly handled. I expect better business standards. If you are considering Cali Roots Design, I would ask early and often for detailed mock ups and invoices. In hindsight, I would rather have paid a little extra to have gone with a different company with better business ethics.

Everything she created- from the centerpieces to my bouquet- was breathtaking. It was more than we anticipated and went above and beyond any expectations we had. She knew her clients well enough that she knew we'd be happy with her decisions. She took initiative to decorate our cake with extra flowers she had brought and turned our simple cake into one gorgeous display! Lured in be her "credentials and…read moreexpertise", midway through the process my gut began telling me that all that glitters is not gold. Unfortunately, I had to find out the hard way. After receiving over two thousand dollars for florals for my wedding, Virginia became extremely condescending and patronizing. Still hopeful that she would deliver, my wedding planner and I decided to simply pray and move forward. On the actual day of my wedding, my amazing wedding planner informed me that although the flowers were not what we expected and were already wilting and dying upon delivery, she was taking care of it. Between my wedding planner and bridesmaids, new bouquets were made with flowers from Trader Joes for a fraction of the price. The only thing we were able to reuse from the wilted single stemmed hydrangea bridesmaid bouquets were the ribbon. My bouquet, which I paid almost $200 for on its own was full of dying and wilted flowers and thorns. I had to use scissors from my hotel to cut the thorns off because of how they were pricking my fingers. My only and biggest concern for my wedding were my flowers because of my own love for floral design, and my dream turned into a nightmare on the biggest day of my life. For any new bride, I would recommend them stay far far away from Amazing Blooms Studios unless you want your big day ruined.
