While they have been in operation for nearly two decades on this street, their move to this location happened within the last few years. This space houses their cafe and roasting operations. If you're planning to check it out, there is parking out front and alongside the building. If you're in a rush, you can use the drive-thru for your brewed coffee and espresso drinks and even order ahead for pickup on any beans or grounds. The space is cozy and lends itself to a quick grab-and-shop. I was meeting friends at Red Cedar without realizing they only had a few benches outside for seating. They mainly a coffee roasting facility. They have a drive thru and walk up inside. We were visiting because they are part of the Cleveland Cafe Passport. The staff were friendly and helpful. Now that I know I will go thru the drive thru. I did get a small drip. I really hate to leave bad review but we were very excited to try this place after driving by many times. Walked in and 2 workers + man who seemed to be owner greeted us, we were only ones in store. They have a lot of flavored coffees and one of them was bourbon, I asked for a sample before purchasing large cup, and they quickly shut me down and said they dont give samples...If I was the owner I would've spent the 5 cents or less for customer service/potential $24/bag purchase. I got a basic no flavor one and it was not good/weak...we left without purchasing anything extra. read more

I love Red Cedar Coffee! I travel all over and try coffee from roasters everywhere I go. Red Cedar is a destination for me every time I fly in/out of Cleveland. They ship super-fast, cause I have to order online when I'm not gonna be nearby for a while. Their coffee are true 1-lb (16oz) bags, NOT 12oz like others I see elsewhere. This is not a WiFi "hangout" spot - but they do have a speedy drive thru where you can get a great cup on your way to/from home. read more

This place rocks! It's mostly a roaster (you can watch them roasting right there!) but has a coffee counter and drive through for coffee to go! I had a gingerbread chai latte and it was delicious! And the staff were all so friendly too! I totally recommend ! Chances are you've probably had their coffee as they supply it to a lot of other places! :) read more

This is a nice coffee house that also is its own roaster. I love their red Cedar Select blend but I have not tried all of the different ones yet. Stop in and you will be very pleased. The smell of fresh coffee is like a breath of fresh air when you walk through the door. read more

Ok, I have come to Red Cedar a few times and have been happy with their coffee. It's a local shop with excellent service and friendly staff. I usually get an espresso and Americano. Today I tried something different after an early morning golf round. It's called Blackberry Espresso Tonic . It's over ice. It's amazing. So refreshing! Check this place out ! read more

Red Cedar boasts a wide-variety of flavored coffees for you flavored coffee drinkers. My sister, who loves the flavored coffee, always stocks up when she's in town at Red Cedar. I appreciate the more traditional brews like the Northern Lights. I like that the decaf blends are Swiss Water Processed and not produced with chemicals. With the bevy of blends and bolds to buy, it can get confusing to remember all your favorites. Never a worry shall cross your brow though, Red Cedar keeps a card listing all your previous purchases and your favorites right at the register. Amazing small batch roasted coffee and good people who really care about coffee and their customers. My parents got me addicted to their fresh flavorful coffee and I much prefer it over Columbus's local roaster, Staufs. My favorite roast is the Guatemalan. Northern Lights comes in second. They have a lot to choose from including some organics and a decaf. You can order from them and have it shipped or order on the phone and go pick it up or stop in the shop for some coffee talk. I've tried Pete's, Starbucks, 8 o'clock, market district, Seattle's best, etc, and I will not bring those home again. The owners know their stuff and are incredibly helpful.
