It's mostly a Popeye souvenir shop, with some old collectible items on display (not for sale) as well as an old antique shop attached to it. This is housed in an old opera house where Popeye creator Elzie Segar worked at. His boss inspired the Wimpy character. It's like taking a step back in time while browsing through the old comic book displays, as well as old Popeye toys. The lady who runs the place has even said that she has over 5,000 more items to display but unfortunately the building is not big enough to show them all! (The upstairs are apartments) I bought some magnets and shot glasses (two things I mostly collect when I visit places). I'm sure they have what you're looking for. Just remember - this is the one place in the world that is all things Popeye!

Dogs are welcome in the store. There's a wide selection of Popeye memorabilia that they've collected over the years along with new stuff like t-shirts for the whole family. The owner Nancy is so helpful and knowledgeable and gets in new things all the time catered to left handed people.
