I searched and found Westlake Village Family Services. I explained to Dr Kaufman that I completed a certain amount of classes and didn't want to lose the credit. From the get go he was extremely helpful, explained the classes are in the evenings and conducted by his wife Rhonda, forwarded me all the paperwork so I can continue my DV classes that same week. I really looked forward to Rhonda's classes , I appreciated the fact that she took time to ask each of us how our week has been, asked us about any updates with our cases that we wanted to share, and all the ladies in the class were so welcoming. It really felt good to have a safe place to talk about all the unfortunate things that were going on, when I couldn't discuss them with my friends or family. Each class she did exercises with us that helped me gained a lot of insight. I was also court ordered to do individual therapy and asked Dr Kaufman if he had any availability which luckily he did. Dr Kaufman is truly one of a kind because he is invested in his clients success. For almost two years he has helped me tremendously with my DCFS case always listened, guided me, helped me stay positive, and truly wanted me get my son back.
