    Chicken pasta

I have been here three times in the last two weeks and it is definitely the best food in fate and rockwall in general. Their waffle is one of the best I have had in a very long while. The Gravy and Biscuit was well put together, flavorful and the biscuit was super fluffy. I have also had the chicken pasta and it was delicious. Would love even more vegetables in it like asparagus or maybe broccoli, but that is just a preference the dish is really good. Great location, inside is clean with nice esthetics. I am super happy to have them so close to the neighborhood and look forward to plenty more dining.

We were in fate at random from Forney and just happened to see this place. We are so glad we did! The service was friendly from the moment we walked in the door. They were helpful and cheerful which immediately made the place feel welcoming. The London fog is easily the best London fog I have ever had. Then I got the gluten free avocado toast... no complaints. My spouse got the chicken and waffles sliders with the waffle fries and said it was soo phenomenal and delicious. It's a cook vibe with plenty of space for groups or couples.

Absolutely loved the food, got the breakfast panini and the chicken and waffle sliders. So many great options and will go back to try more! Staff were very friendly and loved the area.

Ambiance was nice for brunch today. The food was outstanding and had a wonderful avocado toast. Service was interesting as you order at the front then they will bring your food out to you at your table. When we arrived at 11AM there wasn't many people but it soon got packed after lunch. Def will go back again and try a different dish.

$11.75 biscuits and gravy. $15.25 breakfast tacos

Swing in around 8 am on a sunday. Was greeted by a female employee were seemed tired or disinterested. Not a good start. If you get a soft drink, you're given a glass along with a 12 oz can. Really? I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Gravy was lukewarm at best, biscuits were at least hot. Solid flavor but for what you pay, the portion isn't worth it. Wife had the breakfast tacos. She said they were good but also agreed they were overpriced. The inside of the restaurant is nice for the most part. The booth side could use more depth. Overall, we had higher hopes coming in so it was disappointing. Can't say I'd recommend it even though we live close.

Well, I definitely will try it again because it's local. The food was good. But it seemed I had to wait forever for a soup and salad. Chef came out and seemed pretty stressed. I was kinda hoping he was coming out to say hi to the guests but he just seemed...maybe irritated. I came for breakfast but I must've missed the cutoff. So lunch it is. French onion soup and kale Caesar. Always some kinks to work out when you're new so I'll give it another shot at breakfast time! :) Edit: the immediate response from the biz owner shows real commitment and dedication. As someone who used to work for years in the restaurant biz, I understand stressful days. And as a nurse, I understand how everyone is sick right now! Look forward to trying breakfast soon. :)

This is a beautiful counter service restaurant and I say that because you have to order at the counter first and then find your seat. They do bring the food and drinks to your table and have people checking on you occasionally. Pros: I love the indoor garden decor, they have plants above the bar area and some framed on the walls. It's a nice touch to seating area which can host many guests. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the maple waffle fries, chicken & waffles, and the breakfast pizza. The fries were sweet and fried to perfection while the chicken was juicy and tender, and the pizza was perfect. Con: The drinks were not good. We had a hot chai latte and an iced latte. Both of them sadly tasted water downed. It tasted as if they just added milk and water together. This is certainly a place worth trying, you won't be disappointed in the food! FYI this is located in Fate,TX so I'm not sure why it says Rockwall.

This is our third time coming here. This is going to be an honest review. The first time we came back in spring of 2025, service was great but food was honestly not worth it at all for the price. I'm not one to leave a bad review because it's just my opinion and the amount of money and time they put into the place doesn't warrant a bad review. Second time we went, we sat at the bar and drank coffee. Coffee has always been fantastic. Third time are the pictures shown. We went after church this past weekend because honestly every where else we went was full with a wait so this was the last stop. It was very busy but we got a table. The menu is completely different from the first time we ate there which I was very happy to see. Bravo to you all! It was hard to decide what to get but what we did get was all fantastic! I'm so glad we stopped in because now we will be coming back to eat again. Service is still great and the place inside is always clean.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR TIME AT RED DIRT SOCIAL‼ We walked in about 30 minutes before closing (didn't even realize it at first), but the staff was still incredibly kind and welcoming. The food? Next-level. We ordered: * Breakfast Pizza (no basil/pesto) - SO GOOD. * Chicken & Waffles - ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. The white chocolate chips and bacon jalapeño jam added unreal depth to the flavor. * Honey Maple Turkey Panini - Delicious! * Chicken Alfredo - The sauce alone deserves its own shoutout... packed with flavor! We're a pretty picky family when it comes to food, and it's rare for everyone to walk away this impressed--but Red Dirt Social nailed it. Only downside? They close at 3PM so we can't come back for dinner... Also, the ambiance is super dope--music loud enough to create a great vibe but quiet enough for conversation. 10/10 - we'll definitely be back!

Not exaggerating, this is THE BEST place east of Dallas, by far! Qualify of food and ingredients are AMAZING! The flavor! Generous portions too. The waffle fries are NOTHING short of genius! Great coffee, the place is a vibe! Locally owned. Michael, the owner, and his staff give the best service.

Had lunch with another awesome couple here. The joint's small and intimate. It gets a little loud at times. The staff were pleasant and were working their tails off. The owner/chef spoke with us briefly. We all ordered something different so we could sample. My buddy had the breakfast pizza, his wife the "crazy" Panini, Boss Lady the Monte Cristo, and I the Italian Panini. All were delicious and came out hot, if they were supposed to be that way. The iced tea was fresh. They serve Lion's Head coffee (it's roasted just a few miles away), which is great coffee. We didn't have dessert, but we will next time.

The breakfast menu has lots of tasty options--standard cafe fare, with some Mexican breakfast options typical for the area. The service was great! This place is super efficient! They pump out a large quantity of fresh and tasty food impressively fast. Everything we had was hot, well prepared, and delicious! Pancakes are fluffy, the ham was huge, and the eggs on the chorizo skillet were done perfectly! Portions are large and the prices are terrific! I'm absolutely terrible with names but we had the sweetest waitress, she greeted us with a big smile and took our drink order. Then she promptly took our food order after giving us several recommendations since we'd never been here before. My husband, son, and I all got different cheese burgers. I got the Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger and it was delicious! It comes on Texas Toast, two patties, cheese, and lots of delicious bacon. My son got the kids burger and added bacon to it, listen this 6 year old can be an extremely picky eater, he ate the entire burger and kept saying how good it was. Don't get the steak if you care how it's cooked…read more I ordered medium well, it came out medium rare. The waiter asked if I would cut into it to check other parts. I refused because I just needed to jiggle it with my fork and knife to see that it was underdone. They took it back and it came back half medium and half slightly over medium well. What's killing me is that I was told that they had checked it the second time and I could see several cuts on the steak (that's crazy that the chef/cook had to figure out doneness that way). But one of the openings in the steak was clearly medium, which he later affirmed. So, I'm not sure what they checked before! The non-bloody parts of the steak did taste good, though. So, if you don't care about doneness, go for it. Also, they had weird plating on the steak. Go for the board or go for plates but this awkward plates on a cutting board means you delicately try to not knock anything off. Pro tip: scrape it all onto the board The calamari was tasty except the plate was half fried zucchini. Slick move to get $16 out of me for a tempura plate. Otherwise, service was pretty slow although the restaurant was maybe 1/4 occupied. I had my doubts since the spot a couple doors down had a one-hour wait. Should've trusted my gut.
