No fancy bells or whistles, but I believe it was nine dollars to clean my SUV and definitely worth the time I saved from doing it myself. Went to the red barn car wash on Highway 212 and the hours stated 10 AM to 6 PM, but they were closed on Saturday, March 1. I went to the office and there were two employees and they said they were closed for 30 minutes. I was wondering why one person couldn't run the Carwash and the other person take lunch or whatever, but I saw no less than seven people Also come in to get a car wash and be told the same thing when they stepped in the office. The two dudes were not very polite and they looked like they were highschoolers? I'm not sure who owns this company, but you're gonna lose business. I'm never going there again. Beings my truck is red, it's turned out absolutely beautiful. The Touchless car wash really did a good job.If you want a nice shine. It made my truck nice and soft. We have been coming here forever. Same truck every time. We tried to go today and we were refused because we have a trailer hitch on our truck. It's a standard ball. This is the best car wash that I've ever been to! The facility is clean and well kept and the staff friendly and quick. The foam is thicker than from competitors and the spongey cleaners (the strips that spin around and scrub your car) are thicker and do a considerably better job at cleaning than others. The car wash damaged my car and the owner declined to pay for the repairs. The sign at the entrance to the car wash says they will not pay for damage to "aftermarket accessories." The part damaged on my car was part of the car when I drove it off the lot brand new. I guess that doesn't matter anyway because the owner told me he doesn't pay for damage of any kind because the "carwash doesn't damage vehicles." I can assure you this is not an isolated case. The car wash does a decent job, especially considering it fits a large full size pick-up. The lack of stars in my review is based on the fact that about 50% of the time, they are either still closed in the morning when the times posted show they should be open... or they are closed in the afternoon an hour or two before they should be. If you want repeat customers, don't say your open when you're not and expect someone to drive there with their fingers crossed. I've since found a different carwash for my truck. I'll give you another chance if my truck needs a wash and I happen to drive by your place. I have been going to the Red Barn car wash on highway 212 for over 10 years and have taken my cars and those of my family (all various makes/models of SUVs all with factory-installed roof racks) to this location too many times to count. Today, Saturday September 3, 2022, I went out of my way (because prior to today, this was the *only* car wash I'd go to due to the attention to detail and the quality of the washes) to the Red Barn to try and get my car washed. I got there and the attendant, (short, white male with long, greasy hair) said they wouldn't wash my car because of the original, factory-installed roof racks and because someone got their roof rack taken off "the other day." There have been signs up at this location for years that you use the wash at the vehicle owner's risk and now it's all of a sudden a problem? If this has happened more than once to original, factory-installed roof racks, they need to replace and update their machines and equipment. If this was a one time situation or something that happened because of excessively tall or oversized roof racks, then that's the fault of the vehicle owner. You have lost my business permanently. read more

Pretty mediocre car wash. Used to come here just because it's close to home. Be advised however, their car wash machines will damage your car. Their blow dryer blew my radio antenna right off (nub antenna not a long one that sticks out). When I notified the workers in the front what happened, they told me it happens all the time and that they aren't responsible for the damage their machines cause. Went to get my car washed at the new car wash on 82nd across from Fred Meyer's and they told me I had to take my trailer hitch off for the back of my truck would not get cleaned as they would restrict the rollers she was happy to tell me that the sides in the front of my truck would be clean but not the back nor the lid over the bed. Didn't have a key with me so I went to the red barn car wash they did an excellent job and it was cheaper and I didn't have to remove my trailer hitch. If I'm going to go through a car wash, I always go for the Red Barn because I like that the employees wash down the front and back of your car before the actual wash. That being said: the price has gone up $1 twice since opening. Keep it up and I'll stop coming around, Red Barn. Especially now that Washman offers free vacuums with every wash. read more

These guys always do a good job. The prices are simple and cheap. The wash is quality. My only complaint is that they sometimes start spraying water before I have had a chance to roll my window up completely. It makes me feel a little stabby. As long as I work in Clackamas... Stop! Don't even get in line if there is more then 2 cars. We stopped for a "quick" car wash on New Year's Day, there were 5 cars in front of us and we thought that wasn't too bad. Wrong! The guy came out and took our money really fast but I think that was so we couldn't bail. We waited for about 45 min! 3 cars behind us left but since we had already paid we felt stuck. The guy prepping the cars didn't even start the next one until the one ahead was totally through the car wash. Then he proceeded with absolutely no sense of urgency at all. Slower then a slug. This was my 1st and last time. I pulled up, no one was behind me or in front of me so I took about 30 seconds to long for the attendant because he started yelling loudly and motioning for me to pull forward, rolling his eyes and mocking me to the other attendant. I brought to his attention that I saw him and that I was speaking to my child explaining what we were doing and making sure that all the windows we secure before I pulled forward. He denied it and then proceeded to start rinsing my car while the window was still down. Save your money and don't go for the utterly clean because it won't be. Just got my car washed here and neither the front nor the back of my car was even touched. What a rip off! I should have been suspicious when the workers didn't do the regular manual scrubbing before you go through the automated part. I guess 5:30 PM was too close to closing and they stopped that part of the service, but for full price and a name like utterly clean I didn't expect to have to go home and finish the job myself. If I could give no stars I would. Sad I'm stuck with another 10 washes from this place because I bought a frequent wash card. Buyer beware. First of all, this is an automated car was people. If you wanted your car to come out spotless, then buy a sponge and wash your own car in your own driveway. Went here for the first time 1/26/17. The employees are like 20 something kids not 50 year old mansion butlers...did other reviewers expect their feet to be kissed? I thought they were very friendly and found no issues there.
