We went when the first opened so hopefully the have worked out the issues. They were not trained on making substitutions or additions, the dining room was slow to be cleaned and they were just overall overwhelmed. The staff was very apologetic and kind so that made the service issues slight more bearable. The food was awful. Bland. Bland. Bland. And cold. This was my first visit. The restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. I ordered the BLT and pie. My dinner was great. The BLT on sourdough was perfect. Recently I was on my way home when I made a last minute decision to stop at this new restaurant. Nation is known for their breakfast, burgers , and pies made daily. Whole pies and slices. Upon my entry a young man spoke to me. I told him I had glanced at their menu on doordash but had no idea what I wanted to eat. Give me a little time to review. I had to say something their prices are a bit steep and their are no combos. Each item has a price. He informed me Nation's is based in California and their prices were brought herec to Texas . The food is made when ordered . The restaurant was spotless nice and clean. There were less than ten people enjoying their food while they converse with others sitting at their table. The young man returned to the cook top and his colleague Raquel smiled and took my order. Raquel handed me a regular size cup to get the drink of my choice. I ‍ walked to fountain station. Filled with "sonic" not too much The drink I chose was pink lemonade . I didn't time how long it took him to prepare my meal. I guess around 10 minutes give or take. I left the restaurant with a popping hot meal . My drive home took 30 minutes . I ate a few fries slowly because they were very hot had to constantly blow on them just so I could eat them. Returned home safely preceded to the living room. Picked up my serving tray arranging food on it. To my surprise my food was no longer hot or warm I just wanted to eat and it was actually good. This was our first visit here. We ordered a veggie burger and a grilled chicken with fries and onion rings. The grilled chicken is good, seasoned pretty good, the veggie burger needs some flavor on the patty, but okay. I think that they put too many onions on the burgers, which kinda over powers the taste. The fries are good and the onion rings are too. I'm glad that they use a whole wheat bun. We also had the no sugar added apple pie, it was under cooked, the crust needed to bake a little longer. I baked it in my oven a little longer.The service is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is a little loud, depending upon when you go. I will probably visit again and recommend them. read more

Typical fast food place on the inside. Had the patty melt and it didn't wow me. Was okay. Onion rings have a lot of breading on them. Okay but nothing earth shattering. We went on a Wednesday night around 8. There was no crowd just a few tables. The food was great. I loved my Double Cheeseburger and fries. The wife had the sliders and said they were really good. Breakfast is flavorless. Coffee is fine if you're desperate for a cup. The bacon is hard to chew not sure what it actually is but not normal bacon. The eggs are fake and taste it. Scrambled eggs are just a bunch of flat chopped up pieces that resemble a crepe. You're better off getting breakfast at McDonald's. read more

The service was a bit off because I had to wait several minutes to get someone to take my order. Got a pie sample and the pie is mid at best. The crust isn't anything special just barely cooked frozen pie crust. Yet a basic slice is about $6 and I can get a quality slice in a Dallas Pie shop like Humble Simply Pies for the same price. This place is not set up for families to enjoy a meal. The kids meals are completely al a carte. You pay $5-6 for flat cheeseburger sliders or a regular size plain hot dog. If you want fries it's an additional $3. If you want drinks for the kids it's also an additional cost and the cup size is 20-30 oz. Which isn't suitable for a kid or small child only a teen or up . My meals for my kids were actually more than Chick Fil A. My burger was good but overall this isn't a place I'd prefer to come back to. read more

I immediately went to this location and the burgers are just as I remember them...the best I've ever had. Food was amazing! Sat down our two families at two booths and two end tables. Ordered within minutes. Got our food quickly. I have never had a bad experience at any of their locations. I should mention I've been to many of their locations in the SF East Bay Area and after moving to Waco, Texas one of the restaurants we missed who we believed had some of the best food and was one of our go to restaurants was Nations Giant Hamburgers and when we noticed there were a few in the Dallas area who took a 1.5 hour drive out to Dallas to eat at one of their new locations outside of the Bay Area. It just so happened that our family met the owner's daughter at this location while eating there and had a great conversation with her and were very happy and to have gone there again today we hope to see them expand in central Texas like they have done in the Bay Area and stop by anytime were back in Dallas. read more
