I corrected all items and raised the car back up to factory height (which anybody that has performed this knows how time consuming this can be). When I returned for the re-inspection they failed it again this time stating I cannot have any aftermarket suspension components on the car per COMAR which is completely incorrect. Article 11.14.2. Look it up. I took time off work for both appointments only to waste my time here. Should have been a red flag when they charged me $40 to put blocks of wood on their ramp lift because it was "too low" even though it was only 1" lower than stock. Mechanic just jumped in with no protective cover for the seat too. Complete waste dont bother with these guys, especially if your car is modified in any way. They couldnt even be up front about why it "failed" the first time with a vague answer and barely any detail. AVOID these guys, just go anywhere else

I called AAA back and told them what I was being charged and AAA rep said,"no he is wrong, let me talk to him". I handed the Thompson tow driver my phone and HEARD THE AAA REP. tell him,"this customer is covered; Thompson will be paid for this tow". Then another tow truck arrived from Thompson. They talked to each other and BOTH TOW TRUCKS LEFT WITHOUT TOWING MY CAR!!! The officer called another company and now I have to pay this other company since they are not in AAA and for storage of my car when it was supposed to be towed to my house by an AAA approved vendor. The work was not completed as agreed, despite clear conversations about what was supposed to be done. On top of that, the job took over a week longer than the timeframe I was given, with little communication or accountability during the delay. There were visible paint drips, sloppy areas, and worst of all, they painted over my backup camera, which should never happen in a professional body shop. It honestly looked rushed and careless. What really crossed the line was when Henry contacted my insurance company and submitted a repair order/quote that did not match what we had agreed on, seemingly in an attempt to inflate the price. That created unnecessary stress and confusion and felt completely unethical. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Poor workmanship, missed deadlines, and questionable business practices are not what anyone should have to deal with--especially when trusting a shop with their vehicle. I would not return, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before using H&B Auto Body.
