Following extensive investigation, discussion with prior clients, and review of credentials we were pleased to select Red Diamond Roofing to replace our old roof which had been damaged by a severe hail storm in June of 2018. Luckily, although the roof had been badly damaged it did not leak; we were among thousands of homeowners in our area who suffered the same event. Because we had replaced an earlier roof in 1995, also as the result of hail, we did not realize immediately that our "new" roof had been damaged because in 1995 our insurance company had voluntarily paid 1/3 more in insurance coverage than was required in order that we receive a much higher quality roof in theory more resistant to hail. It was late fall of 2018 when we finally decided to have our roof checked, only to find that it did in fact require replacement. Due our late action we were not able to replace the roof until the spring of 2019; during the interim we did our homework and concluded that we wanted to work with Red Diamond, one of the contractors who had bid on our roof. We were and have been completely delighted and impressed by Red Diamond and Mathew Wright, our Project Manager from the inception of the project. Mathew was diligent, hard-working, always available at any time of the day (even on weekends) and oversaw every detail to our complete satisfaction, including helping to persuade our insurance carrier to once again increase the settlement amount so that our new roof was of the finest materials available, at significantly more cost than simple replacement! Although our roof took longer to be installed due to the winter of 2018/2019, Mathew never left of wondering what our status was, and as soon as weather permitted, he arranged for us to have the work start as soon as it was safe to do so. We love our new roof, it's handsome and distinct and stands out in our neighborhood, and we get many compliments from visitors, neighbors, and requests to know about the roof and who installed it. After discovering hail damage on a rental property, I contacted a few roofing companies to get quotes. Red Diamond roofing quickly made me an appointment with Mark Lewis who was out the next day. Mark took the time to explain the whole roof claims process and while performing the inspection of the roof, also alerted me to other issues that would need addressing. Mark did not attempt to upsell me on any services and in fact in one instance recommended I find another contractor for some additional work as they could get things done faster and more cost effectively than his crew. I really appreciated his attention to detail and ability to convey information to me in an easy to understand manner. I ended up going with a non-standard tile color but Mark made it work and provided me all the information necessary to have my current insurance company (a different one than covered the hail damage) approve the discount for impact resistance. Mark kept in contact with me throughout the entire process and after any email or phone call responded to me within a few hours. Where we had schedule conflicts for in person meeting, Mark worked to make things easier on my end. We had the pleasure of working with Red Diamond Roofing and specifically our project manager, Tyler Calomino, after last summer's hail storm which left our roof significantly damaged. Tyler walked us through every step of the process, and in every way, was a true professional. After coming out to do an initial evaluation of our roof, he noticed that the peak above our sun room was vulnerable to more water damage, so he did a short term repair on the spot! Additionally, he came out during the insurance inspection be be sure that the evaluator was made aware of all of the damage. As a result, damage was noted that we were even unaware of--the gutters for instance which were replaced along with the roof. Tyler was the perfect intermediary between our insurance company and Red Diamond Roofing. He made sure that funds were accurate and that the correct payments were made. It couldn't have been easier. We were updated frequently throughout the whole process and couldn't be happier with the end result! So fast! A tree fell onto our roof from our property during a wind storm last Spring. We got a recommendation from a friend and after we decided to go with Red Diamond, they were quick to get going for us. They removed our old roof and installed a new one in one day, less than two weeks later. All in all it took only about 9 hours to get the work done on install day. Install day was educational and really easy. The entire roof removed and replaced by the afternoon because they brought a lot of workers and our single-story ranch made it a little quicker too. Still, very fast. They finished by checking the entirety of our property with magnets a couple of times making certain there weren't left over nails anywhere. I appreciate the thoughtfulness. One last notable thing, our neighbor watched the whole thing go down from across the street that day. I had a great experience working with these guys and particularly Tyler Calomino. I needed to have my roof replaced. After getting a number of bids and interacting with a few more places, Tyler was by far the most professional, responsive and informative person that I contacted. He also helped with the insurance paperwork and explained in detail what was covered and what was not. As far as the price goes, all bids were pretty much exactly the same. Once I decided to move on with Red Diamond Roofing, Tyler met me in person, provided the details of the project and gave us an array of options to pick from, explaining the pros and cons. After a short waiting period, the job got scheduled. The crew worked incredibly fast and was done in one day, and the end result looks great. The day after they came back to finish up some small details and clean up. They left the front and backyard cleaner than it was before. After the June hail storm we were bombarded with roofing companies coming to our house. My husband and I did our research and we decided to call Red Diamond Roofing to come and look at our roof. We had already had our insurance adjuster come and give us the insurance estimate of damages. When Mark came to look at our roof and gutters he helped us get better quality shingles than we had, and put larger downspouts to prevent a problem we had with our previous gutters. Our roof was damaged from a hail storm, so we were looking for a roofer. Right after the hail storm, multiple contractors started knocking on the door. We decided to wait and were referred to RedDiamond Roofing by a friend who had worked with Brian. It was so helpful to have someone to consult with and who was our advocate working with the insurance company (which I needed). On multiple occasions Brian met with the insurance adjuster to go over the claim. We have 11 skylights (5 tube type) on the roof and Brian/RedDiamond went above and beyond to get replacement parts (that are actually better then the original). I can't say enough great things about Red Diamond Roofing. Matt was extremely professional. When he came out for the initial consult, he was the only one, out of several other roofing companies, that was able to answer my questions and explain everything at that time. He had visual aides so I could understand things better. The biggest thing I really like about Matt, compared to other roofers, is his honesty. We had a hail storm about 3 years ago but I didn't think it was severe enough to do damage to our roof. Then we had a roof leak, unrelated to the hail, and about that time a salesperson from Red Diamond Roofing stopped by. When he got on the roof to inspect it he said "did you know you have some hail damage"? The insurance company only wanted to pay to re-shingle one side of the roof but thanks to the persistance of Red Diamond Roofing, we ended up getting the entire roof re-shingled as well as a new ceiling in one room of the house. Red Diamond roofing has done multiple roof replacements in our neighborhood - all went flawlessly and look fantastic. We unfortunately went with a recommendation from our American Family Insurance agent. Roof failed inspection, and the company went out of business. Red Diamond took my call, came out next day and remediated the errors from the previous roofer at a very reasonable rate, and explained everything thoroughly every step of the way. I telephoned Brian Dewald at Red Diamond Roofing based on a referral. He proved his knowledge over the telephone, so we scheduled a meeting. He came on time and prepared with specific hail resistant shingle samples, company info, license and certificates, and contracts for review. In addition to the specific shingle requirements, I had specific roof decking, vents, and power fan requirements too. No problem. Good guy. Red Diamond handled the code requirements and cost increases directly with State Farm. The project started and completed exactly as stated. The work crew was outstanding. I went with Red Diamond roofing based on a referral from my Realtor, overall I would say I was very pleased with the results. Matt, their rep, came out first to do an initial assessment and then a second time when the claim adjuster was on-site to go through all the problems that we had found. He also worked with me to get a few improvements, namely we added aluminum flashing around the trim and a ridge vent along the top to improve air flow between the insulation and decking. The install went really smooth, his crew ripped off the old roof and had the new one installed in a day. We had hail damage to our roof. Michele from Red Diamond Roofing came out and gave us an estimate. She went above and beyond to make sure we got the roof, gutters and other things repaired from the hail storm. Michele was even here when the insurance adjustor came to our home. She was also here at times during the installation of the roof. My roof was installed on the date it was promised, they did a very good job, cleaned up after themselves and left everything the way they found it.
