Christian did our initial session, explaining clearly and thoroughly what was going on with our bodies and how the exercises would help. The other staff members would guide us through the exercise routines with Christian checking on our progress each week during the treatment period. The facility is small but has adequate equipment and space. We worked with several therapists during our treatment and felt like we got to know them well. My doctor initially submitted a referral due to my carpal tunnel and the sessions for my hand therapy journey began. I'll shower turn the stuff is great with communicating to the clients. My orthopedic doctor found I have developed arthritis in one of my hands. I learned about my hands and apparently this condition is common among women. I went through the evaluation and assessment procedure. It was great because I learned a lot about my hands. As a professor, I taught and trained students for 22 years. I always wanted to give students feedback to ensure they understood the material I was teaching. As a Supervisor of student teaching I worked hard to give written comments about their teaching. All that handwriting impacted my hands. Anyway, this is a great place to get physical therapy for my hands. More later.

During my first visit, Dr. Drysdale did a comprehensive evaluation. It was immediately clear that he is extremely knowledgeable and competent. He found the underlying cause of my pain, then prescribed a treatment program that would address the cause - not just treat the symptoms. I looked forward to each visit. The atmosphere is upbeat and positive, and like Dr. Drysdale, each assistant who helped me was friendly, professional and highly skilled. Through a combination of physical adjustments, massage, specially tailored exercises, ice and electrical stimulation, in four sessions, and my pain was gone. Besides Dr. Drysdale, I want to give a special thanks to Miriam, who gave me exercises to do at home that have been surprisingly effective. Then there are a gaggle of therapy aids who have very little effect that wander from patient to patient. You will spend a fair amount of time waiting. The therapy aids did not ensure physical training was being done correctly. When using Electric Muscle Stimulation, the aid put it on the wrong part of my body twice. To add insult to this, there is a heavy jock-bro environment. I cancelled after my second visit. The therapists themselves are good and the diagnosis was spot on. They are just maximizing profit at the cost of treatment.

They do a lot of manual manipulation and that's what I needed for my back/hip and I was given instructions on exercises to do at home to continue healing. I felt confident in their care especially being that any and every question I had was answered in full detail and sometimes even anatomically correct figurines to help visualize what the movements they are recommending and how they are going to help heal my body. For myself this is integral to my recovery and I wish I had come here first because it truly altered my mobility int the best way.

The entire staff are a pleasure to work with. The facility has a large open area for exercises you do on your own, guided by an assistant. It is kept very clean and every piece of equipment used is promptly cleaned before being put away. They have several private rooms for the sections of treatment that call for more privacy or personal attention by your therapist or assistant. And lastly, while the parking lot looks full, I have been able to park in the row of spaces next to the building and within steps of the front door at every appointment.
