Jason...get ready for it...has actually changed my life…read more Jason has succeeded in helping me understand, heal and manage a problem with my knee that I thought I was going to have to accept as a chronic and disheartening reality of life. In a nonintrusive manner, he spends time getting to know your issue. Then, he follows a plan that couples his own work (and seriously, this guy WORKS when he's with you) with achievable exercise I have been able to incorporate successfully into my own life. Jason is easy to talk to, and there's wisdom in his unpretentious approach. He doesn't mind you writhing around a little while he desensitizes a problem area. When a session is beginning or reaching its conclusion, depending on your need, he teaches you what is going on with your body. If you are anything like I was, I needed my mind to loosen up as much as I needed my body to calm down. Jason will quietly but assertively guide you through the setbacks that might be a part of your journey. "Didn't do your stretching? That's okay. What is your body telling you about that choice?" On a closing note, there's something pretty exceptional about Jason's character. This is a therapist who wants you to heal. He wants you to graduate from his table. I'm not fully there, but I schedule out further and further each time I go now. I look forward to every session and am proud of myself each time we plan the next.

Those pills have kept me dizzy, nauseous and Ive gained 50 lbs on them. Until Jason I've really thought my health was changing for the worse. And I thought my life as I knew it would be over. I really enjoy being in the outdoors and I couldn't even take a drive to Pineflat Lake when I first started coming here. Well Jason gave me some inner ear exercises and within 2 weeks I was up and down the Sierras! I've been going to Kings Canyon, Yosemite, and soon with Jason's help I'm going on a boat out to the ocean for fishing!! And that says a lot for someone who has motion sickness and vertigo. Since seeing Jason I have not had one migraine! His therapy is not like any I've ever had with any other PT before. He's really hands on. He mixes the old school stuff with kinda like new age stuff which is really cool. Now don't get me wrong, PT still hurts, especially from Jason, believe me, this guy makes me cry, but oh does it hurt so good. If you know what I mean..... It works, works for me because I don't need any of the meds my (so called) Drs have prescribed since I've been coming to see Jason. Since he's helped me I have found my balance, I've now lost almost all that weight I've gained since those Drs messed me up with those meds. 20lbs left to lose. I know exactly what to expect each visit and each segment of my therapy is tended to by a truly caring individual who has my well being in mind at all times. The leg massage I get each session has really made a difference in the rigidity and pain in my leg muscles. The advice I get while doing my exercises has been quite helpful at home. The entire staff are a pleasure to work with. The facility has a large open area for exercises you do on your own, guided by an assistant. It is kept very clean and every piece of equipment used is promptly cleaned before being put away. They have several private rooms for the sections of treatment that call for more privacy or personal attention by your therapist or assistant. And lastly, while the parking lot looks full, I have been able to park in the row of spaces next to the building and within steps of the front door at every appointment. With walking assisted by a cane, not having to walk across the parking lot has been wonderful.

The people at advanced physical therapy are so caring, kind, and helpful. They set up a series of different exercises designed for each person to help accommodate their needs whether it be their knee, shoulder, etc. They guide you along the way to be sure you were doing it right. The people are very special and wonderful and awesome helping each individual. I had a great team from Taylor, Emily, Lanthan, Nic 1, Nic 2, Jenn, and Daniel. They immediately welcome you in and help with your exercises and treatments to get you feeling better and achieve your goals. I adored my team that helped me and I thank them all. They worked within her comfort level the entire time. They would push her a little bit at a time and if she felt any pain, they would have her relax and not push her any more. She's been dealing with knee pain that affects her ability to bend her knee and run, and while we're still unsure of the exact cause, they've been very attentive and supportive throughout her care. The staff here have been friendly, patient, and caring. We've had a great experience so far.

From my initial contact to the therapy sessions, my back pain is now more manageable and almost pain free for most days.
