Always awesome, unique food choices! Just got Salmon on board, side of Mac and cheese , hubby got the chicken fingers dinner delivered via TOAST! Amazingly good. Zero complaints since their opening!!! Well, ok, just one. Sooooo many customers one night sadly ended our visit. NOT their fault, just their popularity!!! They also have some clothing, and other things on the side for sale that I've bought! Softest hoodie ever! No exaggeration! Cool environment, bar (big beer manufacturing) and their tables! Went to this place on one of those somewhat rare beautiful late afternoons when the temperature wasn't too cold to sit outside in Two Rivers. The patio was busy and had piped in music playing at the perfect level so you could hear each other talk, yet enjoy the music. (Unfortunately today's choice was country!) Had a couple of reasonably priced drinks that were okay, both the Margarita and Berry Old Fashioned were both a bit too sweet for my liking. Loved the menu though. Most everything came as part of a "flight" which means the food came with multiple choices of flavors. (You can also order individual items too). We tried a chicken finger flight with blue cheese, a berry vinaigrette and a really good BBQ sauce. It was good, but my favorite was the BBQ Sauce. read more

Randomly stopped after driving thru town. Love all the different flight offerings for drinks, food and...dessert. Tried the apple cider old fashioned, warmed and it was delicious!! We didn't really need anything to eat but the mousse flight sounded too good to pass up. And I was not disappointed. Our server was new and dropped the first flight (it was in martini glasses so I'm pretty sure I would have done that too) but they quickly remade them. We came to Cool City Brewing Company on a Saturday evening to hear this Jazz artist. The small lot was full at 5 pm. We parked on the street. When you walk in, you can see the large tanks that hold the craft beer in the process of brewing. The decor is modern and cozy. We were greeted immediately and seated near the entertainment which featured a Jazz pianist. Blue Louis is an artist from Sheyboygan. He skillfully played his arrangement of contemporary and classic songs. We sat at a 2 top and had a very attentive waitress. I started off with one of their craft beers. The also offered samples of any beer on the menu. They have a list of cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu. I ordered the loaded nachos which I shared with my wife. This is house-made fresh nacho chips loaded with beer cheese, pico, chives, avocado, bell pepper creme. Add crispy chicken +$3 | Add steak +$4 Less. The nachos were crisp, the toppings fresh. The dish was well seasoned, but not spicy. We were able to stay for the full 3 hours without feeling rushed to leave. I was scrolling through Facebook events and noticed an ad for Jazz night at the brewery. My husband and I like Jazz music so we put it on our calander. The Jazz night was on a Saturday night from 5-8. We arrived a little before 5 and it was the dinner rush. We found a seat close to the entertainment and were greeted shortly after. After reviewing the menu, I decided on a margarita mocktail and a iced caramel macchiato. My husband and I ordered the nachos to share. There are options to add chicken or ground beef to the nachos. We chose the ground beef. The service was fast and friendly and our drinks amd nachos were out shortly after ordering. The nachos were so good. We ordered the small and was the perfect amount for us to share. My margarita was perfect and couldn't tell there wasn't a lick of alcohol in it. :). My caramel macchiato was sweet and delicious. The Jazz pianist that night was Blue Louis. He took a mix of contemporary, Jazz, show tunes, country, love songs and jazzed them up. He is an expert pianist and welcomed our comments and questions. We thoroughly enjoyed it and are hoping Cool City will consider another Jazz night! read more

Went for lunch. I had a brat wurst flight. What a joke! It was one small bratwurst cut in 3 pieces, and each piece was on a small dinner roll with a different condiment. The cost was $18. it also included chips but you had to pay 75 cents for the dip to go with the chips. One small bratwurst and some chips and dip for $18.75. First off, this is a really cool space. Huge indoor area with fun games and activities and a really nice patio. We opted for the patio and it was seat yourself for lunch. I can't speak to their beers because I opted for a cider, but they sounded good. My son and I ordered the perch plate. It looks huge however almost all of it was breading. I don't mind some but it was overpowering and also not all the way cooked. It was still gooey in some places. We picked most of it off. Just at the spur of a moment we stopped to check this place out! A lady outside said to come in we only had 30 minutes left so we ventured in. There were dueling pianos going on. Some of the workers were dressed in German attire suggesting Octoberfest. They were fine up as the city had an ethnic fest that day. We listened for a bit got a beer pumpkin spice which was like no other-lightly spiced; great carbonation and fruity but no over powering. I had a nice Octoberfest beer! Tasty and just right flavor. Malty and sweetness and just the right amount of hops. The dueling piano men were totally awesome. If only for the 45 minutes we watched and sang to. Everyone was singing along and having fun. This place was awesome! They've got a section of their patio that is dog friendly (it looks like they implemented criticism from older reviews). They even gave my little buddy a biscuit that he greatly enjoyed! I love their concept with all their different flights (both of drinks and food). Will definitely be returning! read more

This was my first stop upon arriving in the Two Rivers/Manitowoc area and was surprisingly impressed with the selection of beer & food that was available. The atmosphere was very cool, think of a very polished garage with plenty of seating both in booths or high tops. I sat at the bar and was facing the brewing equipment. The bartender on Sunday night was also the brewmaster and is very knowledgeable about beer and the brewing process if you are interested. I must have come at the wrong time but I was one of 6 people in the large brewery restaurant; a little strange but beyond that I proceeded to order. I ordered a beer flight of bartender's choice and was very happy with the selection I received. The beer was good but very basic, not something I would necessarily purchase a case to take home but good for while at the restaurant. For food, I ordered the mac and cheese flight, technically an appetizer but I had it as a main meal, and they were awesome but VERY rich. You get 3 decent size ramekins that are filled to the brim with food. I really liked the cheesesteak mac the most as the flavors of the grilled peppers/onions and steak cut through the richness of the cheese. Overall good brewery with decent food and beer. If you are looking for a low key spot to go for a few beers and a pretzel or two this is your place. PSA they also have a coffee section of the brewery but I did not try it. read more

I prefer tapas or appetizers to big meals because you get a taste of things but most places the apps are too big to order a bunch of them for 2 people. cool city fixed that with the food flights! Several items can be served as a 3 piece sampling. Such a great idea and we loved every one !! Beer was also really good but only one ipa and one Ipl the day we went but they were good. Amazing staff that were friendly and efficient. The place has a nice industrial vibe as well I almost did not go thinking it was a coffee brewing place after seeing only the drive through but glad I saw the huge brew tanks. !! read more

This is an excellent brewery with great ambiance (and really good beer). They have notably upped their game and addressed issues from their startup days - mainly, the food has really gotten good. I rate the beer 5 stars; the food 4 stars. They now offer a flight price AND happy hour pricing (and lots of flight options!!!). Yes, they have a kids menu - but so does Hooters. We came here on a busy Saturday with kids while in town for vacation. Love the blend of rustic and modern charm interior. We didn't get a server after sitting down so the hostess placed our meal orders. There was a big wedding party at the high top so I guess they we're running short. Our food arrived and it was delicious! The kiddos got the chicken with fries plus an ice cream sundae as a dessert. Our tacos were very juicy and flavorful (maybe not so much with the shrimp one). The cheese curd slider, grilled chicken as well as the pulled pork were excellent! The owner came to our table at the end and chatted with us. It made up for the initial wait. First time going here, and we were pleasantly surprised! Had a fish fry and it was one of the best perch meals we have ever had. The fish was fresh and delicious and had a nice light batter. Portions were large, and they have very friendly staff. We would love to come back with more people to try some of the flights they offer, including Bloody Mary's, Margaritas, and Old Fashioneds. Upbeat, local brewery and coffee shop in the heart of downtown. Our server was friendly and quick. We both got the smoking king served on a corn bread bun with sweet potato tots. The pulled pork flavor was sweet, but had a kick which was very good! The bun was ok but not like what I pictured a cornbread bun to be or taste like. The sweet potato tots were delicious! My family and I were in town from out of state. We stopped by Cool City on our first night in town. The atmosphere was great - we ate outside - and our server was friendly and attentive. For starters, we had the cheese curd flight and they were great! I had the taco flight and it was very tasty and filling. My son had the chicken sandwich and enjoyed it with french fries. First of all, our waitress was awesome. But, the bartenders walked passed us two three times with out acknowledging us. Finally, we went to the register where the owner finally asked a bartender to take our order. I'm a mug club member since the beginning , I used to love going in there and waved the flag for them. No more! Ok, the Badgers were on the screens, we asked the bartenders to turn off the lounge music and put the sound on for the football game. They gave a couple of weak excuses why they couldn't. We asked the waitress our issue. She went to the owner who was entertaining her family. We had enough already, we're. upset. Three groups were watching the football game who wanted sound. Then the volume went on. Too late. We went somewhere else to enjoy our Saturday. I understand you don't want to make it a sports bar. But then why is the football game on, and you have Coors light, and Busch Light on tap? This establishment used to have a full roster of craft brew. I've been here twice before and the service was good, so when we had company out of town we thought it would be a nice place to bring them for lunch. While it was the holiday weekend and we expected a wait, we did not anticipate a 30 minute wait to be acknowledged. When someone at our party mentioned the long wait, the response was "well you could have ordered at the bar" again all well and good if that was something that was explicitly posted or stated when we walked in. After our order we waited an additional 45 minutes to receive our food. And that was after someone in our party went to inquire about our food. Our order was not a complicated one. Stopped by Cool City Brewing to check it out. The idea of the sampler food platters peaked our interest. The beer selection as well as the full bar options makes this place even great for all tastes. The ability to order a beer flight as well as a liquor flight is a nice option if someone is not a beer drinker. The food options as well as the sampler options were impressive and more than we expected. The smashed burger and the slider sampler were our choices - both very good. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drink options. Stopped by frequently to check on us and chat - very nice. The owner also swung by and talked to us for awhile, very personable guy. The conversation of old bank to brewery was done very tastefully with the old bank vault available for small gatherings. It wasn't the best do not recommend. I came here with my parents because we were in town and my sister ordered the kids meal. What was in it was the Mac n cheese and it was disgusting! I usually love any types of noodles (my favorite food) but it didn't even taste like they added cheese. It was just a little bit of graded cheese on the top and it tastes like buttery noodles which I love but it just tasted off. Now about the smash burgers which my dad ordered it was just like an average burger not really special and very messy. It was $10 my family personally thought that was overpriced because it was very small and did no fill him up. It was only worth about $5. The salads were ok they were good and about the average price. I love cheese curds but when I got them as an appetizer for $15 they were not outstanding and I wasn't pleased with them. They also came with sauces but they were a bit funky like a blackberry sauce on cheese curds interesting not my favorite. Back to my sisters kid meal she got oranges as her side they weren't even ripe and they were also sour! It also came with a kids meal (a ice cream sundae) but they were out of ice cream so they offered us a donut we waited atleast 45 minutes for it. Three different waiters asked us did you get your donuts yet it seemed like they wanted us to leave, I don't recommend this place. But the only thing is the exterior and interior. read more

This was somewhere I wanted to go since they opened. Our party got a flight of old fashions and they were delicious, just as we expected! In fact this is really the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. Everything else that followed was less than acceptable. We ordered a flight of Mac n cheese and a flight of tacos. The tacos were 2.5/5 stars. One of them tasted liked it had cinnamon in it, was terrible. Now let's get to the Mac n cheese sliders. Hands down the most disgusting and disappointing food I've had in years. After having everyone at our table taste this to make sure I wasn't exaggerating, this is what followed. The Mac all tasted like Kraft Mac n cheese by the way. The pulled pork one was the only good one that was edible. The Philly cheesesteak Mac was the grossest thing I've ever eaten. It tasted like a scab. Just gross. I'm not sure what it was, but every single person at our table couldn't eat even the forkful that we tried . We would have ordered something different but it took 45 minutes for just ordering Mac n cheese. The waitress was very nice, and the inside of the place is clean and had a nice atmosphere. We went here for lunch, and the place was charming. The people were amicable. I realize this establishment is new and will have a lot to work out during the next few months. Anyway, the first thing we ordered were drinks. I ordered a herbal tea, and my friend had a Vanilla Latte Freeze. The Latte tasted like an overly sweet milkshake. The herbal tea was good, although nowhere could I read what herbs were in the drink. I ordered the Drunken Philly with mushrooms and steak. My friend ordered the Chicken Sammy. It took a long time to get our order, and a table of six that came in after we did were served their meals before ours. The Chicken Sammy was ok. The Drunken Philly came to the table without the mushrooms on it, and the sandwich left an aftertaste in my mouth that I still tasted after two hours. The French fries were delicious. Overall the best part of the experience there was our waitress. She was awesome! I'll go back in three months and see how they've improved. read more

I've never been to a place three days in a row but here we are. First night it was for a wedding rehearsal. Was able to sample and drink most of the beers on tap. The sliders and chicken were both delicious. Service was perfect. The second day we just had coffee. They have lots of options. The third day we had lunch.
