First visit and a time was had. Landed at EWR from LAX and went straight to the venue. I was both tired and hungry. I was with my sister and nephew who both come here often so I had zero worries. We parked at a small lot which I think was under a bridge of sorts. It was fairly empty and cost less than parking at the stadium. The walk over was under 5 mins. Double score. The Red.Bulls ended up winning over Washington. It was a great game despite the sweltering heat. We were on the first row, to the side of the goalie, but on the opposite side of the home team where all the fun stuff was happening. I noticed during the halftime show that all the fun activities were happening on the other side. Leaving for us was a breeze since we weren't fighting all the other folks exiting. So many cars were honking at the folks cutting them off. The sun had just set as we walked out of the stadium. What a sight to behold. The only concern for me is that their food selection was limited. read more

So I came here for the 1st to see one of my favorite acts Rufus Du Sol for a concert 7/25/2025 . Never been here before. Thank God I had no problem getting in but I wasn't in general admission . I had seats . I did wish later that I was in general admission for better views and experience . The Merch experience was also pleasant . Better merch inside than the outside one which had a long lines . Inside no lines . Getting there early - no ljnes for food/ drink or bathroom but later it was crazy. The stadium was clean and nice The reason for the 3 stars was that the parking situation and leaving was horrendous . I was stuck in the parking lot for over and hour trying to get out . Other than that area is congested so understandable that there was traffic but the parking lots by the stadium are so poorly managed . Parking lot was gravel/ rocks and areas with flood puddles . And One exit out ? Dangerous and horrendous . One of the reasons why I may never come back to this venue unless I figure out another way that is easier to park and leave . First of all - I had NO IDEA this was an outdoor venue until I received an email from the New York Red Bulls the day of the event. Yes - I probably should have researched the venue ahead of time but just an FYI for anyone thinking of attending a concert there (we booked Rufus du Sol). Let's discuss parking - the email I received said that I could tap the map to see pre-pay parking options. When you attempt to prepay for Lot C, the transaction never goes through. I called the # which was the incorrect company. They were kind enough to give me the correct # for the parking company as they clearly understood the wrong # was listed and they did their homework. Called the # and the person told me that I'd have to go in person to prepay?? I called the venue and was told the city of Harrison controlled the parking lots and no further information could be given to me. I was driving up from DC to pick up my son in NY and go yo this concert so was going blindly. We decided to just drive there and take our chances. The street was blocked just before a shopping center and near the train entrance so we ended up parking in front of an apartment building and walking over. Seemed like the best option as getting to the other parking lots was a traffic nightmare. I did see that they had a complimentary Audi parking lot but after seeing the traffic I didn't even bother. Also - get your beers/waters early and forget going to the bathroom. This facility needs to be able to handle a sold out concert - it was definitely not equipped for the number of people there. The lines for both the Mens and women's restrooms were 30 minutes wait time and probably the same for beverages. Super inefficient. read more

First time at this stadium. Was here to watch the Gotham FC match. Love supporting women's sports. Stadium is in good condition, lots of walking to get to seats especially outer stairs. There are elevators but at large event spaces like my family will take the stairs so there will be less of a wait time for people who really need the elevators. Tip, skip the small bathrooms on the entry level if you can. They only have 2 -3 stalls each gender . The line was long ,it was hot out and the AC waa not running at this time. The other floors have standard bathrooms with lots of stalls. There's a outdoor bar on the entrance level that you can get bevs from prior to game time. They had a live band performing, it was quite enjoyable- the folks singing were really good and had us dancing despite the heat. Lots of food options upstairs on each level . Some of the restaurants have kiosks forbslef ordering- I think this is a great idea. This is a Pepsi stadium ( good for me but just letting the Coke fanatics know ahead of time) You won't find soda cans here as they have a refill stations. $9 and change for a 16oz cup and you can refill to your hearts desire. Just make sure you get that last refill before the final whistle blows. At that time the workers manning the stations start pulling the spouts and shutting the gates on the service machines. Overall the stadium experience was great. Lots of helpful staff, enough food options, clean bathrooms and not as expensive as the major spots arenas . Up till here is what I will base my 4 star review. The exiting the parking lot experience a zero out of 5 stars. Parking was $20.85 by card. I'm not sure if cash is accepted, sorry forgot to ask. The parking lot has much to be desired , its literally a lot filled with gravel road. Looks like its being worked on by that's the least of the issue. Upon arrival there were attendants directing us where to park and you can't choose where to go because they are trying to pack you into the lot basically. Getting out was a nightmare. Jumanji, mixed with Frogger and the impatience and rudeness of Tri State area drivers - a literal recipe for road kill. Btw No Attendants directing exit in the lot. They're all on the outer main road directing the traffic- like ridiculously stopping cars that are abiding by traffic lights, diverting lanes to accommodate the exit of the "special ticket holders sections" . What a crock. Mind you the parking dump is extremely poorly lit. So by the time you do get out of it you're stuck again by these traffic boys . 45 mins to leave . Our GPS probably thougjt we for sure turned into Dodo birds . Just stay in the parking lot till everyone leaves - that's my passenger princess advice. read more

The stadium was nice and the game was fun, but the parking situation leaving the game was GOD AWFUL, among the worst I've ever experienced. We sat in line to leave one of the lots for more literally an hour and 15 minutes while every person leaving the stadium on foot walked by. Common sense says you let people walk for a minute, then let cars go for a minute, then let people walk, etc. Ruined what was otherwise a good night. Terrible mismanagement of the parking situation and exits. Like honestly just use your brain, it's common sense that you don't force people in cars to sit there for an hour not moving while people walk past. And then another hour to leave the general area of the stadium after making it out of the parking lot. The worst experience of my entire life after probably hundreds of sporting events I've gone to. read more

Maybe for soccer its great. rüfüs was 10/10 venue 0/10 - insanely long lines, only one floor for concessions / bathrooms every fridge looked completely empty as if they weren't even prepared for a 22k+ people. do not recommend seeing a show here, security barely checked bags. a venue can really set the tone for an experience and this was disappointing to say the least. arrriving / leaving by car for me and my crew was manageable but we did park about a 20 min walk away which we did not mind at all. Kearny-born, Harrison-raised - with an Uncle who played professionally in the old NASL league (and was the national team's captain for a spell!) - how can I not love a local soccer stadium?! If you're old enough you'll remember when this entire patch of Harrison looked more like a backdrop for a Mad Max flick but after decades of promises... it was completely rebuilt (including that fancy space-age-looking PATH station) and it's awesome that the MetroStars, I mean, Red Bulls, have a great little arena that's easy (enough) to get to. (Not to mention everyone from Gotham FC to AS Roma to local high school teams that I've also been lucky enough to watch play here over the years.) Being a medium-sized stadium... there's really no bum seats here. (And they have a cool canopy-style roof so the rain shouldn't be a problem for a majority of the seats.) Pricing (tickets, drinks, food) isn't too outrageous. (And - per the trend - they've become completely cashless if you're trying to buy something.) There's always cool giveaways and interactive events both inside and outside of the arena. The stadium is clean. There's tailgating in the parking lot. There's a biergarten attached to the stadium for those of legal-age that are looking to get their drink on. Pro-hack: traffic is ridiculous on game day so you can save money (as well as not losing your sanity) by parking around Harrison Avenue and walking down. (It's a casual 7-8 minute stroll to/from the stadium.) One of my kids still reminds me that the stadium actually ran out of churros when we went hunting for them at half-time one time. Honestly one of the worst stadiums I've been too. The lines are extremely long, they are understaffed/not prepared for the crowds. The drink lines are insane (25 min plus) and the only options were frozen drinks (pina colada or strawberry daiquiris) or beer. We came here recently for the first time, and it was Scouts and 90s Night. I was thoroughly impressed with the venue. Parking at a nearby lot was $20 cash, but it had ample space for tailgating. The lot was also just across the street from the stadium. The lines and security were organized, so it didn't take long to get through. There was also a live band that we walked by who were very good. Our kids had the opportunity to meet two of the Red Bulls players as part of the meet and greet that came with the Scouts Night deal. Our seats were in Section 213, but still had a great view of the field and everything else around. It was clean and spacious as well. We also enjoyed special guest performers, C&C Music Factory, and the fireworks that went along with the opening show. There was a variety of food available and that didn't cost too much. I was glad to learn of the free refills you can get after buying an 8 oz cup for $9. All in all, a nice place to enjoy a game or concert at with family and friends. read more

Just went to a game here all around what an experience. I have never been to a soccer game and this was exhilarating! I got luck and had Audi club seats so we had access to a a private area with free food (not alcohol) and our seats were in the second row. The food was actually really good. From steak, to hot dogs and nachos as well as ice cream, pop corn and macaroons. Their soda vendor is Pepsi which is not my first choice. We also had a parking pass at the east entrance which was literally on the side of the building. It also happened to be feee scarf day which was another bonus! I highly recommend attending a game the fans were super energetic and it was a lot of fun! read more

My family attended the last home match of the regular season on a Saturday evening. My brother and I took advantage of the $10 student tickets, while my parents sat second row up from the half line at $100/ticket. They did not find their ticket prices worthwhile, but my brother and I definitely did, sitting in the first row of a second tier corner section. The game was tremendous fun with the Red Bulls winning against Toronto 3-0. We were sad that we missed out on the free scarves that were given away to only the first 10K attendees, unfortunately for us. However, the reason we missed out was due to the terrible directions for parking provided by the signs as well as those directing traffic. Because we had seen from other reviews that parking takes a long time, we went early. When we tried to make a left on to the street for the general admission lot, we were stopped and told to "take the next left" for more parking. There was also a sign that said to take the next left for general admission parking, yet when we did, we waited forever in line only to eventually find out that the line was for VIP parking only. My brother and I wound up dropping my parents' off first so that they wouldn't miss out on any of the game and then tried to return to the general admission lot. Since it was starting to look like we were going to miss the beginning of the game and the line for the general lot was hardly moving, we decided that we weren't going to waste money on expensive parking. We continued driving up and were fortunate enough to find street parking, which normally was free on Saturdays except an hour before and after Red Arena events. We paid $2.00 for two hours. We didn't notice until later, but you can continue to feed the meter with the app. Terrible event coordination and even worse parking knocks two stars off this review. Next time, we will park in Newark and walk over despite a 30 minute walk to the stadium to avoid all the shenanigans. read more

I've seen Red Bull Arena from the train on a regular basis for years (hard to miss the white dome as you ride past Newark), but I'd never gone inside until Saturday night. One of my noble chums got primo seats in the second row for the Red Bulls Fan Appreciation Night, so despite the fact that a) I'm not the biggest soccer fan in the world and b) this involved being in the Newark area after dark (it was totally fine), I found myself 15 feet from the pitch wearing an edgy Red Bulls scarf, bellowing any time the ball came close to our area. I've been to my share of sports arenas, probably most often involving Mets games, and this was by far the easiest one to drive to and get into. A HUGE part of that was because these seats involved VIP parking that was a literal one-minute walk into the (get ready for it) VIP entrance. For someone used to planning out an hour-long itinerary just to get into a stadium parking lot, this was a giant but welcome culture shock. There was a bit of traffic as you crossed the Passaic River into the newly gentrified Harrison area, but it was moving and well organized. There was also an intriguing looking, now-shuttered establishment on the way called The Titanic that I gave a few lingering looks to, but based on its exterior we were at least a year too late to take advantage of whatever that place had to offer. The best comp I can give you for this stadium is probably a higher level Minor League Baseball park. It's pretty clean and accessible with a lot of solid amenities, but it's not to the level of our most popular professional sports in this country. If you're expecting an electric atmosphere on par with the World Cup or really any European football games, you'll be disappointed. There were clearly a lot of enthusiastic fans that made this experience a positive one, but there were also a lot of empty seats (it was probably at half capacity or close to it, despite a scarf giveaway and a post-game fireworks show that we didn't stay for as it was time for bed) that you'd expect from a team that's playing sub .500 soccer. There were some interesting food options that we walked by - along with obligatory weenies and pizza, they had an Asian-influenced noodle stand - and the prices were pretty competitive in my opinion; you'd be appalled if your local convenience store was charging this, but compared to an MLB or NFL stadium, it's probably 25% cheaper. Because we had bougie primo seats, we had access to the Audi Club, which was basically a high-end cafeteria with a number of all-inclusive food options, along with a full-service bar that cost extra. I'd accidentally gone on an Uber Eats toot earlier in the day that I'm blaming on the inclement weather so I didn't get to take quite as much advantage of this as I would have liked. Notwithstanding, I managed to consume about five or six very solid macarons and an M&M cookie. Several chums consumed some high-level Pat LaFrieda cattle as well. This was a pleasant arena to spend a few hours in. Never in my life have I been told that I don't belong somewhere more times than the afternoon I went to the Red Bulls/Crew game. I get it, I look like the kind of person that goes to sporting events for the food, and it's because I AM the person that goes to sporting events for the food. It's true. Soccer is the one sport I actually do really love, but even here I am all about the popcorn, hot dogs and drinks. ANYWAY, my friends and I got some comped tickets to one of their suites and had so much fun hanging out outside in the sun. There is something about a hotdog outside that just makes for a great day. But those tickets must have been like, the lowest tier of the fancy suite tickets because we seriously could not take a step without employees telling us we do not get free food and drinks. It became a very funny joke. Like we would be looking for the bathroom and someone would just tell us our wristand does not get us free food. Or we'd be looking for the stairs and someone would tell us our wristband does not get us free drinks. The stadium is literally one of the best in the country for any sport. It has stood the test of time amazingly, and they keep renovating it to continue it being one of the best stadiums in the country. And one of the worst things is reading all the reviews from the snobby racist yelpers who have a big problem with the neighborhood. Yes it's in a very poor and ethnic neighbourhood, but poor and ethnic people often love "soccer" and would have a much harder time getting all the way to Staten Island or Brooklyn or Manhattan than you would have getting down to Harrison... So stop complaining and enjoy the amazing Portuguese and ethnic foods that are within a mile of the stadium, in one of the most amazing and Multicultural if a little crime-ridden and impoverished, neighbourhoods of New Jersey. And what they do with the stadium is second to none, and it's probably my favorite in the league all things considered - along with LAFC. And if the team goes under, it'd Dead Bull. Been here a couple times. All events attended have been soccer games. From international games to RedBull home games. Easily accessible from the Harrison Path Station. For those driving in, there's parking all around. Parking prices range from $15-$30. Handicap and valet parking is available. There is a gravel lot on site. Check their site for updates as that lot was last card only. Also, do not park in the lot located near Quick Check for free as that's used just for customers. Numerous people do this and get towed. Street parking is available for a meter fee. Staff is helpful from the minute you start walking near the entrance. They guide you to the nearest door for easier access to your seats. The arena itself is a decent size. Finding seats, food stations, customer service and drinks is all easy. The announcer keeps everyone engaged and excited. Look out for special events. Our favorite so far has been their annual Autism Awareness night. On this day they accommodate all around to meet all sensory needs. Great job RedBull! read more

My review is late. My daughter and her girlfriend wanted to attend a women's soccer match. So my wife and I bought tickets to the NJ/NY Gotham FC vs Chicago match Saturday night 7/2. They were coming from Manhattan so they would meet us at the restaurant. Logistically I didn't know what to do so we drove into Newark, parked near the restaurant, and after we ate walked over to the arena which took maybe 10 minutes walking slow. Tickets were way too expensive for this sport and our seats. I wish we had eaten at the arena because I smelled sausage sandwiches. The arena is located very close the the PATH train. So we could have taken the train to Newark Penn Station then the PATH right there. So for non soccer events we know what to do in the future. read more

This was my first time attending a professional soccer game so I don't have much to go on but the stadium seemed really nice to me. We drove to the game and parked in the parking deck which cost $10.00 it just seemed a little far from the stadium to me. We got the tickets for free from a work colleague and the seats were good section 126 midfield. The venue had a lot of food and beverage options to choose from at pretty much the standard pricing you would expect. The game was pretty good and the fans from both sides were cheering. I was pretty much just observing what was going on since I really didn't know who any of the players were. I still had a good time though and everyone in my area was happy since the home team won. The stadium was maybe about half full so it really wasn't difficult getting out when the game was over. All in all it was a good evening. read more

It doesn't even matter if you like soccer or not; if you like fun, you should recruit 18 of your closest friends and buy tickets in Section 101 (the supporter section) of Red Bull Arena. Last Saturday I did just that, and $20 bought me the best live sports experience I've had in years, watching from right behind the net as the Red Bulls clinched their postseason berth. Although I had a seat, I don't think I used it once throughout the entire game. No one in the entire section did. Everyone was too busy (fueled by big, $9 beers and Red Bull spirit) chanting, singing, flag-waving, trumpeting, tromboning, drumming, lighting flares and jumping around arm-in-arm until the stadium shook. One guy brought a megaphone and I don't think he looked at the field once; he just led the rest of us in songs to support the squad. My favorite, to the tune of Frère Jacques: We are Red Bulls, we are Red Bulls; Piss on you. Piss on you. You have no cojones, you have no cojones; Ours are huge, ours are huge. And they are. __________ The only drawback of the entire evening was using the strange, bowl-like urinals. Which in itself was fine, as the restrooms were quite clean. However, the whole experience took an uncomfortable turn when the two guys next to me started commenting on each others' streams, and how the color of their urine indicated one of them was quite dehydrated. read more

Great venue to watch a soccer game. I have been there about a dozen or more times and the game experience has always been great. Harrison streets tend to get very congested so even though there are plenty of lots fairly close to the arena, getting in and out can be a problem. The PATH is a good option especially if coming from NY. I prefer to park in the Ironbound and walk about 3/4 mile to the arena. You can also take NJ Transit to Newark Penn and walk about a mile or take the PATH one stop. Just keep hoping it doesn't rain because even the PATH station is not quite next door to the arena. They have a decent selection of food but if you want a quesadilla be prepared to wait a long time if they don't have any ready made. I think they only make 2 at a time. I am a first time season ticket holder and will definitely be renewing for next year. Relative to other sports, the cost is not that expensive and the are percs too. read more

My first and only experience here was VIP style. Thanks to a well-connected friend, I scored front row seats in section 111 (right next to the home team's bench) for a Red Bulls - Seattle game. Our entrance into the Skybox was so exclusive, they even had the red carpet rolled out. The stretch limo was sitting out front too, but we couldn't even get away with pretending that was ours. Admission to the Skybox included a massive buffet the staff kept stockpiling throughout the game. On this particular night, they were churning out coffee-rubbed pork tenderloin, salmon, kielbalsa, hot dogs, salad, and endless pastries that would make any fat kid smile. The ONLY thing not included was open bar. Damn. That meant paying big prices for drinks, on about the same level as MetLife Stadium for an NFL game. After all this royal treatment, the stadium itself was the least of my concerns, but it feels a lot bigger than a 25,000 seat facility. The fans get really into the games, and the place went nuts when Clint Dempsey took the field. I'd definitely go back, but only if I were going to the Skybox and sitting in the front row again. read more

Love this place. Conveniently located to drive and park or take NJ Transit to the Path to Harrison. There is not a bad seat in the house. The regulars chant, wave flags, set off flares. Because you feel so close to the action, you get to appreciate how fast the game is at the pro level. Being a Red Bulls fan, and living in Chicago, I decided to go back home and finally visit Red Bull Arena. This soccer-specific stadium is truly something special when you walk in it. Just as exciting as Metlife, but even more accessible and personal. I brought my brother and my cousin and they enjoyed the setup and the experience of watching the team this season. This review is strictly rating the accessibility, cleanliness, staff and security. Everything was streamlined for comfort. Now... let's get a championship. read more

I wish NEW JERSEY would be part of the Red Bulls name since the stadium is in Harrison. I got a free ticket from a coworker and I've always wanted to check it out. I like that this stadium is meant for soccer and not a mega stadium for Football or Hot 97 Summer jam. $13 for a large can beer but there's a lot of selections to pick from. $30 for a Red Bulls scarf to make believe I'm a fan. $5 Churro. Tailgating is not great here. Very walkable from the PATH and Newark Penn is doable as well. read more
