Service is fantastic and the baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. I've tried two coffees here so far, the chagaccino and the collagen crush. The chagaccino was on the sweeter side and I'm already planning my next time ordering that!! The collagen crush is a healthy pick, with 10g of protein, collagen peptides, and ashwaganda. UPDATED REVIEW (July 2026) -- When I first heard of Tone House, I honestly thought they were a fitness studio and I got super excited, until I saw "Coffee" next to their name (LOL). Although I'm not a coffee drinker, I'll try any drink but I do stick with tea. I'm updating my initial Yelp review from 4 to 5 stars. Sometimes putting a face to a business changes your perspective. Originally, I rated them 4 stars because with only 1 outlet, those trying to work on a laptop will be inconvenienced. When I first visited in June 2026, I was lucky to snag the only outlet. A woman came in shortly after I did, needing an outlet as her laptop had to be charged. So, I told her to move the table she was using closer to mine so that she could use the outlet. Anyway, that is all about to change (read below). I luckily met the owners, a married couple, Chrissy and Mark (I believe his name is Mark?) and their baby on Saturday, 11 July 2026. I came in the morning to get my favourite drink, Masala Chai, which is sourced from a company called Dona in Brooklyn, New York (Dona Chai LLC, to be specific). I also found out that Tone House sells the liquid Masala Chai concentrate mix so I'll definitely be stopping in again to buy it. I like that the company Dona doesn't use any artificial flavours or preservatives in their chai mix. On July 11th, I spoke with sweet Chrissy (owner) who explained that Phase 2 of the coffee shop build-out is coming soon. I didn't get to chat with her husband but I did see him. They plan to add additional wall outlets and build-out a whole new seating area long the back wall where the TV monitors or projectors currently are located. This is an exciting plan and I can't wait to see this come to fruition. Honestly, I prefer to sit and read at coffee shops instead of being on a device (laptop) but my remote work life means that I am always on the go visiting different coffee shops. Thus, I will always need an outlet while working on my laptop. WHAT I LOVE -- I love that Tone House is a family owned business (local) and a family-friendly establishment. I see kids here often and I even noticed one young boy a few days ago playing chess with his Uncle but I'm not sure if the chess board comes with the coffee shop or if they brought it in themselves. I also love that Tone House collaborates with local businesses such as ENERGI, a new Pilates and fitness studio that is opening soon. I love Pilates, especially Reformer Pilates, so I can't wait to visit ENERGI. Tone House actually collaborated with ENERGI recently for a fitness class inside the coffee shop - I wasn't there but I heard about it. They pushed tables and chairs aside to create space for the workout. I think it may have actually been a yoga class. Stop on in and grab a drink or two. Maybe get a Dirty Chai (addition of espresso). What a beautiful space ! This coffee shop is tucked away in a little corner, so it might be hard to see at first. There's also a small parking lot that's shared with other popular businesses like Kelsey Elizabeth Cakes. The space is very open, beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing. Whomever designed it, can they please give me tips on decorating my house? Lol. The warm browns and tans are just so inviting and trendy! The coffee options are standard, but then they have some unique options as well with health supplements like collagen and mushrooms. I got an iced latte with one of their syrups on rotation. I can't remember what it was called but it was so cozy with cinnamon and honey. Mmmm. We came on a Friday at around 10:30am and walked right up to the ordering counter and sat right down at a table. Business was quick. The only thing that I'd say about the workers is she mixed up our two drinks! lol. So a little more care would be helpful. A great addition to the neighborhood!! Tone House was bright, open and full of new coffee possibilities...plenty of casual seating with a small bright patio upon walking in. The barista staff was friendly and accommodating, especially for this non coffee drinker. The chai was hot, a must, extra spicy with the addition of purple cardamom, loved it. They offer a great selection of Tea Lab teas, hot cold and bottled to go. They also offer quite a few hoodies and t-shirts . read more

This new & modern coffee shop in Rocky River is still in their soft opening phase! Tucked in the corner of a small plaza off Detroit Rd & Lakeview Ave! Tone House is a new kind of coffee shop- offering mushroom coffee, chafa, monk fruit, collagen, protein, ashwaganda, lions mane, organic ceremonial matcha, AND MORE! Their coffees really seem like a craft! The barista helped me picked the collagen crush.... A mushroom coffee base which supposedly slowly gives you coffee instead of all at once. This drink contains: COLLAGEN PEPTIDES/10G PROTEIN, COCONUT SUGAR, CACAO, ASHWAGANDA & LION'S MANE, VANILLA BEAN, & DOUBLE SHOT!! I had never had mushroom coffee before and I was scared because I do not like mushrooms.... But after my first sip i realized she was right! It was a delicious blend of all these ingredients but I was still able to taste the coffee!! I cannot wait to see what else this coffee shop offers once they get themselves fully settled! I love this new coffee shop in Rocky River. In the same plaza as Kelsey Elizabeth and Soothe Massage. What a perfect addition to the plaza. Only got Americano this go round. It was very good.
