Been here several times and have never had an issue until today. The soap stained my car blue in several areas. Tried using the high pressure wash over it and scrubbing it with a cloth I brought with me and the blue stain would not come off. The blue also stained my skin, clothing and after looking around noticed its stained the buildings walls. Tried to call the number posted on their site and the phone is off. Hello friends, another local review for you. A couple years back when I landed in Oregon, I was renting in L.O. and was using a work vehicle that I was responsible for its maintenance & appearance. L.O. had no self serve car washes so I looked in Milwaukee where it eventually ended up being stored. So Scrubby's ended up being just minutes down the street. It's always been clean and set at a fair price. This last wash I ended up moving down a few spots from my favorite bay, and to my surprise, they have a hand held air drier to finish your car off in the bay. They have a larger open bay on the end for oversized vehicles. Vacuums and a fragrance machine. Also they have a vending machine with snacks a car detailing stuff, like armor all wipes, window wipes, fragrances and so on. To the owner! 5 stars for this amazing place everything works great, very clean and I hope you bring back the colorful brush foam back. There will always be haters don't worry about them. I visited this car wash on 09/15/2022. I swiped my credit card in one of the wash bays - and nothing worked, although I could see it processed my card and the timer was running. I could not get the sprayer to operate. I went to another bay, swiped my card, and did a quick wash on my card. This time the system worked, however, it did not get my car very clean. I checked my credit card account this morning, and Scrubby's had charged my card $40.00!!! This is the most outrageous rip-off I've ever experienced!! Avoid this car wash at all cost. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this self wash. In CA (where I am at least) it's hard to find a good one that reliably has all the wash chemicals still in stock no matter the time of day. I took a decent drive to get to this wash after visiting 2 others that were packed. I could have washed it a bit better but started off just thinking I would rinse some dirt off. After seeing the pre soak come out as well as it did, I decided I had to take the time to use the tire/wheel cleaner and clean the engine bay. I was pleased with the amount it cost, I took my time so I wasn't in a rush or cared at how much it might be. Believe it said there was a limit which is nice to prevent from overcharging. Not sure how long it has been since others have been here but this spot is worth checking out. This is a great place for a Do-It-Yourself car wash. Near SW 192nd & SW Alexander St. or SW 192nd & SW Tualatin Valley Hwy (aka TV Hwy). Points in its favor: Seems like it is the only Do-It-Yourself place near here. No waiting (*at least when I go*). Everything works. Nothing freaky or weird about the location. (I always end up there when it gets dark, and while not exactly comfortable? I have never had a problem). $1.75 for a car wash, for starters. (Has a change machine, of course.) Has car vacuum cleaner, car upholstery cleaner, and a stupid car fragrance station. If it is CLEAN there should not be any "perfuming" needed. But, whatever. People do far freakier things than "perfuming" their cars with a "perfume machine". Someone once got my DOG some perfume for Christmas (and NOT because he smelled). Note: I *suspect* that this place is popular on prime, sunny days. It is BEHIND the Burger King on TV Hwy. Like REALLY behind it. Don't try and see it, just try and find the Burger King and *then* you will find this place. Near SW 192nd & SW Tualatin Valley Hwy (aka TV Hwy), or SW 192nd & SW Alexander St. It is directly next to Aloha Glass on SW Alexander St, Aloha, OR. I am not sure if it's address is SW Alexander St or TV Hwy (probably Alexander considering how far back it is). I researched the hell out of it but never found it online. I just know it is a couple blocks off of SW 185th Ave and TV Hwy going westbound (towards Hillsboro). Yesterday I came to this place thinking it would be like the one on Ceder Hills BLVD. Think Again!! They have several bays for self washing to bad all but 1 were out of order! There was some one using that 1 left so I looked around and decided just to go to Ceder Hills. I also noticed that the vacuum stations had trash cans but they were all over filling with trash. The place on ceder hill takes cards and this one clearly didn't. The place is also complete run down. Save your self and just go to Ceder Hills. read more

I use this place when my truck gets super dirty after camping, hauling dirt or barkdust from McFarlands etc. I stop by here on extra dirty truck days to rinse off before going to Washman. This place has always been super clean when I stop by and all the bays I've used have always worked. They have hi pressure nozzles and they take credit cards. Today I took my truck to Scrubby's on McLoughlin Bv. As I was pressure washing the roof of my truck, I suddenly noticed that it wasn't just grime coming off--it was paint, something that has never happened at other washes (DIY or drive thru) or at home. When I called customer service, I was told it was operator error, not their equipment, and they "didn't know what else to tell me." This has got to be the worst car wash I've ever been to. Machine charged me $2.50 for a minutes worth of washing time, went to another stall and it was four minutes, no attendant to help me in those regards. Spent another $1.25 for the vacuum that had absolutely no suction. All being said I'm out $15 for a poorly washed car because of your shoddy machines. Paid for a vacuum with absolutely no suction. Late night stop for me so no attendant on site. Washed my vehicle spent time and money for the dirt to magically reappear when i drove away. Gave it one more try months later, really needed a vacuum and tried a different one than previous and surprise- another worthless vacuum that wouldn't suck up anything and of course no attendant. This is a nice self wash place. The wash bays are quite large and a large vehicle could easily fit. There is a pressure washing wand and a foaming brush. The soaps and chemicals come straight out of the wands which is both super convenient and fun. The soaps also smell very good. The wands are operated by a rotating switch selector that designates the type of soap/rinse you are using. The water is turned on by quarters or cards. Having read about the $20 charge warning when using a card from other reviews, I opted for quarter payments. There is an initial/minimum payment of $2.50 to start washing. After that, $0.25 buys you 30 seconds of water. There is a change machine available if you don't happen to lug your spare change around with you. By the end of my wash cycle I spent $10.50. If you have a larger vehicle I would expect to pay a little more given a larger surface area. There are vacuum stations right next to the bay's. I didn't use the vacuum because I heard they didn't have very good suction from a friend, and I didn't have a need to vacuum my interior. I think the vacuums cost $1.25 for 4 minutes of suction. Vacuums barley have any suction here. Not only that they are not timed for 4 minutes it's more like 2 minutes and 40 seconds (set a timer to check). I would assume the car wash part isn't timed right on purpose either. I feel like I got scammed coming here there's much better self serve car washes. Would give zero stars if I could read more

This place is good for a do it yourself.. But BEWaRE I recommend getting your quarter's worth instead of breaking the bank .. If you use the debit option its $20.00. This car wash is really as good as it gets. Tired of the drive through washes not getting into every corner of the car I wanted to lay hands on it myself and used my lunch hour to zip to Milwaukie. The car wash sits back a little in the lot but is easy to find. The friendly manager patiently showed me how it all works and I had a blast trying out the many options in the VERY clean bay. This place is so worth a trip regardless of what part of town you are in - maybe they could consider expanding to the westside? :) Scrubby's deserves five stars for friendliness, cleanliness, ease of use, and value. For a D-Y-I car wash, I guess this would be acceptable. I haven't been to a DYI carwash in twenty years so I grabbed a bag of quarters and bucket filled with microfiber towels and microfiber mitt and found Scruby's. There might be five or six bays with easy in and out access. One bay had a broken water wand. I parked in one that had a workable wand and a workable brush with an extension. I didn't want to use their brush because I would rather use a mitt that I know was without grit. The control panel takes 8 quarters. If remember correctly the modes are 1.) tire cleaner, 2.) low pressure pre-wash, 3.) low pressure brush with soap, 4.) high pressure with soap, 5.) high pressure rinse, 6.) high (or low) pressure wax. BUT it doesn't say how much time you get!! So I paid my money and started with a pre-wash and then a high pressure wash with soap. I then washed the car with my mitt. When wanted to rinse the car I was out of time! Arrrgh! So I fed the machine another 8 quarters and quickly soaped the car one more time and then rinsed off the soap and then gave it the "wax." I let the car drip off water for a few minutes and drove out of the bay to some shade beneath a tree. I guess I could have stayed in the bay to wipe down the car but I didn't know if that was standard operating procedure. All the other bays except the one with the broken wand were being used. The car looked clean after the wipe down so I guess the car wash "works." There were I think 2 vacuum stations but I don't know the cost. So I guess the next time I go there (and I will) I will know what to do (and maybe not have to pay an extra $2.00. By the way - there is a sign in each bay saying the "bucket washing is prohibited." read more

I have to say I normally would not stop at a car wash late at night , but I was heading out of town. Remembering my neighbors talking about Scrubbys i went there. I will never go anywhere else again this has got to be the best car wash around! I felt safe , everything worked great plus the Manager Darryl happened to be there and took the time to help me even though his shift was over.
