It is very good use for winter time. The tunnel protect you from severe weather or cold wind. The tunnels system link the commercial area, shopping, banking, restaurants, parking garage. Basically you can use it as a walk tunnel to connect all business. There are several tower in downtown that connects the tunnels. Many downtown people use it as walking path for restaurants during lunch time. We got into the tunnel through the Arvest building. We took the elevator to LL level to parking garage below the building, then followed the red painted path to enter the green tunnel. The tunnel divided into colors system. Each color represents different zone and art area. We saw many historic picture and art at tunnels. Visit time take about one hour. Th

There were two photos that, taken together, don't seem believable as described. According to the captions, one was taken of OKC April 22, 1889, and the next on May 13, 1889 - just 3 weeks later. Not only has an entire city appeared in 3 weeks, but additional rail lines, and an outhouse added in the foreground. What really seems implausible, though, is a massive pile of dirt in the first photo has disappeared 3 weeks later, with no sign it was ever there - even the grass has grown back perfectly. In three weeks. I'd love to know how the dates were authenticated. We can learn a lot from our elders, so I really enjoyed the quotes and photos of people who had made it to be 100 years old. We entered through a door in a parking garage, but there's an escalator right up front in the BancFirst building that's probably easier to find. I'm attaching photos.

Wow!!! What an amazing experience! Right here in Oklahoma City we have a cocktail riverboat cruise…read more The location is off Lincoln close to the Devon boathouse! Plenty of parking and very accessibility to riverboat. I purchased tickets online and arrived 10mins before take off. The boat wasn't crowded and seating was ample in an indoor air conditioned covered room. The bartender was at the back of the boat and drinks were inexpensive. It was a beautiful evening and everyone was friendly and courteous on the boat. Overall a great outing for me and my hubby. I'd love to come back for a girls evening out or with other couples... it was a good time!

The weather was a bit gnarly but that only added to the experience. There was only one other couple besides our party of seven so social distancing wasn't a problem at all. Everyone wore masks and the boat was incredibly clean and sanitized between each cruise. It was AWESOME to watch the boat dock when they came to pick us up. The Captain and First Mate obviously work beautifully together as a team. We felt safe, we had a great time, learned some fun and interesting Oklahoma River facts and we're pleased with the value of the experience. We'll be back!!

this is the only round barn located right on route 66…read more The barn is split into two sections, the second floor which is empty and where you can marvel at the architecture of the round ceiling, and the bottom where it serves as a museum and gift shop. When i first walked to the second floor, i was amazed and awestruck. i couldn't believe something like this existed, much less that it was located right on the historic route 66. I saw some holes which allowed sunlight in, and the i made a comment to my wife.... i wonder what happens when it rains. I guess they clean up the floor once the rain stops the next day, and you could smell the old wood. I really wish they could fix the roof and ensure this structure remains intact for years to come. As for the bottom, there are interesting trinkets and items for sale. Everything you buy here helps support the barn. Cool historic items to see inside. Apparently, this barn was rebuild roughly 40 years, since it collapsed simply due to age. While its looking a lot better, they definitely need more restoration on it for sure. There are some parking stops located right across the route 66, and more near the back of the barn. If you park right across the barn, you can walk over and take a picture of the Arcadia route 66 sign on the group.
