My friend brought me along for this Les Retrouvailles event. The decor was nice, I liked the chandelier in the lobby, the vanity in the ladies restroom and the Photo Booth set up. I didn't like that we were rushed at the Photo Booth whereas the others before us got to take their time and take multiple shots with their group of friends. The DJ was really dropping the hits in the beginning but towards the end I wasn't feeling it I didn't recognize the music and he completely ignore my request after initially being responsive to it. I had the absolute best wedding experience with this team! Alexys, Monica and Soraya were all very attentive and so helpful with everything i dreamed for mine and my husbands special day. Food was amazing and as were the drinks. We requested mojitos and margaritas as the special drinks and i will say, it did not disappoint! The DJ helped my husband and i as well as all those invited to the wedding, dance the night away. They are all so organized and listened and achieved all that i desired for the celebration. Decorations, center pieces, flowers, bouquet, food, drink, dj, cake.. the list can go on with how wonderful everything was and so perfectly organized and taken care of for you. Very beautiful and elegant venue but the staff is an absolute disaster. We celebrated our company's 20th Anniversary here. We do holiday parties every year at a banquet hall which means we've done 20 parties at banquet halls. This was by a significant margin the worst service we've ever experienced. You can't order "shots" but you can order a glass of straight liquor. They didn't have supplies to make Moscow mules so we brought our own. The bartender said we didn't pay for the extra labor to make them. We complained to the manager who told the bartender it was okay. Then the bartender was decided who was allowed to have Moscow mules and who wasn't. Saying that they were limited and only certain people can have them. Then I see her pouring herself a shot glass of Moscow mule after making one for someone. Moving on to the food, the food was basically inedible but I guess you can't really expect good food at a banquet hall but this was a special case. Everything was so dry I couldn't get the single bite of food I had all night down without drinking an entire glass of water. They don't serve you food unless you are sitting at your seat. The entire table finished eating and because I got up to grab something when they were serving I never got food. I had to wait until everyone was done eating which was the only time a server came back to the table to ask them to bring food. They also didn't bring food for our daughter and when we asked them to bring it they told us the only person who could bring her food was the server for her table and she had to be seated at the seat she was assigned or else they couldn't bring food. Moving on from the food, we made a video to play at the party. They gave the very specific requirements for formatting and told us we specifically had to bring it in a flash drive and drop it off at least 3 days before the party. They of course has technical difficulties playing the video. The volume wasn't on for half the video and then when they finally got it to work it was too low. Then the video ended and they started playing it again. Embarrassing. Moving on to the dance floor. It's covered in glossy slick tile. Someone spilled a drink on it. They stopped to music to tell everyone to get off the dance floor to clean the spill. Someone halfheartedly wiped it and left it still soaking wet. Two people slipped and fell on the dance floor including a child because they refused to fully clean the floor. As you can tell this was horrible in every aspect you could possibly imagine. Stay as far away from here as you can. read more

I went to a party here over the weekend and the place is really nice and updated. It has a nice entrance with a water fountain. The appetizers seemed like they were frozen from the box. Not great. Seriously. Almost gave this place four stars but then the mashed potatoes are INSTANT?? Come on? Now you're just a business who could be a solid four star place but just money hungry. (This is not the four seasons granted. ) Reminds me a lot like eating at Disneyland or cafeteria at a theme park. Our wedding was such a simple process because of this place. Full package and whatever we wanted they could make it happen. Alexys was absolutely great with everything. She is the perfect coordinator for a bride and groom to not be stressed about the process. The day of the wedding everything was so much prettier than we had expected. Our wedding was here on July 2014 and I have to say the staff at the Reception Palace outdid themselves. We are kind of control freaks but in the end we let them do what they do and I am glad we did. We got their complete wedding package and worked with their florist Maria and their photographer Mateu and videographer; they were all very professional. Their DJ did a phenomenal job at keeping everyone dancing. The food was fantastic. If you look them up in other review sites you will see their score is much better than here because there are not enough reviews here to show how good they really are. We are very please with Alexis, Luisa and Soraya and recommend them 100%. People were talking about our weddings weeks later! read more

We recently had our wedding here and I can honestly say that we had a great experience. Alexys, Maggie and Soraya do a great job. The prices are more than just affordable. My fiancé does not live in Miami, so it was difficult to go visit different vendors. At Reception Palace, we could get everything we needed with one place in one package. It was nice to have the staff at Reception Palace taking care of all the little details, so we didn't have to worry about them. Reception Palace is super flexible and easy to work with. Other venues we considered, or where friends had their weddings, have very strict rules about a lot of things. Reception Palace isn't like that, they work with you to make sure your big day is exactly the way you want it. Every time I called to ask a question, or make a request, they never made me feel like I was bothering them. They are happy to help with all the details, and they also help give you advice on how to plan for certain things. This team is professional, they know what they're doing. I can honestly say I didn't worry about a single thing on the day of our wedding, I knew they had it handled. A lot of places want to charge you for every little thing, this place is not like that, they helped us save money on different things. Additionally, the food is great. We picked the chicken chasseur with rice and veggies, and everyone enjoyed it. Even two months after our wedding, people still tell us how much fun they had! Everyone really enjoyed themselves. The room, looked gorgeous and everything was just really well done. The DJ did a good job, but didn't stick to all of our requests. I am so glad we chose to have our wedding here. read more

if you've been in one banquet hall, you've been in them all. that being said, let me get to the heart of the matter: the food. it was terrible. the salad was your typical banquet hall caesar salad. the entrée was a chicken breast topped with mushrooms and drowned in about 3 pounds of salt. it was accompanied by rice and potatoes. why i came here? to redeem my youth by watching eighth graders dance the night away. read more

It was a terrible night, two iphones were stolen during the party and we had no help or support by the administration in trying to find them (the phones disappeared when the waiters clean the tables). Supposedly they have cameras there and the owners did not even return my call the next day. The DJ had no personality at all and had an attitude problem that didn't help at all. I had a very disappointing experience with Receptions Palace. After much research my fiancé and I had decided to do our wedding reception here. The coordinator seemed professional and their services seemed lovely and affordable. We made our deposit and signed a contract for our reception. We later received a call that the wedding party that booked before us had more wedding guests than they anticipated and would need half of our reception hall to accommodate them. Rather than offer us a discount or advise the other wedding party that they had booked the other reception hall they wanted us to move either our time for that day or our wedding day. Although they kept claiming that they needed to be fair to both parties they made no attempt in accommodating our needs knowing that we were now paying clients. We had already booked our wedding date at the church, months in advance. Since "we" we're not willing to move our time they said they could not accommodate us and gave us our deposit back. I will never recommend this place to anyone. This was extremely unprofessional in their part and I could not let this go unnoticed. read more

This Place Was Horrible! After the contract was signed and we agreed to a certain amoint of tables, they later added a fee of $60 per additional tables after 6 which was never discussed. The flower colors were wrong after confirming twice. My clients were given a low quality invitation sample after we agreed to a certain style and told that we wouldn't receive a credit. We never received the favors In the package and after asking about the favor tags, we were told that water spilled on them and that the person in charge of reprinting went home. Everything was promised and half of it was delivered in addition to them trying to add things that weren't in the contract to make additional money. Total ripoff. However I would not recommend this place if I were to be a bride looking for a place to have my wedding l, I would never ever choose this business to hold the moat important day of my life. Worst place ever i cant even believe how this place is still in business.. They did not do one thing i ask for and when i ask what had happen they did nit even give me and am sorry or anything they did not care they had ruin my wedding and soraya the owner close my bar and hour before i had paid for.. They did not give me the premier bar i paid for the flowers where old and not even the color i ask for.. And not happy with everything their servers started throwing away my favors even some that where custom made to my wedding party.. When i gave this info to soraya she told me that it was a lied that my guest most likely stole them even after finding one of them in her trash this place sucks this place is the worst place in miami and if i was you i will stay away completely away they make u feel like family at first and when they get all your money they treat you like shyt too sad i trusted them with my most important day ever and they ruin it read more
