Best cappuccino I have had in a long time! Great coffee (Colectivo) and nice foam. And in a ceramic mug. Very friendly staff who recommended a nice place for dinner (Kurtz's). Red Bank Coffee is in Schroeder's Department Store. A step back in time! read more

2022 update, keeping it short and simple this is still the best coffee shop in the greater Two Rivers/Manitowoc area. I stop here every day as part of my morning walk where this is definately one of the highlites of my trip when visiting family in the area. Now if only I could pack these guys up and take them back home with me to Michigan life would be good (: read more

Great latte's and Americano (caff and decaf) as well as selection of coffee beans, fancy coffee/espresso/frappe's, and snacks for purchase. One of the town hangout spots, loved the ladies playing cards Sat morning catching up on the news, and great shop to browse through while you wait and lots of seating. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but the barista's do the best they can with small staff and equipment - they were great! read more

Red Bank is a small, quaint coffeehouse tucked away in a corner of the Schroeder's Department store. The barista there was super friendly to me and all the other customers he interacted with. There's a nice variety of drinks, and they're cheap! I got an earl grey tea for $1.50! This is a perfect spot to meet friends for a chat and relax on a weekend morning. There was a group of ladies playing a quarters game and they get together every week. This is a true hidden gem to check out if you ever find yourself in Two Rivers. read more

I was confused when I saw the entrance to this coffee shop in a retail store (not being from the area), and was a tad underwhelmed at the little coffee nook tucked away in the corner, but shame on me for judging a book by it's cover. The barista could not have been friendlier, telling us about all the hot spots in the area, recommending we visit their local event in the town square that evening. I must have looked puzzled gazing up at the menu, so she said "Whaddya like at Starbucks? I can duplicate anything they've got!" I laughed and knew I was in good hands. I ended up ordering their "Chai Charger" (at 2.50 for a 16 oz?!! What a deal!!) and it was as delicious as ever. It was an iced chai and espresso - yummm. Bonus points for having those compostable cups. This place might seem meh at first, but as soon as you open the book and start reading, you'll be so glad you didn't pass it up! read more

I stopped in to this coffee shop while my youngest daughter was playing in basketball tournament. I would recommend a stop to get your favorite cup of joe. They don't have a ton of seating, but it has a lot of character. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. It looks like they serve colectivo coffee, so if you like their stuff, this is the place to go. read more

This is a must stop place if traveling through Two Rivers, or if you live in the area. Red Bank is located inside the Schroeder's Department Store building. *See our review on Schroeder's. Red Bank is warm and welcoming. It smells amazing and is visually stimulating! I like the quaintness of it. It's not overly large, has character, and offers so much more than the average coffee house. You can sit back and relax while enjoying a signature drink from a large selection made just for you (cold or hot), or go shopping in the historic building with drink in hand. In the warmer months there is outside seating. With your pet? Give them a call and they will bring your drink out to you. I personally like plain old black coffee, hot or cold with low acidity, so my favorite thing was the whole bean coffee drawers. I ordered a pound of the Velo and they ground it to meet the needs of my coffee maker at home. And guess what? It was easy figuring out which to buy because the acidity levels are on the description card. Not intimidating at all. My husband had a hot tea and was just as happy as I was. If you have a sweet tooth they also have yummy treats to compliment your drink and satisfy your sweet tooth. read more

We stopped after camping for a latte on our drive back to Milwaukee. The lattes were awful; burnt taste to milk (soy and coconut), zero foam on top, and the taste overall was not drinkable. We have amazing coffee shops in Milwaukee and know a good latte! Don't waste your time. We literally drove 2 blocks away and dumped both of them in the trash on the avenue. read more

In 1997, our Grandma "Connie" Schroeder had an idea: open a coffee shop. She was a smart lady and we took her advice. The store at one time housed a bank - the "Two Rivers Savings Bank" known as the Red Bank. That bank space is now occupied by the Red Bank Coffeehouse, a quaint area overlooking Two Rivers Central Park and main street. The store at one time housed a bank - the "Two Rivers Savings Bank" known as the Red Bank. That bank space is now occupied by the Red Bank Coffeehouse, a quaint area overlooking Two Rivers Central Park and main street.

Meet the Business Owner: Theresa AJ S.

As kids we cleaned, now we still clean and do almost everything else. AJ can do it all, but steam milk. Theresa can do it all, but hem your pants. We are very ying and yang and love hanging out with each other just as much as we like working together. Our husbands can't understand how we can work together all day and want to be with each other at night.

Without even being asked, the day before our wedding, Linda came to the venue to set up and make sure everything was in order. Linda's cheesecakes were definitely the talk of our wedding, everyone loved them! Many guests had seconds and we had no left overs! My husband and I plan to order an annual cheesecake from her as an anniversary tradition. Throughout this process, Linda became a dear friend. I would recommend her to anyone!

I am not usually one for coffee, however when I came here I felt myself enjoying coffee for the very first time in my life. The flavor is intense and relaxing and warm, it is a genuine delicacy and lovely experience. Every time I come back here to get coffee I am shocked with how good it is. Its like I forget, and then I take a sip and its not how I expected- it is always as good as the first time. The people there are also very nice, and its nice and quiet. I truly do love this place, and I feel very proud that it is by somewhere I live. It makes me feel grateful to live here. I hope this place stays open for a long time. These guys are competitors of ours down the street, but I gotta give 'em props because the cat who runs the place runs a good ship. Nic Borneman is an SCAA Certified Barista and knows his stuff. Their customer service is top notch and it's a great place to go when you're in town (that is, if Stumpjack Coffee Co. across the street happens to closed when you're in town). They're located in an old-time department store, so while you're there you can shop for shoes or a cool necktie or even some long underwear too! They get 4 stars from me just because I can't yield that 5th star out of principle. read more

I visit the Red Bank Coffeehouse almost every day since I moved here from the Madison area. They have the BEST coffee in the area. I have tried many spots in Manitowoc and always end up returning to the Red Bank because of the quality. The staff is excellent (especially Kristina & Vanessa) and always smiling. I preferred my visit on a weekday morning simply because it was less crowded and less busy; Saturday was packed including a chess tournament going on. On both visits I ordered a peppermint latte "for here" and was served in a big mug with just the right amount of peppermint and milk froth. I had a few of their pastries which I believe are made in house including the sugar cookie (decorated as Mr. Narwhal from the movie Elf) and the oatmeal chocolate muffin. My friend had the breakfast burrito with salsa and sour cream options added on, he said it was ok at best with too much sauce. Overall, pretty good spot with lots of natural light to either chill or get some work done. Anyone looking for a down home relaxing coffee shop in Manitowoc needs to make their way over to Jenn's.
