You order at the bar and then wait in that area until you are seated at a table in the dining room. While we waited, we decided to try a couple of their fall cocktails. Not great, the drinks were very weak and you could tell were made with the cheapest booze available. Presentation was neat but the first sip quickly disintegrated the hype. Food: I have a nagging suspicion that most of what we ordered was not made fresh in-house. Everyone at our table ordered pasta except for one kid's meal and when glancing around at the tables around us, everyone had ordered just pizza. I think that is what this place is know for because their pasta ain't it. My wife and I tried the gnocchi and ravioli. You could tell they were not made in-house, especially the gnocchi (gummy, chewy texture is a dead giveaway. True homemade gnocchi will melt in your mouth). The sauces lacked spunk and everything just tasted canned and frozen to me. Portion sizes were also on the smaller side yet prices were expensive. $18 for frozen/packaged ravioli in a maybe homemade sauce (didn't taste like it)? Yeah right. Every chef knows that pasta is an easy dish to make good money on because pasta is cheap and easy to make, $18 for pasta with no protein additions is absurd. I will say the kid's pizza was probably the best dish on the table. You could tell that was made fresh and with real ingredients. Not sure why that did not translate to the pastas. So weird. Verdict: Staff were friendly and service was prompt but the food and drinks were lackluster at best. Not worth the price for a sit down meal, more along the line of quick service. Not sure if something was just off the night we went since this place is fairly well liked in the area, not sure.

Their was 1 women waiting on her order and after she received hers it was approx 6-7 minutes before the only women working on what looked to be 3 subs by herself noticed me and asked if I had been helped yet, I told her no ma'am and she stopped what she was doing and took my order. I finally got my order and paid, the women who cashed me out (not the pleasent women who took my order) never smiled or said "Thank you", maybe she was having a bad day or was just tired..not a major deal but I always believe customer service is a MUST. *I also made eye contact with an older gentlemen that was working in the back area who came out to restock the clean cups and gave him a smile with none given back* I ordered the Sicilian sub and It was spicy as it advertised so I enjoyed the first half but the second have lost it's appeal due to the spiceiness of the sub so I definitely will not be getting that again. The service was fantastic all night. And the food. You get what you pay for, truly. This is a nice spot and the food is drool worthy. They do something I've not seen before with the bill. They add the tax to each individual item before they total the bill. Confusing when trying to figure out the tip. I did find a price error on one of my items, which they corrected when I pointed it out. (Onion Rings were listed at $7 , but he computer picked them at $8.33). Yes they are mozzarella sticks and can maybe satisfy a craving if needed, but they're not as good as Italian breaded for wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks. I'm not usually a big fan of charbroiled burgers and I could tell the meat was out of a frozen box of patties, but it was a solid tasting burger. It didn't come with a side, which for the price I assumed was the case ($7.50 as of 2/3/2025). That might be the most I would pay for it, but would consider getting it again. Like the burger, the perch sandwich did not come with a side, so $10 for a single butterfly of perch on a roll was close to my wallet's limit, but that was a tasty piece of fish. I don't find myself in Manitowoc often, but if I did I'd be intrigued by their double perch plate on Fridays given the quality of the the perch in this sandwich. The star of the meal was the taco egg rolls. The size of a typical veggie spring roll and in the same crispy wrapper, these egg rolls come in an order of three or six and I wish I had ordered six instead of three. The taco meat had an amazing kick to it and there was enough cheese inside to be noticeable yet not take away from the meat. I didn't end up using the sour cream or nacho cheese they provided because I wanted to savor the flavor of the egg roll itself, but I appreciate having both options to dip them in.
