I had such a great experience with Dr. Carri, especially at a time when my body felt completely out of sync. I went to see her at 35 weeks pregnant for pretty intense groin and hip pain, and she was exactly what I needed - knowledgeable, direct, and refreshingly honest about what's actually realistic at the end of pregnancy. She gave me practical exercises and tools that I could immediately incorporate, and I genuinely felt relief and more support in my day-to-day movement. What really stood out was a session we did using biofeedback for birth prep. She helped me connect to my pelvic floor in a way I hadn't before -learning how to properly relax those muscles (which is harder than it sounds) while also understanding how to engage the right areas. It made me feel so much more prepared and confident going into labor. If you're pregnant or dealing with pelvic/hip pain, I can't recommend her enough. If I can give 10 stars I would! Dr. Carri has been by far the best physical therapist I have ever been to. I have been working with Dr. Carri for about 5 months now. I had reached out originally in late Sep 2025 for a really bad case of sciatica that radiated down really bad one leg and a little on my other leg. After my first visit in Oct 2025, I started feeling very hopeful as I've never had a PT put so much time, effort and care on the first visit. We met for weekly sessions at first and as I kept improving it became every other week, then every 3 weeks, and now I meet with her once per month. I have been improving every month and I am positive in having a full recovery and being my active self once again very soon! read more

Dr. Carri is a healer. I've been to her three times now for three different issues and she's helped me every time. Every other PT will tell you that you need to come three times a week for weeks on end. Dr Carri likes to give you the tools to work at home and send you on your way. My elbow was frozen and I couldn't move it at all and she fixed it in one visit. I've been lifting heavy for about six years, and while the benefits are undeniable, as my maxes went up I developed an unfortunate side effect of, well, leaking. I am an expecting mother, and came to Carri to proactively work on my pelvic floor, safe exercise practices, and minimize diastasis recti. In the past 6 months, I've been very pleased with the quality of care and service:l. I have referred a fellow expecting mother, who also had a glowing experience! Service/Environment: She made me feel very comfortable, walking me through steps she was taking (because it already is an uncomfortable situation!). I appreciated her thoughtfulness in creating a warm environment while taking precautions for hygiene and COVID. She had linens available to make you feel relaxed along with other items! Again, a plus when you're going in to get your lady parts examined! Professionalism/knowledge: Carri was able to provide a wealth of knowledge to address my concerns. There is a range of information on the web about perineal massages, and Carri was able to provide insight on why and what information/practices would be helpful to reduce tearing. Masking: Carri, like other medical facilities and offices in LA county, still requires patients to mask up. If you forget your mask, she has extra she can provide. Working with DR Carri was a great experience! I was diagnosed with prostatitis years ago, after seeing multiple urologists (none of them recommended a physical therapist) I was stuck with the symptoms of prostatitis and no real answers. Carrie is the absolute best in the field of pelvic physical therapy. How do I know? I am a Physical Therapist myself. What I understand when it comes to receiving care to the pelvic region, is that it is hard to admit that you need help there. You accept and hope it goes away. My first time seeing Dr. Carri was when I was 7 months pregnant. I went in to get professional guidance on the health of my pelvic floor overall, advice on some stress incontinence that I've had in the past and was observing again in pregnancy, and general advice (ok--calming of the nerves really!) for how to prep for pushing and labor since this is my first child. She was incredibly warm and friendly from hello, which is always key when you're meeting someone you have to be a bit vulnerable with at first meeting. Dr. Carri was patient, went through my history and concerns thoroughly and took the time to answer all of my questions (there were a lot). She is compassionate and highly professional and I'm so glad I went to see her. She's such a great asset to have amongst your health care providers--and I would strongly recommend her if you need a PT, and especially someone well experienced in pelvic floor physical therapy. She's wonderful and I already know I'm seeing her post-birth to make sure I'm recovering as best as I can. Also--I saw her during the pandemic and she kept everything well organized, clean, wore proper PPE, minimized people waiting around her office, and maintained distance to the extent practicable (this is physical therapy we are talking about--she has to be near you). She took the time to create a safe space, answer my many questions, and let me confirm i really understood. I so happened to stumble across Dr. Carri at the perfect timing and knew what she specialized in could maybe help me finally. Dr. Carri is just fantastic and so highly knowledgeable in her area of expertise. I had a very traumatic birth experience in March, with both pushing for a long labor and then having emergency c-section. Besides health issues with my daughter, just going through major surgery and pushing really made me think about my health and recovery. I followed the reviews, and they didn't let me down. Dr. Carri showed me so many different techniques, like massaging my c-section scar (which my dr was so pressed with how it's healing- I think its bc of the massaging!), some additional hip massage, and lastly, exercises I can do to get my core back to what it was. Even with being very fit before, there are things your body can and just cannot do,in each step in postpartum. Dr. Carri was patient with me and helped me realize what I can achieve each week, and gave me so many exercises I was able to put into practice at home. I came to find Dr. Carrie after having a bad experience with a large PT "shop" after being diagnosed with Pudendal Neuralgia from cycling. The previous PT was not familiar with my issues or treatment. They seemed less concerned with my treatment and more focused on getting patients in the door. I told the other PT I had pain doing squats and was told just to never do them again... Shortly after that I searched for a knowledgeable professional who had experience with these issues who could actually help me. I sought physical therapy due to diastasis recti, hip pain, back pain, shoulder pain...basically every pain that comes from giving birth to a baby and breastfeeding. Carri was kind and very attentive, listened to all my symptoms, and took the time to explain everything in a way I understood. She taught me exercises and stretches that have saved me so much pain. I'm one year postpartum and before seeing her I thought I would just have to live with the pain I experienced. But after just 3 sessions with her I'm already feeling so much better and stronger.
