I was most recently at MetLife Stadium for the BTS concert, and it was such an incredible experience. The entire event was so much fun and very well organized. The parking lot had a fan village and merch trucks set up all day, which made it easy to explore before the show. The general admission lines looked long, but my friend said they moved fairly quickly. The VIP entrance was especially smooth, with a very short wait and fast entry. MetLife has a strict clear bag policy of 12" x 12" x 6", and they enforce it closely. You can bring an empty water bottle under 20 oz, but glass bottles and containers are not allowed. I read through all the rules beforehand and prepared accordingly, so I had no issues getting in. I had amazing seats with a great view from one of the suites. The stadium offered standard stadium food options like hot dogs, chicken tenders, and fries, along with plenty of Pepsi drink options. Overall, MetLife Stadium was a fantastic venue for one of the best nights ever watching BTS perform. The organization, atmosphere, and experience made it a memorable concert experience. read more

Came for the BTS Concert using NJT. Very easy to get around. Read up on bag policy before you go. I bought a see through bag which got me in seamlessly. Look for multiple gates to enter. Some are smack dab center so everyone sees that first or will flock to. It definitely is gonna be crowded and lines so make sure you plan accordingly. My seats were in the top section so wasn't too good, but the experience was great! Stadium was clean and staff tried to keep things moving! Read up and be prepared and enjoy the show! read more

I've been coming to MetLife Stadium since it opened, mostly for Giants games, but also a few concerts and, most recently, a FIFA World Cup match. It's no secret this stadium draws great events. As one of the main venues in the NYC metro area, geography alone gives it a huge advantage. But the stadium itself is very plain. Not a lot of character, and the amenities aren't that noteworthy. Its Achilles heel is the lack of good transportation options getting too/from the stadium. There's currently no direct rail that takes folks from NYC to MetLife. The best you can do is hop on NJ Transit and transfer at Secaucus, which creates massive bottlenecks and dangerously crowded platforms. The only other choice is to drive, and the roads in and around the stadium turn into pure chaos on event days. Obviously there isn't always a choice, but I give preference to events at Barclays or even MSG whenever possible, so that I'm not wasting half a day in transit. read more

I went to my first ever NFL game at Metlife Stadium recently. It was a VERY warm for October, Sunday afternoon. Big fun was had from start to finish. My cousin had VIP Club tickets, which included parking. Major game on a Sunday-Jets vs. Cowboys. The crowd was huge but security detail was on point and got everyone inside quickly. I enjoyed the vibes. Good drinks and seats. The stadium green was bright and boldly painted. Seats are great-not steep at all. The sound system was excellent. Drinks are pricey. The Jets lost. Chowed down on grilled burgers, hot dogs and beers with a few friends in the parking lot for a Tailgate (also my first.) Great time! read more

Since it's an outdoor venue, it can get very hot during the summer, so be prepared if you're attending a daytime game. Food and drinks were quite expensive, but that's pretty much expected at major sporting events. I've been to many more concerts at Metlife since my initial review. While the stadium website boasts enhancements, the seating feels a lot more cramped than it used to. Going to concerts is one of my favorite things but I'm starting to reconsider! Left it at 3 stars because the food options are great and they book top notch entertainment- aka Beyonce and Chris Brown. There's ample parking, especially once you consider the American Dream Mall parking lot. And yes, leaving the events (I stay til the end) is a nightmare with traffic, etc. Don't know how they can fix this, but thw venue feels safe. read more

I recently attended the first night of Oasis at MetLife. The acoustics are solid for a stadium, and I could hear Liam over the crowd singing along very well. And we could see them (albeit they looked like micromachines) from our seats in section 332 up in the nosebleeds apart from the big screens. The lines to get into the stadium were pretty straightforward. There were plenty of available queues, so you don't have to wait in line for 20 minutes at the closest ones. They also had a guy with a bullhorn pointing this out, which was good because people can be oblivious. I didn't have an issue getting drinks or food at any of the stations. There were plenty of people behind the counter who took the orders fast and provided your orders within a short time. What I didn't like -- similar to what I experienced at Wembley in London -- is how they herd you down an enclosed stairwell and don't allow the use of the escalators for additional access. You always feel there is a risk of some stampede happening, which would be disastrous in close quarters. Additionally, it took over an hour to make our way to the trains. I suppose how they do it is the best approach, given the number of people coming out of the stadium, but the bottlenecking was quite prevalent between the train queue and the dispersing queue from the seats in the stadium. All-in-all, if you're coming from the City for a concert, even a football game, you could be taking at least two hours before you make it back -- not counting however long it may take to where you are going in the Boroughs. read more

I've been here multiple times for concerts and would keep coming. Seating is decent, food is decent - overpriced but that's what you expect at a stadium that hold concert and athletic games. It's connected with a bridge to American Dream so if you wanted to park first ($40-50 at MetLife as of summer 2025) you can park then walk the bridge over to American Dream to check it out, shop or eat. Some seats will get you access to the indoor bar downstairs and the coaches club upstairs where there's a large food court style area - that was a sweet surprise one time! Service is always on par. I've yet to have a negative experience here. read more

I came from out of town for the FIFA Club Championship game and was impressed with how easy and organized it was to reach the stadium. MetLife is essentially connected to American Dream Mall (which is worth checking out because they have plenty of attractions of their own), and you can park their and walk across a bridge to get to the stadium. BE WARNED... If you park at the mall for an event for the stadium there's an event surcharge and parking can cost just as much as your event ticket! The stadium itself is big, but still has an intimate atmosphere. We were in a middle section and still had excellent views of the field. The stadium is not enclosed, so be prepared to deal with the elements. The food and drinks were priced at what you would expect for a stadium, but you can always grab a bite at the mall, plus there are plenty of vendors selling food/drink outside stadium at a fraction of the cost, so if you have spare time you can always take advantage of that. Just know that no outside food/drink is allowed in the stadium. read more

What can I say, The Giants were great hosts letting the 49ers come away with a 34-24 victory. Sat in second deck on 58 degree day in November but we were in the sun and it was really warm until sun went down in 4th quarter. Great sight lines for an old stadium but maybe could use bigger and better scoreboard. So if you are from out of town staying in Manhattan, get the New Jersey Transit app and but your roundtrip ticket in advance to Metlife Stadium (not Secaucus) from Penn Station New York. When you get to the station just follow the people in Jerseys to the right platform. You will then take the train one stop, get off in Secaucus where you will scan your ticket on your phone to get out of the station and the scan again to get on the little tram to the stadium which drops you off 20 yards from the entrance. RT is $12.90 On way back, the last train leaves 2 hours after the game. Each way takes about 20 minutes once the train gets moving. read more

First time at MetLife and wow, it's huge! If you're driving there, it can be a little overwhelming, but as long as you buy your parking ticket online ahead of time and check the map ahead of time, you'll be fine. There are tons of staff guiding you to open lots. Definitely take a picture of where you park, it gets packed! I went for the Shakira concert, which was completely sold out. Getting in was super easy, no issues at the entrance. We had floor seats, lots of room to dance and the screens were close, but honestly, you couldn't really see her well from where I was- I think her stage set up wasn't great. I feel like no matter where you sit, you'll end up watching the screens anyway, so regular seats probably give you just as good of an experience. Her concert was incredible though so it really made my experience even better. I loved her show wow wow wow!!! Food and drinks are expensive (no surprise), so I'd say eat and pre-game beforehand. Overall, I had a great time, the stadium is awesome and I'd definitely go back! read more

First time at MetLife Stadium. After reading many reviews, I spent a lot of time planning. I tried to go to The Weeknd concert Day 1 but couldn't make it, so went to Day 2. After checking out the videos for Day 1, I picked one of the last seats remaining plus a parking pass. The parking cost almost as much as the ticket. Worth it though- it's an incredible experience. The outdoor stadium is breathtakingly large - the seats on the upper level aren't recommended if you're afraid of heights ! Stadium: 5/5 - great view, helpful staff, relaxed vibe, clean. Restrooms: 4/5 - clean, no lines downstairs but very long lines on the upper levels. Arrive early, or risk missing part of the concert. Parking: 3/5 - Needs better organization - long line for exit, cars and people going random directions, where's the parking attendant ? For 40 plus dollars, expected more. I read about this problem so I parked near the exit and left asap. Food - Sugary drinks and fried food - some limited healthier options are listed (see photo of food screenshot from their website). I wish someone would list nutritional values for food at venues. McDonalds publishes a calorie/nutrition list so it's possible. If they did have a list, I missed it. Seating - Relaxed on the top level, sit wherever - someone was already in my seat, so I took another one. The floor level seemed much less relaxed, wristbands, lanyards etc. I enjoyed the concert at MetLife. The crowd was super nice and polite. The staff were helpful, even if it felt understaffed. The open air environment was comfortable - but look at the weather map before going - no umbrellas allowed. Check the rules on bags too - very strict. If you're noise sensitive bring earplugs just in case. Overall it's a great experience but make sure to plan ahead - especially for the weather conditions. read more

I got the chance to visit MetLife over the summer for an MCR concert. Starting off, security here really wasn't bad. The process of getting in was quick and easy. I also found that sections were clearly labeled, so getting to our seat was easy as well. Like most other concert/sporting venues, food and drinks here are pricy. For the most part though, these items weren't too bad. Chicken tenders and fries were what I expected. I will say, the hot dog I tried was NOT good. Additionally, I did quite enjoy the frozen strawberry daiquiri drink I got! The bathroom lines were also insane when I went. The various screens throughout MetLife looked pretty nice and offered a nice view of the show. I will say, sound quality was not amazing, but MetLife wasn't necessarily built for concert sound. For what it was, I felt relatively comfortable at my seat. The parking situation here is a bit complex. The lots by the venue were of course backed up once the show was over. American Dream also offers event parking. We ended up parking with the mall, which required a decent walk, but we didn't run into much traffic this way. I most likely will be back to MetLife for future shows, but it's definitely not the best venue I've been to. read more

Came here to see The Weeknd with my sister. The entry process was confusing; after having our tickets scanned, we were unaware that a separate VIP wristband was required for floor seating. This oversight forced us to exit the stadium and locate a tent near a different gate to obtain the wristband... all while juggling overpriced food and an open water bottle, as the cashier said she had to remove the caps. Parking is $40, and with no nearby alternatives, you're left with no choice, as the stadium's location doesn't offer convenient off site parking options, making the fee unavoidable. As for the food, I opted for chicken tenders and fries, because there was a bunch just lined up. I figured it would be quick, as it was. The tenders were crisp but lacked flavor and had an unappealing, processed texture more akin to elongated chicken nuggets. Fries were decent but nothing special. A bottle of Aquafina water is $5, not sure why they had to remove the cap. While the event itself was enjoyable, the logistical hassles (unexplained VIP entry process, having to exit and re-enter, walking around with unsealed drinks and food, unavoidable parking fees) and subpar concessions detracted from the overall experience. read more

I had the absolute time of my life at MetLife Stadium this weekend for the Beyoncé concert! We were in Row 1, Section 5, seats 3-6. Yup, right up front, and I honestly don't think I'll ever top this experience. From start to finish, MetLife delivered. The staff were friendly and professional, especially Grace, the security guard standing right in front of us. She was an absolute delight and added to the fun. The facilities were clean, which is always a pleasant surprise at a packed venue, and the pizza I grabbed while waiting in line for merch was shockingly delicious. Oh, and while Beyonce was singing "Cuff It," my row mates and I made it on the freaking Jumbotron! So we're basically famous now. Exiting the stadium was smooth, and although we made the rookie mistake of taking an Uber from the American Dream lot (next time, we're driving!), the whole experience was still seamless. MetLife really knows how to handle a massive crowd without chaos. Northeast (the old FedEx) Stadium in my hometown could NEVER! This stadium made an unforgettable concert night even more amazing. MetLife is a massive, modern powerhouse. Whether it's a Jets/Giants game or a huge concert, the scale of this place is impressive. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The video boards are huge and crystal clear. The train from Port Authority is a total game-changer compared to the parking lot traffic. Be prepared to spend some money for food and drinks because everything is crazy priced. Getting out after a sell-out crowd requires some serious maneuvering. Aside from that, the upgrade from Giants stadium to MetLife years ago is the best thing the Jets/Giants have done. read more

I went to MetLife Stadium last season for a Giants game and it's honestly one of the worst stadiums I've been to. With that in mind, the stadium is boring and has a terrible atmosphere. The design is extremely generic and has no personality whatsoever. In addition, the stadium lacks home team identity since it shares the stadium with the Jets. The lack of unique features is ridiculous. Furthermore, it's in a terrible location with nothing else in the area. It's basically a giant concrete building in the middle of nowhere. Likewise, the seats are tiny and uncomfortable. It's just an all-around bad experience. In similar fashion, the majority of the food here is overpriced, generic stadium food. The only thing I would recommend is the kitchen sink. It's a sandwich served on a sub roll with hotdogs, sausage, peppers, onions and a vinegar cream dressing. The sandwich tastes pretty good, but it is expensive. Other problems with the stadium include ridiculous parking prices, no retractable roof, and leaving the stadium is a nightmare. After all is said and done, MetLife Stadium is an insult to Giants fans and another reason why this franchise is a shell of its former self. read more

Great game this summer! Got to enjoy the available lounges to eat, drink and watch the game away from the heat. The air conditioning felt great and the vibes were still high inside. I prefer the lounges to sit and watch the games, as opposed to, the tight hard seats inside the stadium. There are lounge chairs you can enjoy with family and friends if you're not grabbing anything to eat. Citifield feels like a real baseball stadium . It has such a nostalgic feel to it. I'm a Yankees fan but Yankee Stadium feels more like a museum than a ballpark. I always enjoy watching the game at Citifield and can't wait to return next Spring. read more

It was my first time at MetLife for anything and I was there to see the Oasis Live '25 show (BIBLICAL!). We were sat just above floor level (basically the floor but with seats) and the sound was out of this world. The acoustics were amazing. Liam, Noel, Bonehead, and the lot were at the top of their game. My third time seeing them over the years and it was the best performance ever. I was MADFERIT!!! Usually, I would go to concerts at Madison Square Garden or Philly if the band I wanted to see didn't make it to my hometown, Pittsburgh. The long lines for food, bathrooms, and merch moved quickly and with ease. At the end of the night, workers suggested canceling Uber because they never show. They gave us a hack to take the train (free) and then call a car. Brilliant. We didn't even ask for assistance and they offered it. And, you know what? Just as we were deciding what to do, Uber driver canceled on us! Because of that tip we were able to hop the train and get out in record time. read more

We arrived at 12 o'clock with a Gold Parking Pass and were directed around the stadium twice without finding a single available spot. It took us 45 minutes just to figure out where to go, and we still ended up having to walk about a mile to get to the stadium. The traffic is completely unbearable and really takes away from the whole experience. They seriously need to fix the parking and traffic flow because, as it is right now, it almost isn't worth making the trip. There are a ton of food options and the vendors were really nice. Pro tip: Try to get here at least two hours before the game to give yourself a fighting chance at a decent parking spot. read more

Grabbed tickets last minute to attend Breezy Bowl. My 1st time going to a concert at MetLife Stadium. Entering the stadium was organized and was able to park quickly. There was a line that was formed while we waited to enter the venue. The entrance into MetLife was a smooth process. There were several stands to buy food and merch. I ordered chicken fingers and fries. The food was hot and actually good! Now leaving the stadium was a bit messy! Cars cutting you off and it took me 20 minutes to get out of the parking lot. Oh! It's your average stadium, which isn't a good thing compared to other modern day marvels. With a capacity of 85k, it's a huge stadium, and tho I like the lower level views, pricing is always a concern. Plus ticket costs do NOT include parking (ie tailgating). Ontop of that, all concessions/merchandise are plastic Cards only (NO CASH). It serves its purposes, but it isn't anything special. read more

Another event was seeing Taylor Swifts reputation tour that was an insane show. Most recently came for Shakira's concert & that was a lot of fun as well. Drinks usually stick to Beer, Seltzers & water since it's easier. Depending when & where u grab a drinks it can be quick if one of the stands easier to avoid the crazy lines for liquor. Getting to the stadium if u don't drive is easy enough, bus & train from the city brings u directly to the stadium. The energy during the events it's pretty wild, football fans can be crazy versus during a concert either one it's sure to be a great time. Decent size stadium overall , prices are doable. read more

Went to Met Life for the My Chemical Romance Black Parade concert and were delighted. This was our first trip to NJ and we found this place full of helpful, friendly people and so clean. I'm used to Summerfest bathrooms and chaos back home in Milwaukee but not so here. We had the best time! Getting out was a bit of a challenge as we had to go through a tunnel and follow the sea of people. I was given great directions thankfully by the helpful staff. I would definitely not hesitate to return to Metlife. One drawback was the traffic but they were doing the best they could for such a large crowd. Recently went for the System of a Down/korn concert. The entry and security check were quick and efficient. This was a sold out event and as someone who attends lots of music festivals, the directions on where to go were easy to follow. We had floor seats. Korn and system put on a great show. My favorite yet. I didnt make it in time for the 2 openers. Rideshare was set up well but we waited for awhile bc the Uber drivers of course quadruple their rates after the show. Good hot dogs, clean bathrooms, nice staff and location. Will return and recommend. read more
