Absolutely loved the food, got the breakfast panini and the chicken and waffle sliders. So many great options and will go back to try more! Staff were very friendly and loved the area.

Excellent food, drinks, and service. Will definitely be back. Cute decor as well. Will definitely be back.

Ambiance was nice for brunch today. The food was outstanding and had a wonderful avocado toast. Service was interesting as you order at the front then they will bring your food out to you at your table. When we arrived at 11AM there wasn't many people but it soon got packed after lunch. Def will go back again and try a different dish.

$11.75 biscuits and gravy. $15.25 breakfast tacos

Swing in around 8 am on a sunday. Was greeted by a female employee were seemed tired or disinterested. Not a good start. If you get a soft drink, you're given a glass along with a 12 oz can. Really? I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Gravy was lukewarm at best, biscuits were at least hot. Solid flavor but for what you pay, the portion isn't worth it. Wife had the breakfast tacos. She said they were good but also agreed they were overpriced. The inside of the restaurant is nice for the most part. The booth side could use more depth. Overall, we had higher hopes coming in so it was disappointing. Can't say I'd recommend it even though we live close.

Well, I definitely will try it again because it's local. The food was good. But it seemed I had to wait forever for a soup and salad. Chef came out and seemed pretty stressed. I was kinda hoping he was coming out to say hi to the guests but he just seemed...maybe irritated. I came for breakfast but I must've missed the cutoff. So lunch it is. French onion soup and kale Caesar. Always some kinks to work out when you're new so I'll give it another shot at breakfast time! :) Edit: the immediate response from the biz owner shows real commitment and dedication. As someone who used to work for years in the restaurant biz, I understand stressful days. And as a nurse, I understand how everyone is sick right now! Look forward to trying breakfast soon. :)

This is our third time coming here. This is going to be an honest review. The first time we came back in spring of 2025, service was great but food was honestly not worth it at all for the price. I'm not one to leave a bad review because it's just my opinion and the amount of money and time they put into the place doesn't warrant a bad review. Second time we went, we sat at the bar and drank coffee. Coffee has always been fantastic. Third time are the pictures shown. We went after church this past weekend because honestly every where else we went was full with a wait so this was the last stop. It was very busy but we got a table. The menu is completely different from the first time we ate there which I was very happy to see. Bravo to you all! It was hard to decide what to get but what we did get was all fantastic! I'm so glad we stopped in because now we will be coming back to eat again. Service is still great and the place inside is always clean.

This is a beautiful counter service restaurant and I say that because you have to order at the counter first and then find your seat. They do bring the food and drinks to your table and have people checking on you occasionally. Pros: I love the indoor garden decor, they have plants above the bar area and some framed on the walls. It's a nice touch to seating area which can host many guests. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the maple waffle fries, chicken & waffles, and the breakfast pizza. The fries were sweet and fried to perfection while the chicken was juicy and tender, and the pizza was perfect. Con: The drinks were not good. We had a hot chai latte and an iced latte. Both of them sadly tasted water downed. It tasted as if they just added milk and water together. This is certainly a place worth trying, you won't be disappointed in the food! FYI this is located in Fate,TX so I'm not sure why it says Rockwall.

Not exaggerating, this is THE BEST place east of Dallas, by far! Qualify of food and ingredients are AMAZING! The flavor! Generous portions too. The waffle fries are NOTHING short of genius! Great coffee, the place is a vibe! Locally owned. Michael, the owner, and his staff give the best service.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR TIME AT RED DIRT SOCIAL‼ We walked in about 30 minutes before closing (didn't even realize it at first), but the staff was still incredibly kind and welcoming. The food? Next-level. We ordered: * Breakfast Pizza (no basil/pesto) - SO GOOD. * Chicken & Waffles - ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. The white chocolate chips and bacon jalapeño jam added unreal depth to the flavor. * Honey Maple Turkey Panini - Delicious! * Chicken Alfredo - The sauce alone deserves its own shoutout... packed with flavor! We're a pretty picky family when it comes to food, and it's rare for everyone to walk away this impressed--but Red Dirt Social nailed it. Only downside? They close at 3PM so we can't come back for dinner... Also, the ambiance is super dope--music loud enough to create a great vibe but quiet enough for conversation. 10/10 - we'll definitely be back!

Had lunch with another awesome couple here. The joint's small and intimate. It gets a little loud at times. The staff were pleasant and were working their tails off. The owner/chef spoke with us briefly. We all ordered something different so we could sample. My buddy had the breakfast pizza, his wife the "crazy" Panini, Boss Lady the Monte Cristo, and I the Italian Panini. All were delicious and came out hot, if they were supposed to be that way. The iced tea was fresh. They serve Lion's Head coffee (it's roasted just a few miles away), which is great coffee. We didn't have dessert, but we will next time.

Searched online for breakfast/ brunch and it popped up. Decided to try it since it was much closer to home rather than driving into downtown Dallas. Greeted when we walked in. You can order at the counter or take the menu find a table and then go back to order. Not a large place so you may have to wait a bit. It has a few tables for outdoor seating. Biscuits and gravy were 100 out of 10. Plenty of sausage And seasoned to perfection. Biscuits were awesome as well. The banana parfait is very simple, but hit the spot. Classic breakfast again was simple and satisfying, but will try something different next time. Maple fries were suggested and they were on point. Will definitely return and try something else on the menu.

We took my dad to dinner and he complained that it was a little loud, but felt like we sat right under a speaker. I explained to him that it was part of the "vibe". Other than the volume making it difficult to hear, everything was fantastic. We probably could have asked to sit on the heated patio. The chips were warm and fresh and came with both red and green salsa, and both were super tasty. My husband asked if I could make salsa like that at home! We ordered drinks and they came quickly. I appreciated the quality of the drinks especially since we mostly ordered from their drink menu. We ordered "The Good Guac" to start and our server made sure that it wasn't too spicy or anything for my dad. I thought that was very thoughtful that she asked if how it came was ok. For food we ordered street tacos, Baja fish tacos and the parillada en fuego. The food runner seemed confused and brought us another dish (maybe the Verde molcajete) but with the loud music the message that we didn't order it was lost in translation. My husband thought maybe it was what he ordered and started in. Because our server came to check on us so quickly, she caught the mistake right away. She apologized profusely and said they were bringing what we ordered. They allowed us to keep the dish, and no sooner did we have a few bites of the deliciousness the correct food came out. They checked on us quickly, apologized profusely, brought the correct food immediately, let us keep the other food, sent another manager to apologize and finally followed up with coupons to return after making sure we were satisfied with how they handled it. I understand humans make mistakes, so I feel like the recovery or response is what is important. This is the type of amazing service that will keep us coming back. We were actually happy with the mistake as we were able to try another dish we likely wouldn't have ordered (but ended up being our favorite thing to eat). The ambiance was fun, parking was easy, the wait was reasonable, the service was FANTASTIC, the food was delicious and food/drinks were made with quality ingredients. We'll be back!

But they are definitely making the effort to deserve respect. First, we were seated promptly and our server was very responsive, so much so that we hadn't even had a moment to peruse the wine menu before she arrived. I would recommend that the servers be trained to bring water and the bread and butter without asking in order to offer the guests a chance to settle in for a moment. (Fresh french bread and good butter, by the way. I don't usually indulge in that, but I had 2 slices.) And if a guest asks to sample a wine, the answer is always "Yes." They are going to order wine, they just don't know if it will be that one. Both my wife and I started with side salads, which were great. Very fresh greens, and dressings that were obviously made in-house and delicious (awesome lemon vinaigrette on the bistro salad and a truly great Caesar dressing.) I should mention that their wine selection is made up of good labels you probably drink regularly, with a few neat additions that are worth a try. My wife ordered the grilled salmon cooked to her preference, and it was served that way. She really liked the lemon sauce with which it was served, along with risotto and al dente veggies including squash, zucchini and carrots (well seasoned.) I had the duck confit, and it too, was very good. Mashed potatoes made in house (again, well seasoned) with the same grilled vegetables. I appreciate many things about this restaurant. Frankly, I don't understand why it wasn't packed. The lighting is nice, the music is just perceptible so as not to be intrusive. The service is very attentive, and the food is really good. The price point is reasonable. The most expensive meal on the menu is about $35, but they offer plenty of great options for less. Having written a brunch review for this restaurant before on Google, I noticed that they take the input from their clients seriously, and I appreciate that. This is a place that is putting in the work, and it shows. I forgot to mention that they have a barista on staff even in the evenings, and pastries that are made by an actual French pastry chef (I indulged in the Croissant Aux Aumandes on our previous visit, and it is absolutely legit.) Parking on the square in Rockwall can be an issue, and Belle Vie is in the middle of the block, so maybe it is somewhat overlooked, but it is definitely worth a visit. I'll be going back pretty soon for the lamb at dinner time. I also want to try their French onion soup and French dip. You should go. You won't be disappointed.
