First, I was baited in by "Check in now and the remaining part of the first month is free", so I made a reservation and checked in around the 15th of the month and received the remaining part of the month "Free", except this flim-flam of a company charged me for their insurance $15.00. When I made the reservation, I attempted to upload my cert if insurance, however this part of the website did not work, so I sent it to them in an email. This did not make any difference. As I drove into the facility, I looked at the building overhang that the assigned me. There was literally a river (rain run off) 3 feet wide directly in front of the space! No way was I going to attempt to drive a 20 ton, 45 foot long motorhome into that space. The gravel and base was like :quick sand"! I then proceeded to go to another space on my own and the front end of the coach sank half way up to the middle of the front wheel! Try calling them and Ai tells you "I will make a note to have the SITE MANAGER call you. This entire building I was in have ZERO electric! I called and told the the issue with the space that they assigned and told them what space I was in. "The site manage will call you:". Eight phone calls and no return call! Now they advise me that since I did not fill our a lease, I was being charged for the past 3 months an additional $35.00 per month. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BAIT & SWITCH COMPANY. The reps are rude and the Ai sucks the big one. Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and go to the competitor that may charge more that Rec Nation's advertised rate and you won't have a substandard facility with maintenance issues! This company feels that once they have your credit or debit card, THAT THEY OWN IT!

For over a year, the door leading into the building where my indoor unit is located has been unlocked. Every time I come to the unit, I tell them I am not comfortable going into an unlocked building. Today, I was told the same thing I have been told every time. "A work order has been put in, but because it is just one door, there is no hurry. The only thing I can tell you is you can move to another building, I guess." This is unacceptable.

They are very quick to help you when needed. The site stays clean. I signed up during a one month free promotion and opted to discount my monthly payments instead of taking the first month free- this is definitely the way to go if you're storing long term as the price does raise just a little over a certain period of time. So if you choose this option it'll just go up to about the regular price instead of starting there and going higher. I've only ever had issues getting into the gate once due to a system error while the office was closed but a quick call to the kind reps on the 800 number got me the temporary access code needed to get in while they corrected it. The units are very secure and temp controlled. No pest issues or funky smells. No issues of break ins. The manager is the most wonderful woman you will meet and is very willing to work with you as much as she can if your payment is going to be late. I tend to be on the forgetful side so thankfully they give you a call to remind you before you occur any late fees and there's a nice grace period. 10/10 would recommend this storage place to anyone looking to tuck their things away for a little or long time.

I reserved a unit from Cubesmart and they called me within 5 minutes of the reservation to discuss my needs. The manager, Mitch, is very friendly, knows the property and will have you in your rental unit in 15 minutes. I highly recommend CubeSmart for it's location, cleanliness and no hassle policies. One note - you will have to purchase rental insurance that is at least $12 a month for $2000 worth of coverage with a $100 deductible. They will waive the insurance if you can provide proof of your own prior to renting. So just add $12 to their rental quote and you are good to go!
