My car was overdue for a wash. I was in town for the holidays and heard this was a newer car wash…read moreso I decided to give it a try. The ultimate was a few dollars more than other places at $18 but I really needed a thorough car wash so I decided to spend the money. I was asked if I had a loyalty punch card, and once I said no, the gal decided to hole punch one and give it to me without even asking if I wanted one. I don't live in the area so I have no use for it. Once I entered the car wash tunnel, an attendant handed me a wet towel for wiping the inside. The attendant turned in my mirrors and did prep-work on certain spots. With the car in neutral, it guides you through. Fairly simple process. At the end, it does push you completely out, so no extra waiting around at the dryer part. Once through, I had to pull off and make sure my mirrors were back in place for driving (I almost forgot as I've never had to do this before). Meeting up with family shortly after, my car looked nice and shiny and I was initially happy with the turn out.... Although, after I mentioned I tried out The Curve Car Wash, one of my family members asked about my front plate after the fact. Turns out they went through the car wash and it severely bent their front plate. Upon checking mine, it was bent the same way as theirs was and had to be removed to be bent back into shape. Quite odd this happened the same way to two people at different times at the same car wash. I wonder how many other people this has happened to? I won't be back as a car wash should not bend your front license plate the way it did mine. I had no existing bends in my plate or anything sticking out where it could have gotten caught. I now refer to this place as The Curve your license plate Car Wash. I'm glad the only damage was to the front plate but this shouldn't be happening. If I need a wash in the future, I will save a few dollars and go to literally any other car wash in town.

The wand tip was 180 degrees off, hose was 5' too long, and wand trigger was broken causing it to be on all the time when washing. Also, there is incorrect signage in car wash concerning overhead doors. Warning signs indicate doors automatically close in 30 seconds after opening. I didn't close the door due to this when leaving and the "owner" aggressively chased me down in the parking lot when leaving to make sure I know to close his doors. Would not recommend.

There was trash left out in plain sight which I included in a picture here. The floor mats were more than wet. There was actually a puddle of water which I attempted to take a picture of but didn't turn out that well in this picture. I understand that floor mats will be wet after they are clean, but these are much more wet than that. They would have frozen solid in my car in the winter. I understand that this is a quick cleaning, but when they left garbage out in plain sight and mats were not even attempted to have been wiped dry you know the employees didn't care and gave no effort in cleaning my car. I did ask for my money back or to have the car cleaned inside again. They were very receptive to this and the job on the second time was acceptable. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because their receptiveness and remediation of the cleaning. Bottom line: would not recommend unless your car is relatively clean already inside. The car wash is the only one in Grand Forks that does both inside/outside. They've had the same…read morerude/grumpy employees other than a few new people every year. They raise their prices every year or two. But they don't offer more quality! The need to focus on quality over quantity, instead they zip through your car compared to spending an extra 3 mins on it and doing a little extra, wiping down all door jams and seals, wiping down dash, doors, cup holders and windows better, applying rain x and tire gloss better. They definitely could use new Management and employees that actually are customer friendly and care about the car and experience versus just another number. Someone soon will open a better car wash inside and outside. Until then people have no choice except to use this, Rydells is no better.
