Being my first time trying Recharge, I was impressed by their menu selection. They serve hot and iced coffee, teas, refreshers, energy mixers, and smoothies. After waiting in the drive-thru line, the wait time from paying for your drink and receiving it is quite fast. I ordered a Berry Baby Shaken Tea and enjoyed it. The drink was not too sweet but also not too tart, just near perfect. At this location there is no indoor seating, just a drive-thru. The exterior of the building was clean, and the decor was hip and modern. Would 100% recommend to others visiting! read more

Visited the establishment today for the first time before work. 6:50 am, only one car in front of me. Ordered a bagel, the girl said the only breakfast item they had was a flatbread and there was one left. Alright - flatbread it is. I was given a customer survey as I paid, which is senseless since the interaction just began. And then asked if I'd like to tip. I was informed I needed to pull up for my order. I sat there waiting patiently as all of the cars behind me honked and gave me dirty looks and one kid even returned to the store to yell at me for sitting there "in the way." I finally realized I had been long forgotten and went back to the drive through. The window opens, I'm told she forgot to turn on the oven and she was putting my order in now. Finally received order, unapologetically handing me the food and sending me on my way 20+ minutes later. The drink was awful and the flatbread was nothing to write home about either. I used to be a big fan or Recharge especially when the company was in Bourbonnais. Original owners were very friendly and they always kept food and drinks in stock which made me want to keep coming back. Working in Watseka, I was super thrilled that they were expanding with a Watseka location and knew that they would maintain their reputation. Yet, ever since the transition of new ownership and the original owners moved on, the quality and reputation have decreased. One positive is that the baristas are always friendly. Though how can you have a recharge location when they are always out of stock of product? You might as well go to Casey's or McDonalds. Lately, there also seems to be inconsistency of hours. Whenever I drive by, I can never tell whether they are open or not. Usually there is a car there, assuming that they are open. Sometimes, the "Open" signs is never turned on assuming that they are closed during the day. I am a bit disappointed how the quality, experience, and stock of food has decreased. I have lost complete interest in going to Recharge now. read more

Excellent food, espresso and service! Wasn't sure they'd be a coffee shop in Watseka but what a gem! Highly recommend! Food was excellent, had the Bad A$$ Bagel and it was delicious! Got some donuts for family and coffee, everything was fantastic! read more

We decided to try Recharge Coffee Co in Dyer, IN. The store was extremely clean with a large assortment of beverages both hot and cold to choose from. Since they didn't have hot green tea, we ordered coffee. It was ok. Our bakery items were ok. I would suggest the company invest in heavier weight cups for the safety of the customers. The coffee was very hot when the lid popped off and spilled on me and the floor. I would suggest that future customers request a double paper cup or bring your own sturdy coffee cup. read more

I came here three times within the span of the week because the staff seemed nice and the drinks were tasty. The person working today handling my credit card passed me their pos system before I was ready and it fell on the ground and broke my credit card. I had to pay for the coffee and tipped and was nice about it but after calling to get my credit card replaced it'll take ten days and I have to pay a $25 fee not worth $50 for a coffee visit through a drive through. :/ Drinks are great, service is nice, but didn't appreciate the lack of accountability for an accident that impacted me. read more

I am only giving 2 stars since they sell Donut Foundry here - without the donuts I'd give no stars. We used to have a recharge in Manteno and we really loved it so when I found there was a Bourbonnais location I was excited to pay it a visit. My mother was visiting from out of town and we headed to recharge for our coffees and donuts. When you arrive there are two drive thrus, one that says it's for express online order pick up and then one says it's to place an order. We pull through the proper line and start reviewing the menu. I've never had the donuts so I was taking my time looking over the listed available donuts and of course my moms from out of town so she was taking her time looking at the coffees and everything there was to offer. As we were reviewing the menu a clerk from inside the hut where they make the coffee came out and approached my vehicle and asked "are you okay?" I said I was reviewing the menu and she looked at me annoyed and puzzled and walked away (as if she's never seen someone take a look at the menu for more than a couple of minutes before) she had a septum ring, I didn't catch her name but she was pretty unprofessional. Once we had that interaction with her we felt we were "in trouble" and got into the first line we saw vehicles in to place the order. When we got to the window another clerk said it was the window for online order pick up not to place and order. I asked her where I was supposed to go and she said well you're here now so just order. (Eye roll) we spent $55 on 3 drinks, a half dozen donuts and a big sugar cookie. For the prices here you'd think the service would be better...donuts and the cookie were good. I first tried Recharge at the Bourbonnais location. I really liked it! When they expanded to Watseka, I was in shock and so excited for something GOOD! Now, let me start by saying I love the baristas. They make great chatter and are all around just sweet kids. However, whoever is in charge of making sure these baristas have what they need, are slacking. They let the Watseka location go WEEKS out of stock of A LOT of things. From flavoring, to food, to STRAWS! I know a lot of people who wanted to purchase gift cards over the holiday, and they didn't have ANY! They sold out and that was that! I don't hold it against the baristas, it doesn't fall on them. Overall, the products are good. A little high priced, but worth it to me in the mornings when I'm heading to work and need something nice for myself. The Watseka location is very nice inside. I love the decor and the fact that the baristas add a little bit of a personal touch with Polaroids of the baristas/customers. I don't go as often as I'd like anymore, but I still recommend. The redbull mixers are delicious, and I do enjoy their coffee. read more
