That event made me join her mailing list. Then, in June 2026, I saw on her email that the store was located in North Royalton, Ohio--about five miles from where I was going to be stopping on a road trip to Pennsylvania. It seemed kismet. The store is beautiful. It's a huge space, split into retail and instructional sections. The cooking school area is large and spacious. I'd love taking a class here. I used to go to cooking demo classes pretty regularly and what made them uncomfortable was that school's seating, with folks practically sitting in one another's laps, but there was a ton of space for cooking and experimenting and enjoying one another's company. During their retail hours they're open for shopping and have some tables for folks to enjoy coffee and perhaps a sweet treat. The shop has little tasting cups for their oils and vinegars. I bought a couple bottles of vinegar--one blueberry and one strawberry--and I can't wait to figure out what I can use them for. They're delicious. They have dishwater, teapots, high quality chocolate and other ingredients. There's a cooler with some good stuff as well. Perhaps my favorite item was one that my daughter pointed out and I might have skipped right over it. In their cooler was their version of a whoopie pie. It was made with deep chocolate cakes sandwiching a buttercream filling. It was amazing, so rich that even the small portion I had was enough. They had a small whoopie pie cake too, if you're looking for a special occasion cake! I was bummed that on our way back we got here after they'd closed for the day so we couldn't visit a second time. I'm so glad that by happenstance I found out this place was in the town next to where I'd already been planning an overnight stop. It was absolutely worth the visit and I would recommend it to anyone, especially locals! If I find myself in the Cleveland area again, we will be making a visit.

Too many chemicals may have been used on them. Strawberries are number on on the Dirty Dozen list of produce with the most pesticide residue, and I thought that local ones would not have as many chemicals in them. So why only one star? I am a disabled person who has a service dog to help me. As soon as we walked in the door, the woman who owns the shop fought her way through the crowd to get to me and demanded to see my dog's registration papers to prove she was a service dog. Oh, boy... I politely explained to her that registration is not a thing for service dogs and shared with her the 2 legal questions that businesses are authorized to ask dog handlers, and volunteered my responses. She insisted that she knows better and that there is a registry for service dogs and she will need to see Piper's registration to allow us to remain in her store. She even went so far as to tell me she'll call the police and have them tell me there is a registry for service dogs. I let her know that's not necessary I'll find and correct the police if they're incorrectly stating ADA requirements. (this happens more often than you might imagine.) I confirmed with her the location of the police in WSM and went to find one. I did get her to accept my ADA card though, so that's progress. After the lady harassed me about Piper, I didn't have much of an appetite for her wares. We left feeling trampled on and violated. Note: I did seek out the officer. Not only did the officer understand ADA requirements, he offered to go with me to correct the woman. I told him that I would never patronize her store now so I'm not interested in accompanying him, but I appreciate his effort to prevent her from discriminating against the next dog handler that enters the premises. He chased me down in a crowded market later to tell me that he'd had a conversation with the woman and she now understands ADA law. Would I recommend? not if you're disabled Would I return? not on your life Service Dog Grade: F. Denied access and required police correction. I have never filed a complaint re: ADA before today:(

This is a small honey and gift shop located outside of Barnes and Nobles in the middle of Crocker…read morePark mall. It's a kiosk outside in the mall premises. I visited in January 2025 while I at Crocker Park. I didn't even know about this business until I stumbled upon it on my walk to Barnes and Nobles. They offer honey of different varieties (flavours), chapsticks, soaps, honey gift sets, and more. I bought a 16oz (454g) bottle of raw honey named "Linda's Sweet Honey". See attached photo. I've used this honey in several cups of tea already and I love it. It's a bit more watery than expected but it still functions as any honey should. I am just used to seeing thicker honey so the watery one that I have threw me off guard a little bit. The employee working on the day my friend and I visited is the owner's son. He was very friendly and nice to chat with. I asked him how the business started and he explained how his mom started the business. I got to sample about 3 different kinds of honey which was cool. My friend bought 4 lip balms (chapsticks) and she gave me one, the wildflower lip balm. I like the lip balm because it is made with pure Ohio beeswax, it's non-GMO, plus it is moisturizing which is the most important part. The business is based out of Warren, Ohio.
